It is being presumed that physical fitness of children is a duty of their parents and thus school should not squander precious time to have sports lesson as a subject of the curriculum. I completely disagree with the above statement because school can provide best facilities for sports to children and children can learn it in a more effective and corrective way.

Students can learn as many sports as they want on the school premises because most of the schools having facilities to organize a variety of games. Generally, schools have well-qualified trainers under whom supervision children can become physically and mentally fit. Regular sports keep offspring active and give them a healthy lifestyle. The more sports they do, the healthier they become in life. On the side, parents can motivate and energize them to participate in sports.

Additionally, if schools keep sports as subject students will understand sports in a promising way. They will become regular do physical activity as per schedule which would not possible in parents guidance because children could not too disciplined there. Under the guidance of a trainer, children can perform any type of sport competitively and enthusiastically. Moreover, some of the children can make sports as their career in future and would play national and international level.

To conclude, I would like to say that physical health of the children is the joint responsibility of school and parents, where the school should incorporate sports as a subject in its curriculum as it builds physical and mental fitness children and parents can encourage and motivate their children for more participation in sports.
