In the modern world, a sedentary lifestyle is achieving vast acceptance even though a huge number of gyms are accessible. The major concern is an obesity caused by inactive lifestyle and perhaps solution is promoting involvement of exercise in daily life.
The major problem occurs due to sedentary lifestyle is an obesity and related disease i.e hypertension, diabetes, Spine disorder etc. A long time idle sitting at place and less doing physical activities can increase the risk of becoming overweight which eventually lead to other illness as people less burn calories and gain fat gradually. Moreover, the researchers concluded that 75% cases of backbone problem is a consequence of consent sitting or a sedentary lifestyle which invite other relevant physical problems as well.
In my view, the best solution to these problems is promoting awareness about fitness, exercise or yoga kind of activities which assist them to reduce obesity and make them more physically active or by educating people regarding the potential risk for avoiding this and benefit for the . Most of the people prefer to use vehicles instead of walking to reduce the time consumption or for their convenience. Hence promoting them to go by walk or using a cycle as safe and alternative of transportation would be an effective solution. Also, study suggest many people who are going gyms are not regular in their schedule. Thus, promoting gyms, yoga or other sports activities would increase the level of activeness. A YYC NGO organize a mini marathon running campaign in Mumbai every year to increase the awareness about obesity concerns.
In conclusion, a sedentary lifestyle causes a so many health issues, including obesity and spinal diseases. The most effective solution is to increase the level of fitness among society by advertising physical activity.
