    The graph illustrates detailed information about the proportion of expenditure on the petrol of people from the UK and the USA among the three classes.

    Overall, it is evident that in the UK poor people spent the least amount of money on fuel & the richest spent the highest amount of their income on fuel. However, In the United States poorest section of society spent the huge proportion of their income on fuel, whereas the richest spent the least amount of their income on fuel. Moreover, In both the countries middle class people spent the intermediate amount of their income on fuel.

    In the US, they percentage of income spent on fuel by poor people increase from 4% to 5%. however there was downward trend after that . Furthermore for middle class section there was consistently downward trend observed with respect to money spent on fuel. however ,for the rich and affluent class there was rapid decline from 3.5 % to close to 2%.

    n the UK, there was a rapid increase in proportion of money spent on fuel by poor people. The percentage of income spent on fuel increased from around 0.5% to 2.5%.For the middle class people the trend rose steadily regarding money spent on fuel from around 2% to 4%.Also,for the richest section of the society the proportion of income spent on fuel moved at a steady pace initially, but it showed a drastic decline from around 3.5% to 2%.
