The bar chart depicts the number of seals, whales and dolphins present between the year 2006 and 2018 in the Gormez straits. As it can be visualised that the highest number of these amphibians was recorded in latest year i.e. 2018.

The seals were reported to be almost 43 in year 2006. Following this year, there can be observed a drop in their number by 15 in year 2010. The year of 2014 faced a rise in their number taking the count to 35 and finally, their number outnumbered all the previous figures in year 2018,when seals were reported to be almost 45.

Coming to whales, whose highest number was recorded in year 2018 and they were least in number in year 2014. In 2006,they were seen to be 23 in number making a rise by 1 or 2 in the year 2010.

A regular pattern and a constant rise can be observed in case of dolphins. The number of doplhins rose gradually at a constant rate from year 2006 to 2018 with the highest number in latter and least in former.

The seals were reported to be almost 43 in year 2006. Following this year, there can be observed a drop ( a drop can be observed )in their number by 15 in year 2010. The year of 2014 faced ( witnessed) a rise in their number taking the count to 35 and finally, their number outnumbered all the previous figures in year 2018,when seals were reported to be almost 45.

      Observations:

Pls see the inaccuracies in bold above with corrections in the brackets.

      1. Grouping is not clear.

      2. There should be proper grouping of things showing similar trend and proper comparing and contrasting.

      3. there can be observed a drop ( a drop can be observed )in their number by 15 in year 2010

      4. latest – the last

      Feedback :

Paraphrasing and general overview are satisfactory but the grouping is unsatisfactory. Language of comparision and contrasting is insufficient as all the amphibians have been described in separate paragraphs. Incorrect sentence formation and use of words has brought ambiguity to the meaning of the sentences. There is limited use of cohesive devices.

The bar chart depicts the seal, whale, and dolphin population data in Gormez straits from 2006 to 2018. At first glance, it can be seen that the dolphin population has been rising for the past 12 years whilst, the population of seals and whales has been fluctuating from 2006 till 2018.

In 2006, the Dolphin population stood lowest, it was less than fifty percent of the seal population which was around 42. Furthermore, the difference in population for dolphin and seal population in 2010 was reduced to around 3. By 2018, the dolphin population ended up standing more than 50 thus transcending the seal population which stood near 45.

A varied trend is observed for the seal and whale population over the 12 years. Although the seal population has risen from about 42 in 2006 to 45 in 2018, significant growth of about 34 could be perceived in the dolphin population from 2006 to 2018. The whale population without much variation ranged between 20 to 30 for all years.

      1. Tense should be past throughout as the graph is in the past.

      2. In 2006, the Dolphin population stood lowest, it was ( at almost) less – In this sentence ‘it was’ is not required and should be omitted.

      Feedback:

Well attempted! The response achieves the task because the data from the bar chart is selected and summarized appropriately. Also, it can be seen that comparisons are made, which you are told to do in the rubric. The comparisons are clear from language of comparison and contrast. The summary is also well-organized. The task is well structured with good number of cohesive devices however Grammar errors especially use of incorrect tenses limits the score.

The bar chart represents the population of seals ,whales and dolphins that were prevalent in the Gormez Straits in four distinct years- 2006, 2010 2014 and 2018.Broadly speaking, the largest number of these creatures was witnessed in the final year.

Seals, which were the most abundant among the three in 2006 at nearly 42 in number ,experienced a sudden fall by about 15 in the following year with its population hitting at a value almost equal to that of whales and dolphins.Thereafter ,the number of seals increased steadily to about 45 by 2018 .

In 2006, there were approximately 25 whales in the Gormez Strait which managed to remain steady at a figure between 20 and 30 with only minor fluctuations over the period.

However, dolphins exhibited a dramatic rise in their numbers throughout the period; it started off from its lowest figure of approximately 18 in 2006 and then increased by about 34 to reach the peak in 2018.

This bar graph provides information for the population of marine animals in Gormez straits between 2006 to 2018. Overall, there is an increase in the number of these marine animals by the end of the period with minor fluctations seen for Seals and Whales.

In 2006, Seals inhibiting the Gormez strait witnessed around 42 in number. However for the year 2010 it dramatically declined to almost 25 in number which was still high than dolphins for that year. Thereafter, Seals population steadily increased seeing a growth of almost 20 in number by the end of 2018.

