Dear Sir,
I feel delighted of being selected by your prestigious college for the four-year degree program. However, I regret the selection of my subject due to which I am writing this letter to permit me the change in the present degree.
I, the undersigned, am a student in the first year of Electrical Engineering Batch 2022. I began my course a month back on the 22nd of April 2022 after being enrolled in the second counseling that happened on the 15th of March 2022.
It gives me immense pain to reflect that I do not feel interested to pursue Electrical Engineering, maybe because of my inclination toward architecture. Initially, I had no other choice than to go with the selected degree as there were no seats available in other departments. Recently, I came across the news about the availability of admission in a few other fields; therefore I decided to write to you.
I would be really grateful to you if you could allow me to switch my course to Architectural Assistantship, resulting in pursuing my dream job of being an Architect. Nonetheless, I feel this decision will benefit me in long run. Along with this, I would like to request to adjust my already paid fee in the new selection as I am not in the position to pay the amount again.
I hope my request would be considered.
