I am writing this letter to inform and notify you of the false information posted about the famous Meenakshi Temple in your last week’s magazine under the article “Heritage”.
In that article, it was mentioned that the Meenakshi Temple is located on the bank of the Cauvery river and was built by Chozha Emperor. Actually, the temple is located on the bank of the Vaigai River and was built by the Pandian Emperor.
As a reader of your magazine, I was initially astonished to see false information published in a renowned magazine where many young readers are following the articles published in it. I believe that a magazine or a newspaper plays a major role in delivering facts and truths to the people, especially renowned and reputed magazines like “Frontline,” which should pay more attention to the facts before publishing. So, I request that you repost the article in the next week’s publication of the magazine with the proper facts and truths.
