    The given table illustrates the population of various continent namely Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, North America and Oceania in years 1950, 2000 and also predicted future situation of year 2050 in percentage.

    Overall, it seems world population has gradually increased from year 1950 to 2050, although the population of continent like Asia, Europe and North America estimated decreasing trend in year 2050 as compared to 2000.

    In year 2000, overall population has increased to 6 billion as compared to year 1950 that is 2.5 billion, as per calculation future population of year 2050 is predicted as 9 billion.

    In year 2050, residents of Africa predicted as 20% of total population which is 7% and 11% higher than year 2000 and 1950 respectively. Residents of Asia is 60% in year 2000 which 4% more than year 1950 and 1% more than year 2050. Population of Europe and North America shown gradually decreasing trend which 22%, 12%, 7% and 7%, 5%, 4% respectively. On other hand, Residents of Lathe America and Oceania is decrease in year 2000 as compared to 1950 but no change estimated in year 2050.
