On the one hand, no one can escape from the ads as they are ubiquitous whether one is sitting at home watching Commercial ads or walking on the street looking at Billboards, or traveling in a bus having a covert ad on it. It’s a human tendency is that too much of a thing can make him bored and with time, he starts ignoring it. For example, nowadays, people don’t even pick telemarketing cold call by looking at name prompt in smartphones. However, technological advancement has opened a variety of other ways to lure people with ads.
On the other hand, advertisements help people to choose, compare, decide and purchase products of different brands without even going to a physical shop. One of the main reasons, companies allots heavy budgets in marketing is to understand and identify their customer-specific market and interest group. For instance, e-commerce websites like Amazon or Flipkart are available 24 by 7 and have an option to buy items from the different categories by comparing them with other brands with easy monthly installments. Though adverts, sometimes make people spend over their budget as it tempts them to buy more than ever need.
To conclude, advertisements helps us to be up-to-date with the latest products available in the market, and it’s up to one’s wisdom to understand the need of the products displayed in advertisements and their capacity to buy and pay for them without busting out financial budget.

There is no doubt that advertisements are everywhere and sometimes, even intrusive. Many audiences believe that it entices them to purchase things while remaining are not alluring (the remaining are not allured by it). I am more inclined towards adverts (advertisements) achievement in making us in buy things.
On the one hand, no one can escape from the ads( advertisements) as they are ubiquitous whether one is sitting at home watching Commercial ads ( commercial advertisements) or walking on the street looking at Billboards ( billboards ), or traveling in a bus having a covert ad(advertisement) on it. It’s a human tendency is that too much of a thing can make him bored and with time, he starts ignoring it. For example, nowadays, people don’t even pick telemarketing cold call by looking at name prompt in smartphones. However, technological advancement has opened a variety of other ways to lure people with ads( advertisements).
On the other hand, advertisements help people to choose, compare, decide and purchase products of different brands without even going to a physical shop. One of the main reasons, companies allots (allot) heavy budgets in (for) marketing is to understand and identify their customer-specific market and interest group. For instance, e-commerce websites like Amazon or Flipkart are available 24 by 7 and have an option to buy items from the different categories by comparing them with other brands with (on) easy monthly instalments . Though adverts, sometimes make people spend over their budget as it tempts them to buy more than ever (their)need.
To conclude, advertisements helps(help) us to be up-to-date with the latest products available in the market, and it’s up to one’s wisdom to understand the need of the products displayed in advertisements and their capacity to buy and pay for them without busting out financial budget.
Instructions & Observations
1. Corrections are in bold in the essay above.
2. Use formal language ….. ads/adverts – should be advertisements
3. Be careful about the subject –verb agreement ……’ companies allot’ not allots, advertisements help ( not helps)
4. Focus on use of prepositions – allot heavy budgets for marketing , buy items on easy monthly instalments…..
Feedback:
Approach is good and task response is satisfactory. The essay is well structured with proper paragraphing and sufficient lexical resources. Errors in subject verb agreement, use of prepositions and sentence formation can be seen in the essay. Use of informal words can also be seen in some places.

This essay will look at both the views and conclude that advertising still has a significant impact on people’s buying behaviour.
To begin with, the whole concept behind advertising is either to create a demand for the new product in the market or to increase the sales of the existing product. With the help of adverts in magazines and brochures, people could make an informed decision and also get to know about the deals and offers that the company is currently offering, which gravitates them to buy things that are on huge discount. In addition to that, people who do not have much time to shop around and research, rely on advertising as they can learn about the new products. For instance, artificial intelligence powered products that can talk and play songs on voice command are seen in commercials, which attracts people and finally, they end up buying it.
However, there are people who believe that nowadays everything is being publicised, as a result of which they merely pay any attention to it. From hoardings to sponsoring events, companies tend to promote and showcase their products in every way possible, which has caused people to lose their interest in it completely.
To conclude, buying behaviour of a large number of people does get affected by advertisements, though for some people, it seldom has any significance.

