Honkai: Star Rail Leak Teases Return of Popular Character in Version 2.5
A recent leak from Honkai: Star Rail hints at the return of one of the game’s most popular characters in a new event for Version 2.5. The sci-fi RPG from HoYoverse features a diverse roster of over fifty characters across its three fully playable worlds. With Version 2.5, three new characters will join the game, but the spotlight is on the return of a beloved character group.
The Stellaron Hunters have been fan favorites since Honkai: Star Rail’s debut. Players first meet Kafka and Silver Wolf during the opening sequence, where the duo infiltrates the Herta Space Station. Blade joined the roster during the Xianzhou Luofu story, and Firefly quickly became a hit with her introduction in the new world of Penacony. Now, one of the Stellaron Hunters is set to reappear in the next update.
Prominent HoYoverse leaker HomDGCat has revealed that Silver Wolf will return in Version 2.5. According to the leak, Silver Wolf will feature in an event, possibly the “Luminary Wardance” event previously teased. The leak includes dialogue snippets with Silver Wolf, though it remains unclear if she will appear in person or through a mini-game.

HomDGCat also suggested that Version 2.5 might be a lighter update, with one major and one minor event. Additionally, two new Planar Ornament sets may be introduced, hinting at potential updates to the Simulated Universe. Version 2.5 is confirmed to launch on September 10.
As fans look forward to Version 2.5, the recent Version 2.4 update has already added significant content. The return to Xianzhou Luofu brought two new characters: the five-star Yunli and a new form for March 7th. Version 2.4 also includes multiple re-runs, featuring Huohuo with Yunli and Sparkle, and the release of Jiaoqiu in the second half. Players can soon expect to see Silver Wolf’s familiar face with her anticipated return in Version 2.5.
