In this 21st century where ‘Gender Equality’ is buzzing in every corner of the developed and developing countries, underdeveloped nations still experience a lot of discrimination between men and women. However, in this context, many individuals claim that women are less competitive than men. According to me, it is obvious that there are some biological and behavioural differences that make men more rivalrous. This essay agrees that men are naturally more competitive than women.

To begin, evolutionary pressures and the domestic roles which women play are amongst the reasons why they lose their ability to compete with men. Around the world, even in the developed sovereignties, a woman handles the domestic works majorly, also in the case of working women they manage both their home and the office together. For instance, a working mother needs to take care of her child whereas men are free from this activity. Thus, men take the opportunity and overtake women in the competition.

Additionally, women shy away from competitive environments. In many scenarios, women do not take part in the highly competitive atmosphere and feel shy to join. For example, in the top management positions across the globe, the proportion of women is very less, sometimes negligible. This also takes women behind men.

In conclusion, women face a lot of issues regarding household and health which reduce their competitive mindset but they must overcome these problems and compete with men in proper condition.

In today’s growing nation some people believe that men are more competitive than women. However, in this context there are some social disparity and misunderstandings in considering that women are less competitive in nature. This essay disagrees with the statement of men jumping the ladder with the cut throat competition given to women.

From the ancient times women have always been subjected to patriarchal society which has never given them that opportunity to flourish. That being said which in turn has benefitted the men in their workplace in terms of going up the ladder. The societal biases play a significant role where women are fighting the workplace disparity and reaching to leadership roles. Thus, this gender difference and age old belief have played a major role for the women to stay competitive.

It is observed by a scientific research that men mature later than women at a given certain age and men tend to loose their cool if they are exposed to any failures in their life. On the other hand, women are far more mature and less likely to get bogged down by difficult situations thrown at them by acting resilient and practising self development at a very tender age which in turn has given them fruitful results. For an example, we have been hearing for the past many years about women outdoing men in competitive exams and excelling with flying colours.

To conclude, women do face a lot of struggles but that has been a driving key for them to stay competitive at par with men.

People often compare the abilities of men and women and claim that women are not as competitive as men. In my opinion, women are just as competitive as men and they have proved their point in all the aspects. This essay disagrees that women are not competitive as men.

Women have already proved that they can do any job. They now work in almost every field. They even work in aviation and defence. Traditionally, these jobs were thought to be suitable for only men. Even in some patriarchal countries, women are now allowed to join the armed forces. This is a clear indication that women are capable of doing justice to whatever role they perform. Women have also proved that they can make excellent leaders. For instance, in countries like the United States of America, New Zealand and Bangladesh, women are at the top political positions. Some of the most loved and remembered politicians in history are actually women. Obviously, women are not inferior to men in any field.

Yet, a question may arise why there are not many women in research or business. In my opinion, this is not because they are not competitive. Women have certain biological and psychological duties that only they can perform. Giving birth and raising children are just some of them. Because of these reasons, many women quit their jobs and that probably explains why we do not see a lot of female researchers or business tycoons. In order to establish themselves in such fields, women have to dedicate their lives to their careers. Unlike men, this is not always possible for a woman because her other responsibilities as a daughter, wife and mother stand in the way of her career goals. However, just because women are quitting their jobs to start a family and raise kids, it does not mean that they are less competitive than men.

In conclusion, after analysing all aspects of the given situation, it is not hard to see that women are just as capable and competent as men. If there are fewer female achievers than male achievers, that is because women tend to sacrifice their careers for their families.

It is often argued that men are considered to be more competitive than women. I tend to disagree with that statement as the nature of competitiveness does not have any relation with gender.

In the past, people believed that men are good at physical activities than women. As men are considered to be a more strong creatures with more strength as compared to women. However, at present men and women are given equal opportunities in every job aspect including physical activities. For example, women are working as pilots, astronauts and making their name in the field of sport which makes them equally competitive as men. That’s why I think that gender does not play any role in terms of competitiveness.

On the other hand, I believe that women have proven their mettle in every field despite the racism they face in the working industries. Nowadays we can see that women are working in a higher post in the IT industry despite the additional household responsibility they have. For instance, In the IT industry, women are generally paid less than men still we can see many women are working IT industry and performing better than men. In this way, I think that women can work in any working field.

