Humans usually tend to focus on the happenings around their locality, while there are few groups of people who consider spending their valuable time to accustom themselves with the activities around the globe. The local news would be brought to your doorstep through word of mouth even if we refrain ourselves from it, but to be familiar with the happenings in different countries in not a piece of cake. This essay is a precise explanation on these different ideas

To begin with, citizens are usually keen on enhancing their knowledge with the news occurring in and around their locality. This is truly a necessity to update oneself with the daily activities of the countries to a basic level. Usually immense amount of time is spent on investigating on the current happenings around us. A mere overall idea would suffice the need and moreover it is impossible to voluntarily stay away from the headlines in the nation. Every single important headline passes on with the word of mouth especially in a country like India.

In the current fast-moving era to develop our knowledge on the non-local news is a compulsion. We just cannot ignore the international news as it was done during the earlier days. As one nation we would be governed by a similar set of rules, same old medical treatment, old fashioned development in the infrastructures, and how to manage during a natural calamity. For example, the forest fire in Australia that made the whole human race weep. When calamities like these reaches the citizens of another country localities tend to verify their current safety measures and improvise on areas they lack.

It is definitely an important factor to stay tuned to the activities in and around which oneself cannot force them away from on the other hand it is now a necessity to know the development, governing policies, safety measures and so on.

The high level of violence in the current generation movies tends to erupt the social peace. This is always one of the important debate that resumes when there is a some kind of violence in the society, especially when there are teens linked to the issue.

Concerns related to violence created by teens is on a higher frequency and the pictures and short films is to be blamed to provoke the tendencies for such brutal acts. Let it be from creating chaos on a public transport to joining huge networks of cyber bullying. The animal like behaviour usually does’nt pass on to the next generation through the gene, it is always inspired or obtained from an external source. This is where the so called moving pictures plays an crucial role in shaping the mentality of the human nature and as always its easy to manipulate the mind of a youngster when compared to that of a matured adult.

News involving young induviduals in crimes are almost like an everyday thing in the current society. All the crimes are executed in a cliched cinematic style, where boys throw acid bottles on the opposite gender, group assaults on weaker sections of people, High level thefts, clueless murders etc. These animal like activites require inpiration and one can find all the tricks and techniques from the cinemas of the currents era.

The only possible way I can state is to categorise the movies according to the level of exposure to violence and telecast the same to the group of people accordingly. Ofcourse there is censor boards for reginol and international movies, but the problem here is that these A-Rated contents are’nt just viewed by adults. I personally have witnessed theatres flocked with huge number of young crowd for the 18+ content. The practical solution to encounter these contents from misleading the young mind is only by forcing age restrictions and these rules and regulations must be reviewed and verified on regular basis.

The graph portrays the time spent on the television by the children, from the year 1950 to 2010, that is over six decades. The x-axis holds the years wherein the y-axis holds the hours per day. The blue non linear line displays the connection between the x and the y axis.

On the whole the time spent on the above mentioned electronic device is show to be steadily rising from the year 1950. There was a minute fall in the graph in between the years of 1960 to 1970, which very well caught up and rose to the maximum by beginning of 1980’s. the mid years if 80’s seems to have had a decent fall which later started to rise by the same decade.

The fall in time spent by the children on the idiot-box gradually commenced at the 90’s, continued falling even in the new century that is the year 2000. The reduction in time continued till the 2010, but still it was more than thrice the number of hours spent during the 1950’s.
