In today’s world it is near to impossible to keep children’s away from computers.
It’s better to start using computers from early age especially in this digital world. It give them immense opportunity to explore the world by their own unique thoughts. Moreover, it will enhance their logical & analytical skills which are essential in this competitive environment. There are lot of educational games which will keep them engage in study for longer time. Hence, they will learn lot of new things in a fun or enjoyable way.
On the other hand there are lot of disadvantages as well. In my opinion, Primary disadvantage is physical growth of the child. Humans are said to be social animals, they like to interact physically rather than virtually. Spending long hours on computer may hamper the social interaction (physical aspect). In other words, it will put a negative impact on social/public behavior of the children. Children’s may find objectionable contents over the internet if not supervised properly.
Every cloud has a silver lining and interacting with computers is no exception.
