Technology is changing so rapidly and people are glued to the technical assets they own including children devoting most of their time in front of computer games instead of basking in the sun and involving in outdoor activities.I strongly believe that playing outside is advantageous for a child’s development when compared to abysmal effects of being hooked all day playing computer games

What we do during our childhood days take us a long way in our old age because the way we train our body and mind when we are young help us tackle problems while we age.In this context, when youngsters get involved in outdoor activities, a massive amount of their energy is spent and this improves their metabolism eventually reducing the risk of developing health issues. They also start to binge on proteinaceous food their parents prepare as their energy is famished by the time they return home.Further more, it improves their stamina and provides nourishment for their physical development.

In addition to developing good physical health, the psychological wellbeing is also an important factor and children gain these benefits when they involve in team games. They understand the flavours of both success and failure which will help them to be complacent to any disturbing situation.Life skills are very important and most children attain them when they play with friends and teammates elevating their cooperation and adaptability skills.

In conclusion, outdoor activities holistically develop a child’s wellbeing.Nevertheless, it is important to strike a balance between playing outside and playing computer games considering the fast pace the world is changing and the malleability children possess.
