    Dear Sir,

    With profound regret, this letter is to seek an apology as a project was not delivered on agreed time, and thus, an important client ended the contact with our company

    I take full responsibility of what has happened. This project is crucial for our company. I worked on this project since last two months and could not able to complete it because of the shortage of time that lead to financial loss and reduce reputation in the market as well. When I started working on this, I missed the detailed planning and at the end, it resulted in losing an important client.

    I promise that would not be happen in future as I have learnt a good lesson from this incidence. I also know the importance of good project planning and I will not repeat the same in the future.

    Once again, I feel very sorry from the bottom of my heart. Please accept my apology.
