Dear Paras,

I am writing this letter to let you know that I and my family have moved to a big house in Bangalore. I just could not go on living in Bangalore all by myself in a single-bedroom flat.

Finally, I have convinced my family to move in with me to Bangalore as I work here. The new house is located in Koramangala near my office, which is a big relief for me as it reduces my stress of travelling from outside the city. My parents are happy because there is more space in the living room, 3 bedrooms, a big balcony and a garden outside. But, my wife is the happiest of all because she doesn’t need to do much decorating as it has been done by previous owners.

If you could find some time, why don’t you and your wife come over this weekend? We would all love to see you, and if the weather is good, we can have dinner together in our garden. I’m looking forward to seeing you soon.

Dear Prashant,

I am writing this letter to express my interest in working at our company headquarters located in Germany for a period of 6 months.

As you are aware we have started working on developing a software solution for an aircraft model at our Bangalore offshore center. I would like to travel to our company headquarters and work there to acquire detailed knowledge about the product for which we develop engineering solutions in Germany. This is essential to bridge the gap between our engineering and software team’s understanding.

In my absence, I would like Mr. Ramesh to take over my work in supporting the software team as a Lead. I have made him aware of all responsibilities of the role, so we can continue with the development during my absence.

I request you to provide your approval as I feel this plan would really help us to get the product developed as per the client’s expectations and also it would be a great help if you could get the travel and accommodation approvals from the travel team.
