Psychologists have known for many years that colour can affect how people feel. For this reason, attention should be given to colour schemes when decorating places such as offices and hospitals. How true is this statement? (another way of writing “to what extent do you agree) How far does colour influence people’s health and capacity for work?

Psychoanalysts over a period of time have understood that colour can influence people’s thought processes. So, it is important to consider colour coding when adoring locations like offices and hospitals. I certainly believe that colour can boost one’s well being and work efficiency. Let me bolster my opinion with reasoning and examples. Finally, this essay ends with a brief opinion.

To begin with, we often see the colour code in accordance with the tasks we carry out. The colour reinforces our ability to work in an impeccable manner. For instance, doctors wear a white apron so as to maintain focus since white is an “exemplar of peace” because the undeterred focus is inevitable to carry out complex operations with surgical precision. Imagine how would the doctor feel if he were to wear a dark red apron. Thus, the white colour aids doctors in enhancing their work efficiency.

Secondly, some colours are deemed to have a healing effect owing to their impact on our mental health. Therefore, some private institutes are harnessing this concept to amlify people’s health. For example, Nowadays, we often see a green ambience in numerous yoga centres as green symbolises the power of healing. Therefore, the green colour has a synergistic effect apart from regular yoga. Hence, improving people’s health.

Overall, when colours are appropriately chosen at workplaces and mental institutes they can unequivocally enhance overall work efficiency and mental well-being respectively. This essay has agreed with the statement and justified with relevant examples and opinions.

inevitable means=something that can not be stopped from happening…..Proper word should be = imperative/pivotal

The last sentence of the first body paragraph: Imagine how the doctor would feel…

Other than that, no more things to point out….commendable use of lexical resources and sentence complexity.

Observation regarding eye soothing color combinations of Work places and health care centre’s given by experts is not an overstatement. This essay agrees to this statement to a great extent as color combinations increase productivity while working in office environment and patients recuperate fast.

Firstly, the predominant color provided by nature is green which has astonishing capabilities to heal peoples suffering from mental fatigue and physical trauma. That’s the reason most of the people in this world vacation in natural places for stress busting and expediting recovery from physical rigors. For instance, green color clothing is prevalent in hospital wards to give patients the same natural feel of experiencing the nature. Patients with cataract surgeries used to cover their eyes with same green color piece of clothes which mimics nature.

Secondly, colors exhibit and amplify certain persona’s if used judiciously. Yellow color is conducive for creativity and exuberance. Blue color portrays trust, peace, loyalty and competence and white color is known for cleanness, simplicity and integrity. For example, the modern workplaces are painted in blue and white colors which greatly enhances workplace harmony and employee’s productivity.

This essay concludes with this notion that using favorable color combinations at workplaces and hospitals have tremendous positive impact on people visiting and staying at these places for long hours. Hence, it enhances productivity at the workplace and help inmate’s in their speedy recovery.

patients recuperate fast (in hospital)…..if you don’t finish the sentence with hospital the context still attaches with office…

peoples..people (itself plural, no need to add ‘s’)

Very nice for the first attempt. Grammatical range should be improved. Some subject verb agreement focus is required.

      Lexical resources are well used.

Many places , now a days , like: offices, hospitals and many others are being adorned by the colour patches. This is, according to many psychologist, because colours have a great impact on people’s thought process. Well , Do colours really have an impression upon the thoughts ? I , my self , am very much convinced that yes, they have.

Colours , since inception, are being used to entice the people and silently motivate them to be more productive. This was illustrated further by a group of study in which a office space was painted with White colour, shaded with Pink. Upon observation of 6 months it was found that the productivity of the employee has been increased by 20 percent and the fuss, between the manager and worker has been reduced significantly. Therefore the colours therapy on human behavior is underscored.

Furthermore, Same type of improvements were encapsulated in a hospital, when the roof of the hospital was painted with White colour , having stars pasted under it, and the wall was painted, specifically by Sky-Blue colour, and the flower pots were made settle along the walls. After 6 month it was noticed that the patient , admitted to these rooms , shown 150 percent increment in recovery and that too consuming a bit less medication. Thus the colour therapy again gets ground.

Finally , Colour has an emotional effect on human being, and can motivate a person to not only improve his productivity, but also help to get rid of critical diseases. Hence , unequivocally the supreme effect of colours on human race is proclaimed.

Productivity of the employees has (no been) increased..

Flower pots were (no made) settled along the walls..

that the patient , admitted to these rooms , showed (you did not make a perfect sentence) 150 percent increment…..

Range is a little drawback here…..use of modals is absent.

Tremendous effort Mohit. you have come a long way in terms of your writing skills. I am pretty impressed.

Studies conducted by psychologists show that colours can affect the way people feel about anything. I completely agree to this statement as this is the reason places like hospitals, offices, shopping malls have a specific type of colour schemes. This essay will discuss how does colour influences people’s health and capacity for work.

Hospital is the place where a sick person’s body is treated to get better, everything there are designed in such a way which is best for human’s body. Visual sights also impacts an individual’s health and this is the reason why walls of hospitals are painted with some specific colours like green which symbolises the mother nature and freshness and, white which is the symbol of peace and reflects cleanliness. For instance, a person treated at a hospital would prefer to be in a room with life resembling colours rather than to be in a dark room with black colour all around him.

Another place where specific colour schemes are used are children’s play schools. Children loves to play with colours since different objects having different types of colours attracts their attention and makes them curious about that thing. But do colours really affect the human’s tendency to respond? Well, studies have shown that younger kids learns to read a book with full of colours and pictures rather than a monochromatic colour printed on some white paper like a novel. Moreover, that’s why books for kids are so filled with different types of vibrant colours.