To conclude, I strongly believe that men and women are equally competitive in nature and we should not compare the nature of competitiveness on the basis of gender because everyone is competitive in their own field.

Men are stereotypically considered to be more competitive than women. In my opinion, though this is ostensibly true, competitiveness finds a different expression in womenfolk.

The traditional argument in favor of this claim is that men are predisposed genetically to aggressiveness, the reason being the elevated levels of testosterone hormone, as this was practiced from ancient times in proving their strength with one another and gain dominance in the society which also helped in hunting and to provide for the family. Nowadays in this fast-paced world, this fierceness is found in many ambitious men in their chosen occupation. For instance, men in sumo wrestling games are anticipated to be dominant in their arena, to afford freedom or for that matter, to get married while the low hierarchical males are trained at the stables without any privileges until they reach the leading place.

However, this ignores the fact that women simply have different channels to compete. In the past, there was a tendency to discriminate against women from expressing interests, such as in sports, being an entrepreneur, and in other determining career paths. It is now omnipresent in society to find women chasing dreams, embracing their competitive drive, and striving to achieve their goals similar to men. However, this is merely a redirection of innate desires that were already present. Not to mention, women in the older generations focused their energies on domestic matters which might not seem competitive enough, but they had to compete against each other as well to gain supremacy in society back then.

In a nutshell, despite the evolutionary evidence to support the competitiveness of males, I feel that the sexes are generally equal in this area though women express this desire more subtly. Such narrow stereotyping of both genders is often superficial.

Many person of the society believe that nature has given a wonderful sets of skills to man while other emphasis that woman are naturally more utilitarian than man. Does a man really possesses more expertise than a woman? Well, this essay will caste the glimpse on the competitive skills, a man has over the woman.

Many people advocate the supremacy of woman as compare to its counterpart man. They are mesmerized by the wonderful skill like ,multitasking, which a woman possesses. This is illustrated further by them that a woman not only have a inbuild quality to handle the household work, including nurturing of kids , but also has an extraordinary power to cop up the work pressure at office . Thus the superiority of a woman is grounded by thenm

While, on the other hand, most of the people are convinced about the precedency of man. They are agree that a man , being a natural effective creature , are more efficient than a woman. This is encapsulated further that a man is blessed with the most effective super power ‘wisdom and physical strength’ . By the help of these two super power a man can achieve any task which seems even impossible in the beginning. Thus the competitiveness of a man is established by them.

Eventually , there is no doubt about the multitasking skills of a woman , but a man has been given more skill than a woman by the nature which overweigh the woman skills, and unequivocally gives a upper hand to a man and thus the superiority of a man is underscored.

@Abhinavmohan Sir , for your evaluation please.

In today’s modern era where men and women are considered equals, there are some stereotypes that strongly believe that men are more competitive than woman, however I strongly disagree to this.

Earlier, women were never given a chance to showcase their capabilities. This happened mostly because women were uneducated and were dependent on men for everything. Nowadays, women are getting educated and even in the field of education, during competitive exams women are scoring as good as men, in-fact women are scoring more and get better ranks in medical entrance exams than men.

Apart from this, in traditional times women used to take care of household so they never got a chance to showcase their leadership skills, however, things are changing with time. Now, women are standing in elections, as a result woman are wining with a greater number of votes, and they possess a major portion in forming the government.

In addition to this, women don’t feel their competition on earth is only with men but with other women as well. If a woman is attending a party, she will dress up thinking that she should look the prettiest among all the guests. Even during the party, women keep comparing their jewellery and makeup with other women present there and feel great if they look more beautiful than their competent.

To conclude, Competition is not gender biased. Some people have competition in their blood, and it all depends on the nature of the person. The number of women winning might be less in some cases but that is mostly due to the household work and lack of opportunities.

Some opine that men are gifted and superior to women. This essay will argue how and why men seem to have an edge over women but on the other hand, it will showcase that this is an ancient thought process.

On side of the story, Men are physically and mentally robust enough which makes them more competent. As a result, they are more agile and can handle stress. Furthermore, these attributes endow them with an advantage over women in attaining the set goals. For example, Historically, if we delve into the data of quantum of successful people from various domains such as sports, science, art, business, etc, men always outweigh women. On the surface, it seems that the inherent qualities of men are certainly empowering them to be more successful.

