Hi Varun,
I am writing to inform you that I couldn’t make up for the annual board meeting held last week in our office.
I would like to sincerely apologize for not being present for this important meeting which I was really looking for. The reason being very genuine that I had to visit my friend who recently met with an accident and hospitalized.
My friend Vineet is from Kolkata and lives alone here in Bangalore. As he is new to the city and I am being his only friend, It is my responsibility to take care of him. I was in the hospital for the past 2 days during this dire need. He is being recovering now and the doctors have assured that he will be discharged in a few days.
Regarding the board meeting, I shall go through the recordings of this event and also get an update from my colleague Nisha today. I will make sure to work on any action items that I am assign to work on.
I would again beg your pardon for not being present for this event.