I would like to conclude this essay by agreeing the above statement which is the reason why everything around us have a certain type of colour whether it is from nature or man-made.

Children Love to play with colours since different objects coloured in different shades attract their attention and make them….

Grammatical accuracy is suffering a lot specifically in subject verb agreement…..

Coherence and cohesion also needs work

      Lexical resources are insufficient.

Colour truly plays a vital role in someone’s life and decorating life with colours can make the life happening and we should consider varieties of colours around us which can help to spread positive energy. But I partially agree that colours can always keeps a happy environment.

In one hand, Colours are the most important part of our life as each colour itself has meaning towards it. For instance white colour reflects cleanliness, simplicity, innocence and Honesty, which all can be correlate with the profession of doctors at hospital as they’re very honest towards their job and at the same time their simplicity and innocence can be seen in their behaviour for the patients despite of the caste, creed and wealth.

In other hand, colours can sometime shows a painful and hard time, additionally looking at which it can betray someone extremely. Take an example, same white colour is used at funeral in hindu religion for covering the dead body on his/her last ride and people on the same day prefers wearing white to maintain a peaceful environment, which is actually a painful situation.

In conclusion I would like to mention that colours may influence someone’s health but at the same time it makes someone feel down too. Don’t you think only one colour in office wall can make us feel bored to work or we might feel sleepy? This is the reason why people need a refreshing environment by staying in a colourful interior which can always spread a good mood to work and keep us healthy.

Colours are the only thing on this planet that we cannot hear or explain, however they affect the way we feel, so said by the psychologists. I truly believe that while decorating place like offices and hospitals, colour schemes should especially be taken care off as it can directly or indirectly impact people.

When a person enters a hospital, it feels very depressing, not only because of the environment but also due to the dull colours’ hospitals are usually painted in. Undoubtedly, light colours feel calm, but it can still lead to loss in energy and at the end people tend to feel sicker even more that they are. I reckon, when I was 14, I got admitted into a hospital and the walls of my room were painted in light-blue colour and it made such an impact that even today when I come across that colour, the whole scenario crosses my mind.

Going forward, when we are visiting a place daily, for example our workplace, it should be made in such a way that the thought of going to office comes from our heart. The first company I got placed in was Wipro and when I saw the logo of the company on my offer letter it was so beautifully designed with all the seven major colours and it felt that this is company will definitely add colours to my life. Also, its office was decorated with such beautiful colour schemes that I didn’t want to go back home on my first day of work.

To conclude, even if we don’t realise, colours can really have a deep impact on us. Kids play-ways are always designed with bright and rich colours and are always considered as happy place. In the same way, if we pay attention to colour combinations while constructing offices and hospitals, it can surely have a positive impact on people visiting there.

It is established by psychologists that colors can impact people’s emotions. Therefore, hospitals and offices are expected to follow the color schemes while decorating. In this essay, we will see whether the above statement is correct or not and to what extent an individual’s working ability is determined by colorful things.

To start with, colors such as white, light green, light yellow are nature friendly and are symbols of cleanliness, healing, and warmth which affect our wellbeing and act as a stress buster. In other words, patients who are suffering from psychiatric disorders like depression and anxiety would prefer to paint the walls using soothing colors which keeps them calm and relaxed. To illustrate, hospitals have white walls for the reason most of the patients react stressed and unsettled towards bright colors when suffering, they would rather prefer low eye catching tones which will eventually change the mood. Therefore, it is quite essential to decorate hospitals that have positive effects on the patients.

Moreover, office buildings or workplaces tend to paint with shiny & bold shades as it may increase the productivity of workers and also does makes people feel energetic and encouraged with active colors. According to a recent survey, 90% of the employees voted in favor of red, orange, and blue to be included in the interior decorations instead of having dull colors like grey and yellow. In a nutshell, the capacity of the workers at the workplace upsurge with the exclusive use of colors.

To end with, colors may bring a change in the lifestyle of people as they have ample strength benefits such as soothing the mind and can also increase the effectiveness of workers.

Also does make people feel energetic…

he interior decorations instead of having (not needed) dull colors like grey and yellow…

Excellent effort, with good use of lexical resources. Sentence complexity is adequate as well. Pay tension to small grammatical errors.

Colours always have played an essential role in an individual’s life, either personal or professional. Several research and experiments have been done to find the effect of colours on people’s mood and behaviour, and the findings show that people’s feelings are influenced by colour.

To begin with, we are associated with different colours from the very start of our life. For instance, red is considered the colour of love, whereas green is usually related to freshness and prosperity. Thus our brains associate these colours with our moods and feelings. We tend to react and feel differently with the association of colours. According to different studies, a new therapy called ” colours therapy” is quite effective and uses colours to cure certain mental and physical illnesses.

From this perspective, it is essential to use soothing and accepted colours in schools, hospitals and offices. Light and soft colours in the offices will help the employees feel more at ease and improve their performances. Similarly, vibrant colours in schools will attract the children and make them more comfortable in the space. Furthermore, when a hospital is painted, colours should be taken into consideration. The paint on the walls affects the mood of the patients and their health. For instance,
bright colours can make maniac or bipolar patients more aggressive, so they should be avoided.

To conclude, colours are an inevitable part of an individual’s life, and attention should be given to colour schemes when decorating places such as offices and hospitals as they tend to influence our lives in and out.

Thesis statement is ambiguous (keep it pretty clear)

Grammatical Range needs a little bit of work. Use of modal verbs, conditional sentences.

Lexical resource could be improved as well.

Good work in terms of the sentence complexity and confidence. However the first body paragraph does not conform to the standard writing practises, the argument has been stretched quite a lot and example there’s not take enough space in the paragraph.
