The table illustrate the distribution of world population in 1950 and 2000 and also an estimated situation in 2050. The unit is measured in percentage.

It is clearly seen from the graph that the world population in 1950 was 2.5 billion which was increased 6.0 billion in 2020. Also the estimated value for the year 2050, the world population would be 9.0 billion. One more chart which depict the world population by region and even gives the estimated value for each region. According to the chart, Asia shows the highest population in 2000 where as the population of Oceania was extremely low that is <1 %.

Asia was the only region which was having constantly increased population and there estimated population in 2050 is growing with the percentage of 59%. In 1950, Africa, Latin America and North America having almost similar population which is between 5-10%. In 2050, the estimated population is calculated that does not show many variation but some of the regions like Europe faces reduction in the number of population as compare to other regions.

Overall the conclusion is that the regions like Oceania shows similar number of population throughout which was the lowest among all. similarly Asia shows population which keep on adding.
