I am really surprised and amused on the same time for hearing about your sudden visit to Himachal Pradesh from London. I am glad that you have managed to fetch 3 week’s long vacation from tiring schedule. Since, you are coming to my place I won’t let you stay in hotel and you will reside with me at my apartment.

As you start you journey, you should take note that coming to Himachal directly from London is not possible so you have to book your Air ticket till New Delhi. Although, flights are connected from the capital city to our state but I will recommend you to commute by bus. The reason for that is you would experience the different cities and their cultural activities. , when you reach the Bus station my home is on walking distance and I can easily receive you there.

Further, as you are coming in this month which is coldest month of the year for this region I suggest you to bring warm woolen clothes as the temperature tends to fall below freezing point. Moreover, you are staying here for more than a period of fortnight, I have planned to take you to Triund Trek, Bhagshu Waterfall, Bir-Billing Paragliding, and much more mesmerizing and breathtaking places that will rejuvenate you and make you experience the heaven on earth. Also, as I know that you are a kind of person who loves to dance and gamble and to make your nightlife worth coming to my state I have also planned a suite in Dharamshala which have North India’s finest club and casino.

I am eagerly waiting for your arrival and meeting you soon.

In recent years, technological advancement has benefited people to a great extent weather it is working or living in different parts of the world. From my prospective its advantages definitely outweighs its disadvantages.

The major problem with these developments can be seen on the youth as they have moved overseas to explore the global opportunities but it will have detrimental affect on their relation with their loved ones due to loss of personal touch with them. Although, communication through voice and video calling apps is much more easier these days but they cannot rejoice the moment which is achieved through face to face interaction. To exemplify this statement, one of my close friend is working in New York and we can just greet each other over virtual platform but we are saddened to not see each other in person.

However, alongside disadvantages I believe that we should not leave behind its benefits because they play an integral role in our lives. Firstly thanking to the evolution of mass transportation, journeys have become easier than before especially it is just a matter of time. For instance, bullet train has been invented which benefits not only to reduce the time that most people spend on travel but also help them to experience a luxurious life. Moreover, when it comes to communication masses could take advantage of such applications as Skype to communicate with anyone or even have a office meetings. Although these devices might require them to have a basic understanding, they would help people to work regardless of geographical barriers.

In conclusion, despite the fact that people could face minor problems related to advanced technology communication and transportation, I think that the benefits will have a much more influence on people.

Crime is a serious problem around the globe and mostly all countries are trying their best to lower the crime rate. A section of the society believes that offenders should be penalized with longer prison duration, while others and I opine that their are other beneficial ways like educating the people and providing them resources to earn their livelihood. This essay will discuss both view points.

To begin with, there are number of believers that the criminals should be put behind the bars for longer period of time so that person who had committed the crime and others should learn that these heinous acts will make them suffer in a dreadful way that discourages them from doing so. For Instance, in UAE, the punishment of theft and murder is so severe that a lawbreaker is sentenced to lifetime imprisonment resulting in making people think twice before committing serious crime. Hence, imposing strict punishment cease people from committing crimes.

However, I agree with the set of people who believes that alternative ways of facilitating people with education and employment will help to curb this issue far more effectively. Sufficient education to all and job opportunities will make the people busy in their life in such a way that they will stay away from ill thoughts. Moreover, citizens will have some goals in life which will cut them off to enact crimes. For example, my friend who was unemployed few years ago had started snatching chains and other valuable items from people. But thereafter he started working in Government Institute and now he is a responsible citizen of society only due to his job.

In conclusion, longer prison terms certainly creates fear in the minds of potential criminals and discourage them from committing crime. However, eradicating the root cause of crime by providing education and employment opportunities is a better option.
