The diagrams here depict the structure via which electricity is generated from wave power.

The structure seems to be built on the bank of a sea. A chamber in installed over a part of sea which starts the process, with high tidal waves towards the machine, water pushes the air and chamber retains that air within the structure to push it further towards sea wall. The air enters the the machine and aids the turbine to rotate clockwise at high speed to generate electricity.

However, when air flows in opposite direction than last scenario, the column attracts and passes the air through turbine to help it to rotate in same clockwise direction to generate electricity again only for air to push the water away from chamber this time.

In both the cases, the efficient structure generates clean, environmental friendly electricity with renewable resource i.e. air, which can flow in any direction.

I believe that the arts have a prominent role in representing any country’s cultures and history. Although, expending money on it depends on government, living in democratic country we people have the right to speak our mind on the topic. Every coin has two sides and everything comes with two aspects.

In this scenario, unlike most of the people, I stand with government decision in believing that it is significant to present our prideful history to the world. Let the world slide aside for once, even our own countrymen don’t know about the rich Indian history and how different empires tumbled in different centuries, how Portuguese and then British uprising began and how it was ended by brave fighters or how the corporate India shaped itself post independence to become what it is today. Expenditure on the arts will only help the people to know what India actually is and how it has come to this point through different periods and phases.

There’s a saying that money attracts money, this quote works here as well because spending on the arts like monuments, painting and monuments for different artifacts will attract viewers from around the world. Country’s tourism will get the boost it needs to generate further money. Recently, statue of unity attracted criticism and bashing on every social media platform but people didn’t understand how beautiful the monument must be if it is attracting coverage from entire world. Yes, over half a million dollars were spent but doesn’t every income needs investment, the monument will pay for itself in long run.

So, expenditure on the arts, instead of generating heat and criticism, should gather love and praise. People need to appreciate our country’s fine history and culture and indulge in it more often. Every museum or monument attracts tourism and attention from world, so, why shouldn’t the government spend on a thing which brings media attention monetary benefits from around the globe. We just need to change the way we think and look towards the bigger picture.

The tables below provide information about sales of Fairtrade-labelled tea and pineapples in fiver European countries in 2010 and 2015.

As I see, sales of tea have grown in every country with France leading the growth chart with staggering 18.5 million increase in sales, Austria, the leading market in 2010 grew twice to reach 8 million mark and to acquire 2nd position in the market. Germany, Netherlands and Norway maintained same positions as 2010 with minimal increase in sales, Germany and Norway showed the lowest growth i.e. 0.2 million euros.

When it comes to Pineapples, Not only Austria stayed on top but tripled the sales numbers from 16 to 48 millions. In terms of growth, France showed the best to multiply sales by 3.25x and managed to grown to 6.5 from 2 millions. Netherlands also showed sales multiplication of 3 times to reach 5 million mark. Norway and Germany were countries with declined sales over the period of time with Norway declining to 2 million from 2.8 and Germany to 1.9 from 3.

Overall, both the markets gained exponential sales over the period, despite some minor setbacks.

Competition among children is a very fragile topic which can be debated upon. I believe that introducing sense of competition can either make or break a child in terms of confidence.

In my opinion, to bring the best out of children, they should be encouraged to compete, different tasks should be provided to them to access their performance and to know where they stand. If a child excels at something, he will feel even more confident than before but if the same child lags in some other task or activity than he may lose the confidence and may generate fear of competition. Another aspect to look for is the silver lining between confidence and arrogance. A child is immature, he would not know the difference between the two things and winning may incline him towards the latter one.

Good parenting is the key to guide the child in all the dilemmas. Children should be encouraged to work harder if they fail or do not win, they should be taught well to take pride in defeat as well and to comeback stronger next time. Good guiding would not let for children to fear the competition or feel inferior even after losing one. As I mentioned earlier, winning can make a child arrogant because he does not know the difference between confidence and arrogance. Good parenting which could guide the child to understand the difference will make sure that he becomes mature and confident and winning should never get on his head or in his nerves.

To conclude, I believe that children should be introduced to competitions, this would not only build the confidence but help the children to excel at various tasks at various points of their lives. But, as Stan Lee said, “with great powers come great responsibilities”, with confidence a child can get cocky as well. Parents should always keep an eye to always guide the children whether they lose or win, if they lose the confidence or gain more than enough of it. Good parenting will keep things at bay and help children shine.
