I am in favour of this topic because In 2003, India passed the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA), which prohibits tobacco advertisements through most forms of mass media.

Researchers and scientists said that” Even breathing in low doses of cigarette smoke can increase one’s risk of heart attack”.

When children or adolescents see someone smoking, there is a chance that they might copy him/her and start smoking. So, smoking should be banned in public places because then fewer people will copy and adopt this habit. The second advantage of banning smoking will be the protection of the environment.

I strongly believe that smoking must be banned at public places.