A certain number of people believe that advertising easily make (makes) them purchase things, while others claim that it no longer grabs their attention as it has become so common. For instance, artificial intelligence powered products that can talk and play songs on voice command are seen in commercials, which attracts people and finally, they end up buying it.
However, there are people who believe that nowadays everything is being publicised, as a result of which they merely (hardly) pay any attention to it. From hoardings to sponsoring events, companies tend to promote and showcase their products in every way possible, which has caused people to lose their interest in it completely.
To conclude, buying behaviour of a large number of people does get affected by advertisements, though for some people, it seldom has any significance.
Observations :
1. The position taken in the introduction that advertising still has a significant impact on people’s buying behaviour has been clearly contradicted in the conclusion. The stand should remain the same throughout.
2. Merely- hardly
3. Make- makes
4. Adverts – advertisements (formal)
Feedback :
Length is appropriate, at 257 words. Ideas are connected to topic, but could be better supported with more details. The opinion is not clear and there is a clear contradiction in opinion, in the introduction and conclusion. A good number of linking words and cohesive devices have been used though there is use of some informal words like ‘adverts’ in place of advertisements. In addition some words have been used wrongly too. Subject verb agreement errors are seen though they are unnoticeable.

I am of the opinion, meanwhile, that commercials are dramatically efficient in making us acquire whatever they want us to. In <div class=”jsx-1879403401 root ” style=”box-sizing: border-box; outline: none; transition: all 300ms ease 0s; display: inline-block; position: relative; line-height: 19.2px; background: rgb(196, 237, 157);”>this</div> essay, I will explain both standpoints.
On the one hand, the advertising industry has lately grown significantly and a lot of research is made continuously in <div class=”jsx-1879403401 root ” style=”box-sizing: border-box; outline: none; transition: all 300ms ease 0s; display: inline-block; position: relative; line-height: 19.2px; background: rgb(196, 237, 157);”>this</div> field. Every trait of publicity you read, listen, watch or see, has been previously planned thoroughly, namely, the colours used, time of the day it is on, the music it has or in which particular magazine it is shown. All these features, <div class=”jsx-1879403401 root ” style=”box-sizing: border-box; outline: none; transition: all 300ms ease 0s; display: inline-block; position: relative; line-height: 19.2px; background: rgb(196, 237, 157);”>consequently</div>, target the person on the other side and make him or her undoubtedly buy a certain product. <div class=”jsx-1879403401 root ” style=”box-sizing: border-box; outline: none; transition: all 300ms ease 0s; display: inline-block; position: relative; line-height: 19.2px; background: rgb(196, 237, 157);”>For instance</div>, commercials aimed for kids have colourful images and catchy songs, making them interested in that particular toy.
<div class=”jsx-1879403401 root ” style=”box-sizing: border-box; outline: none; transition: all 300ms ease 0s; display: inline-block; position: relative; line-height: 19.2px; background: rgb(196, 237, 157);”>On the other hand</div>, we are becoming, thankfully, much more conscious of <div class=”jsx-1879403401 root ” style=”box-sizing: border-box; outline: none; transition: all 300ms ease 0s; display: inline-block; position: relative; line-height: 19.2px; background: rgb(196, 237, 157);”>this</div> power of persuasion and <div class=”jsx-1879403401 root ” style=”box-sizing: border-box; outline: none; transition: all 300ms ease 0s; display: inline-block; position: relative; line-height: 19.2px; background: rgb(196, 237, 157);”>therefore</div> we are building a shield to protect us from buying useless and nonsense stuff. Realizing that consumerism is everywhere, makes us think more conscientiously what to buy and when to buy it. <div class=”jsx-1879403401 root ” style=”box-sizing: border-box; outline: none; transition: all 300ms ease 0s; display: inline-block; position: relative; line-height: 19.2px; background: rgb(196, 237, 157);”>For example</div>, if someone has searched on the internet for a winter coat on Monday, on Tuesday, Google will show, at the side of the article you are reading, ads related to winter clothes. <div class=”jsx-1879403401 root ” style=”box-sizing: border-box; outline: none; transition: all 300ms ease 0s; display: inline-block; position: relative; line-height: 19.2px; background: rgb(196, 237, 157);”>Therefore</div>, being aware of <div class=”jsx-1879403401 root ” style=”box-sizing: border-box; outline: none; transition: all 300ms ease 0s; display: inline-block; position: relative; line-height: 19.2px; background: rgb(196, 237, 157);”>this</div>, makes us close these ads and keep on reading without paying attention to them.
In conclusion, we are becoming more and more aware of how powerful advertisements actually are and how to handle daily stimuli. <div class=”jsx-1879403401 root ” style=”box-sizing: border-box; outline: none; transition: all 300ms ease 0s; display: inline-block; position: relative; line-height: 19.2px; background: rgb(196, 237, 157);”>Nevertheless</div>, <div class=”jsx-1879403401 root ” style=”box-sizing: border-box; outline: none; transition: all 300ms ease 0s; display: inline-block; position: relative; line-height: 19.2px; background: rgb(196, 237, 157);”>this</div> industry is exponentially broadening and enhancing its strategies to increase consumerism and will continue to achieve <div class=”jsx-1879403401 root ” style=”box-sizing: border-box; outline: none; transition: all 300ms ease 0s; display: inline-block; position: relative; line-height: 19.2px; background: rgb(196, 237, 157);”>this</div> goal.

