Immigration has become a trend rather than a necessity in today’s era. In order to survive in a new country, one either has to adopt their culture or form a small community there. Let’s look over the two approaches with viable examples.

Immigration looks very simple but actually, it requires a lot of adaptations to the new culture. For example, in India, people celebrate several festivals with family, neighbors and friends but some countries like Canada and the USA celebrate only two occasions in a year which are Christmas and Thanksgiving. To gel up with the people of other countries, we have to accept their traditions and lifestyles. Not only this, we have to learn their language of communication like people in France mostly communicate in French and this may become challenging for some individuals.

On the other hand, some migrating people end setting up a community of people of their own kind. For example, Indian Punjabi people have made their own community and live life as they used to in their hometown. Moreover, this encourages more Punjabi people to settle in Canada as they don’t feel homesick. The concept of establishing the minority community not only helps the people to adjust quickly but also new immigrants can get support very easily in case of any emergency. However, the members sometimes create unnecessary problems by standing against the government’s decisions.

I personally believe that acquiring the culture of the new country is a good option as it makes us part of that country. We should enjoy the challenges we will be facing in accepting the new lifestyles as this will bring out the better person in us.

Some scholars of our society thinks that immigrants should adopt native culture whereas other part of the our society feels that immigrant could established their own community. This essay will shed light on both aspects. Personally I feel that, migrator should adopt local culture tradition instead.

Although, People are migrating to other countries for betterment life, good education and future prospects, yet adopting native culture is equally Important. For sustainability, it is very crucial to adopt local culture so that migrators will not feel isolated from society & this will help to groom socially & mentally. Immigrant should respect & enjoy the diverse vibrant culture of that country which will help to understand local people and their culture easily. For instance, there are numbers festivals are celebrated in Canada such as Halloween, black friday and many more. So, this is the right opportunity for immigrants to get to know the neighbors & surroundings.

On other hand, initially it is very difficult for new migrants to cope up with new country, local citizens and their culture. Sometimes, on few occasions, immigrant might not be welcomed by local community which eventually creates hatred feelings against local society. As result, immigrants always try to find people and community from his original place where he feel safe and comfortable. Even though, UK is well diversified country but still citizens are resist. Due to this reason, there are hundreds of minor communities of immigrants are exist and migrators are enjoying their native culture among the small group.

To conclude on this discussion, immigrants should adopt local culture which is beneficial for sustainability & better life prospect.

There has always been an intriguing debate on the topic that whether the person migrating to another country should adopt the local traditions and customs or follow their native culture by forming a minority group. Although, I am a strong follower of idiom “when in Rome do as Romans do”, in the subsequent paragraphs, I will discuss both viewpoints.

Whenever, a person relocates to a new country, he or she gets an opportunity to learn about culture and beliefs of local people, which might be entirely different than his or her native customs. By mingling with local communities, the person increases his opportunities to land a job in new country which is a big challenge faced by most of the immigrants. In case, the person decide not to follow the local’s way of living, he or she may become isolated and his or her social life may get ruined.

On the other hand, the people who think immigrants should form minority communities, they intend to preserve their cultural traditions and language. They believe that adopting the local culture would cause a loss of the immigrants’ original language and culture. This has happened all over the world such as little India in Townhall, London and in Canada as well as China town. These tight knit communities can help each other in time of need and can also raise voice in the adverse situations such as hate crime etc.

In conclusion, I would like to reiterate that by stepping outside our homeland we get chance to witness new culture, tradition and language and we should adopt the same wholeheartedly.

Immigration as defined is moving to a new place in order to live there either as permanent residents or on work purpose. Whilst some say that moving to new location people should adopt the local culture and some others say that some distinguished communities should be formed. Personally I side for the later view.

Firstly going to new country itself has feasible opportunities to develop new way of living and explore new lifestyles. Transforming and getting to know new culture helps in getting closer to the local people and easier for getting job in hand. It also helps one to expand knowledge in areas such as their food, language and so on. Developing and inculcating new changes help us create new way as well get stability as soon as possible.

On the other hand we are honored that our traditional culture in been kept up. This has lead to forming of small minor communities which has been in many ways. With this there is room open for newer immigrants. They likely receive support of their own community members to overcome difficulties each one faces when they are new to strange environment.

To conclude both views have their own benefits but in my opinion citizens moving to other countries should build small communities to carry forward the traditional value.

In the era of globalisation people the globe are migrating from their country of birth to foreign countries for Higher education, High Incentive jobs and as well as for settling their permanently.

Each country have their own set of languages , cultures and tradition. These tradition was developed by thier ancestors over the period of thousand years and next generation are following them. Cultures are also further diversified based on people living in the region. For Example- There are some culture which was followed throughout the Canada and some of cultures are limited to specific region’s.

Immigrants who are living in foreign countries have two choices i.e 1. To follow local culture 2. To create a minority community . Following the local culture will help them in day to livings in foreign country as local people easily network with the people of the same culture . Further, it will help in making good relation at work place as people have better understanding about each as they are from similar culture background.

There are some immigrants which have become minority community in some countries. For Eg. Sikh in Canada or Pakistan However, making a separate community required strength in numbers and patience along with great leadership with vision. There are some huge problems which were faced by minority in many countries Like adverse behavior of local towards minority, Racists attack and Criminal Attacks of minority. However, if minority id united it will help to resolve the problems of their members by raising it at political levels.

In my opinion adopting the culture of foreign countries is not easy for some person as they are attached to their birth countries culture, however , as we are watching in recent days attacks on minority is rising. So it is better to opt for the local culture.