Whales, started at 25 in number for the year 2006 experiencing a minor growth by 2. Then it again declined and showed a sudden increase by almost a third in the year 2018.

Whereas for Dolphins it started at an all time low as compared to other two mammals but it kept growing at a steady rate reaching the highest of more than a half in 2018.

The bar graph depicts the population of inhabitants of the Gormez Straits namely Seals, Dolphins, and Whales from the year 2006 to 2018. Overall, it can be seen that the population of seals and dolphins kept on increasing at a steady rate with a slight downfall in between the 12 years.

The population of Seals in the year 2006 was the highest at around 42 and it decreased by half in the year 2010 to around 22. The population of Dolphins in the year 2006 was nearly at 18 slightly less than the population of whales but it significantly increased to 21 in the year 2010. From 2014 to 2018 the population of seals increased from about 35 in the year 2014 to around 45 in 2018 nearly a 10% increase. And the population of dolphins sharply increased from 32 in 2014 to about 52 in 2018 and it was the highest ever population recorded for dolphins throughout the years.

The population of whales showed a similar trend throughout the given period. In 2006 the population of whales was half that of seals around 23, it slightly increased to 25 in the year 2010and after a gradual decrease in the year 2014 it increased to around 28 in the year 2018.

The Bar Graph is depicting the strength of Seals Whales & Dolphins form a period of 2006 to 2018 in Gormez Straits. The Dolphins have become maximum in numbers by the end of 2018 however whales number remains almost steady throughout in the same time lap.

The Dolphins were below 20 with least numbers in 2006 But they showed a steady rise outnumbering whales around 2014 and by 2018 they overpassed Seals to attain maximum strength which is slightly above 50.

The Seals were Highest in count in 2006 , slightly more than 40. But then they showed a dramatic decline till 2010 Thereafter again experienced a positive surge crossing both whales & Dolphins in 2014 and by 2018 they reaches almost 45 which is still below Dolphins

In the meantime The Whales remained fluctuating between 20 to 30 so by the end of period they were Least in number which is slightly below 30

The bar chart illustrates the population of Seal, Whale and Dolphin in the Gormez Straits from 2006 to 2018.

Overall, the Dolphin population increased at a steady rate whilst the seal and whale numbers fluctuated over the period.

In the starting year, seal population outraced the other two then 4 years later its number plummeted and stood at 25. From the bar graph, it is clearly discernible that the three populations had come to the same range only in 2010 and stood at 25, 26 and 21 in the sequence of Seals, Whales and Dolphins. Post the 2010, Seal and Dolphin experienced a rapid surge till the end of the period while the number of whales declined and after 2014, it again started climbing up and reached its all-time highest which is nearly 29.

The Dolphin population had always been in soaring phase. Over the 12 years of observation, it increased threefold and finally touched the pinnacle at 51 in 2018.

The bar graph illustrates the population of seals, whales and dolphins in the Gormez Staits between 2006 and 2018.

Overall, it can be clearly seen that 2018 was the only year where it has highest number of seals, whales and Dolphins. Out of which, dolphins showed an increasing trend throughout the years whereas, seals and whales reflected some fluctuations.

To begin with, seals population started with good amount of hike at nearly 42 in 2006, as opposed to others. However, it fallen in the following year 2010, to almost 23 which somehow similar in numbers of whales. Surprisingly, it picked up the track again and went up constantly from 2014 to 2018 i.e., around 35 and 45 respectively. Whereas the trend for whales was more in a fluctuated way, where it showed a marginal difference of improvement between 2006 and 2018 with a difference of around 5.

Lastly, dolphin shown the highest scope of improvement starting from the beginning year till end. Among others, it was in the lowest count as about 17 in 2006, then improvised gradually by almost 22 in 2010, 32 in 2014 and topped in the last year, near to 52, which was highest among others.

The chart illustrates the quantitative data of three aquatic animals in the Gormez Straits between 2006 and 2018. Overall, it can be seen that while the amount of dolphins had significantly increased, figures of seals and whales showed a marginal rise over the period of time.

To begin, population of dolphin were slightly over fifteen in 2006, least among three at that time. A constant upward trend was seen and the number of whales rose to around fifty two by the year 2018, which was far higher than seals and whales.

