During the year 2004 almost half of the people were travelling by Car to the university, however, the same no has been reduced by nearly a quarter and only 28% people took car to reach university. The reduction of the car travelers has been distributed among the four other means of transport.
The majority of people started using public transport and the share of Bus usage increased from 1/3rd in 2004 to 46% in 2009 i.e. increased by 13%. Secondly, the people started using Bicycles as well, as we can see the ratio of bicycle users has increased by 7% which was less than 1/10th in 2004 increased to 16% in 2009. There has been marginal increment in the usage of Train and walk as well these both have been increased by 1% and 2% respectively.