On the other side of the story, mens’ success story over the decades undoubtedly, has been due to the fact that women have not been allowed to explore various realms due to old-fashioned customs, especially in developing countries. In the past, women were neither blessed with deserved education nor were allowed to participate in extra-curricular activities. Consequently, they couldn’t fare well in the various fields. Had women been given adequate opportunities, they would have been equally qualified to men. For instance, Nowadays, According to Forbes magazine, we see that women are equally capable to men. Hence, mens’ inherent qualities have less to do with their competency.

To summarise, this essay argued that people who think that women are inferior to men is only a wrong notion. In my viewpoint, women couldn’t compete with men in the past due to deprived opportunities rather than the inherent qualities of men. If we were to provide enough opportunities to women on par with men, they too would do wonders!

Thesis statement should preferably be in the introduction which is missing . The supporting reasons could have been discussed for your opinion in both the paragraphs followed by conclusion. Vocabulary is satisfactory but a few Grammar errors in apostrophe and punctuations are seen.

From the ancient centuries, there is a myth amongst people, that men are more competitive than women. I strongly disagree with the aforesaid statement and in the succeeding paragraphs, have put some explanation in support of my disagreement.

Firstly, every human being created by God, who is living on the earth, possesses a special skill/talent which makes them special from others in their respective fields. A person cannot be discriminated, just because of their gender, caste, or religion. There are certain examples where a woman proved aforesaid statement wrong by achieving the heights of sucess. Like ;- Ms. Pratiba Patil was the first lady (president) of India for two consecutive terms, Ms. Sonia Gandhi is leading India’s old democratic Party i.e Indian National Congress and Successful climbing on Mountain Everest by MS Kundu,

Secondly, the latest government-published data shows that the literacy rate amongst women is much higher than men. There are multiple things women start taking participates in like Combat fights, Flying fighter planes, Joining Army, leading MNC’s, Starting their own business in multiple jurisdictions and Leading Family-owned businesses. Parents have more faith in daughters in comparison to their sons, Recently, MS Nadar is appointed as chairmen of 2.3 Lakh crore worth company HCL Tech in India and the Company is achieving the highest growth under her leadership.

It is often believed that men are stereotypically more competitive than women. I completely disagree with this opinion. In this essay will discuss firstly, the role of women in the economical development and secondly, their historic participation, followed by a reasoned conclusion.

Today women are financially independent as men. They are working in various fields to support their family and hence play a virtual role in the economical development of a country. The increment in the economical growth due to the rising participation of women is evidenced by various surveys all around the world. But in some developing countries women are still not allowed to work and participate in the financial decisions.

The participation of women in shaping the history of entire world can not be ignored. By glancing at the history we come to know about many women leaders who ruled the nation and passed the laws that effect the entire country. For instance, Queen Victoria ruled England and many colonies made by her. In India Rajiya Sultan was a muslim ruler, moreover, women actively took part in the protests and revolutions. In some situations women supported their kingdom from behind that’s why their name are not in the history but their struggle was appreciated.

In conclusion, women and men are equal in every aspect. It is recommended that the government in the developing countries should pass laws for supporting women so that they can showcase their abilities.

There is a common notion that men tend to be more competitive and ambitious as compared to women.I agree to this view to some extent.

Men have innate characteristic of being competitive because of the fact that that it was developed during human evaluation when men typically had to fight for protection of themselves and their families. In ancient times when men had to take responsibility of being involved in physically challenging tasks where as women shared responsibility of taking care of household work, has deeply affected the women’s upbringing and roles of men and women even in present times. For example, some scientific studies show that presence of some type of harmones in higher levels in men than women is one of the reasons of higher dominance and competitiveness in men.

However,in 21st century there is a seismic shift in the stereotypical belief that women are not as competitive as men .Women have been able to show their mettle in various fields and are highly successful. There is a gradual decline in the traditional and strict gender-specific notions as a result women are equally competing with men in many areas like sports and managerial jobs. For example, In some surveys taken, it was highlighted that many female candidates had been able to secure top ranks in various competitive exams in past few years. They are also leading in some prestigious companies by taking up managerial roles like CEOS and managers.

In conclusion, although due to ancient patriarchal practices there had been influence on people’s mindset that women are less ambitious and competitive than men leading them to not being allowed to take up challenging roles. However, this stereotypical belief is changing as women have excelled in many competitive and challenging fields.