Deleted UserOctober 23, 2021 at 2:51 PMMany people are extremely influenced in buying the things after seeing advertisement, While others consider it as sham. Do advertisement really have an effect on people’s mind? Well, I am convinced that yes, they have. This essay will discuss both of the view points and will caste the glimpse on the usefulness of advertisements.
Many people of the society , outweigh the effect of advertisements out-rightly , and deny its various effect on people’s mind such as motivating them to buy the product. they illustrated further that because a person is quite educated and well aware not only about his need, but also about his purchasing power. No outside force like advertisement , can increase neither his want nor his income. So he will not buy the items by being influenced with advertisements . Thus the role of advertisement , in enticing a consumer for buying the items is chastened ruthlessly.
While, on the other hand , many people like me believe that advertisement has a profound effect on , not only on a consumer’s mind but also on their purchasing habit. this was encapsulated further that as there are a plenty of advertisement , and many out of them are certainly suits to consumer’s want and need, and accordingly they create impression upon them and leads them to buy the items of the specific brand. Therefore the supremacy of advertisement on consumer purchasing habit is underscored.
Eventually , from the above we can conclude that as advertisement are well designed , supported by pompous music and visualization , have a great impact on consumers mind. They descend in-depth of the human and thus play a vital role in their buying habits. Therefore the significance of advertisements in buying habits is proclaimed .

Deleted UserOctober 26, 2021 at 2:06 PMIt is often argued by some people that advertisements are benefecial at insisting us to buy goods, while for others promotion plays no role in purchasing things. In my opinion, advertisements are very useful and show a favourable outcome in encouraging us to buy things. This essay will discuss firstly, benefits of advertisements in informing people about new products in the market and secondly, comparison with similar products it allows; followed by a reasoned conclusion.
First of all, advertisements give a lot of information about new products that has been launched or soon to be launched in the market. Even if, people living in remote areas like hilly region or villages do not have easy access, still they could be aware of new things available. For example a US based company like Amazon, are spending huge amount of money on marketing and advertisements. Because of this initiative a majority of its products are bought in far away countries like India. I am not denying the fact that too much advertisements at times confuses people or make them resistant to a particular product.
Secondly, it is easier for a customer to compare the same type of things available in the market with advertisements. In almost every sector, range of products have cropped up and it poses quite a challenge for buyers to choose the better one. Because of advertisements and promotion, it is far easier to decide the benefits of one over the other. for instance, market is flooded with range of skin products but which one will suit a particular skin type is mostly determined by the comparison we make with the others through advertisements. Despite this, advertisements can at times be too boring and dull and can often go unnoticed by people.
In conclusion, advertisements are extremely beneficial in persuading us to buy things. It is recommended that more logical, authentic and valuable advertisements must be approved by the regulatory body.
