    Dear Mr John,

I am writing to you to seek your approval for a leave of 30 days regarding some unavoidable personal emergency.

My father who has recently been shifted to Sydney from Melbourne recently is not keeping well and upon diagnostic we found he is suffering from hypertension which in result adding further more complications to his health. I want to take care of him by the time he is under treatment. As per doctor’s advice it will take almost 30 days in this process.

Meanwhile when i am not physically present here than i will keep a track of my mailbox and will keep responding to all important client’s mails. I shall also keep a track of regular productivity reports to be sent on time and work is assigned to the respective team members.

I have already given a full handover to Lisa to handle things in my absencr. Have also introduced her to a few clients online and she is happily ready to extend her support. We both will make sure the work is not getting hampered when i am not here.

Looking forward for a positive response from your end.

    Yours Sincerely

    Andrew