Although, the quantity of seals were highest in 2006, their amount plummeted to half in four years period. The figures, then began to rise steadily finishing off at forty three, slightly higher from where the data was initially recorded. Likewise, the information on whales too showed fluctuations, although less significant than seals. The figures revealed around twenty two whales in 2006 and continued to show a slow rise till 2014, where the numbers declined to just above twenty, lowest at that time. The amount of whales then increased to an approximate of twenty eight by the year 2018.

The bar chart provides information about the population of seals, whales and dolphins in Gormez straits between the year 2006 and 2018.

Overall, dolphin experienced an upward trend throughout the period while there were some fluctuations in the number of seals and whales.

To begin with, the least number of dolphin’s population was reported in 2006 at approximately 15 which was twice lower than seals. However the figure gradually raised in the the next year but seals and whales slightly outraced the figure . A peak rise in the number was reported in 2018 which was four times higher than the initial period and twice the number of whales.

However, unlike dolphins, number of whales and seals were inconsistent. The largest number of seals were reported in 2006 at 42 which was two times and three times greater than whales and dolphins respectively. In contrast, the number considerably declined to its half in the next given year meanwhile all three showed around the same level in that year. Consecutively, population of whales was in the lowest level at approximately 21 in 2014, while seals and dolphins showed an upward trend and stood nearly at 32.The largest number of population of seals and whales were reported in 2018 at around 43 and 24 respectively which was almost similar to their population in 2006.

The given bar chart depicts the reported change in the population of seals, whales and dolphins in the Gormez Straits between 2006 to 2018.At first glance,it can be seen that the number of dolphins increased throughout the period while that of seals and whales showed fluctuations.

In 2006,the recorded population of dolphins was the lowest(around 16), it was even less than half the number of the seals reported, which was around 43.But in 2010,there was a decline in the number of seals while the dolphin population expanded a bit thereby they stood at nearly same figures of about 24 and 22 respectively. After that, population of both the species increased till 2018 ,i.e ,the end of the period ,where the reported dolphins were about 52 while this figure was roughly of 45 for seals.

The case of whales was different from the other two creatures as there were not any drastic changes in their recorded population. The number of recorded whales always lied between 20 to 30 for the entire 12 year duration.

The given bar chart depicts the population of seals, whales and dolphins in the Gormez Straits from the year 2006 to 2018 at an interval of 4 years.

Overall, there were increase in numbers of all the three sea mammals over the period of 12 years even though the numbers of seals and whales only had a slight improvement.

First of all, although seals were the largest count in 2006, that is over 40 when compared to others, their number significantly reduced to 25 four years later. Afterwards, they showed consistent improvement to reach 35 in 2014 and even more than the initial count in 2018.

Secondly, no marked variation in numbers of whale seen since, initially they were only half the number of seals in 2006 (20 numbers), with fluctuating data around the same level for the next 2 periods, before increasing to just under 30 in 2018.

On the contrary, the data of dolphins showed considerable increase over the 12 year period starting from less than 20 in 2006, rising steadily to reach approximately equal in number to seals in 2014 and to increase further in 2018.

The bar chart illustrates populations of sea animals present between 2006 and 2018 in the Gormez Straits .
Overall , seals ,whales and dolphins populations experienced an upward trend throughout the period . Seal and whale populations had some fluctuations ,while dolphin who started with less population , rose up through the years .
The number of seals started from around 40% in 2006 , being higher than whales and dolphins by approximately 20% , Then chart shows decreasing in 2010 until 2014, after being more than a third in 2014 he is hitting more than two fifth in 2018.

Percentage of whales began with 25% in 2006 and after 4 years percentage fell to around 20% , but then increased to approximately 8% in the end. Meanwhile dolphins was less than 20% in 2006 , however , the figure experienced a steady growth during the next 6 years . It rose to about more than 50% in 2018, outracing seals and whales.

From 2006 to 2008, the bar chart illustrates the number of Seals, Whales, Dolphins been recorded in the Gormez straits.

The bar chart clearly shows that there was fluctuation in the recorded population of Seals. If the reading of Seals are compared with the population of Dolphins than a consistantly increase from 24% to 52% shown in the graph from 2006 to 2018. Whales population was significantly been constant throughout the chart which was between 20% to 30%.

In 2006, Seals population was the highest 43%, if we compare it with the population of Whales and Dolphins there population lie between 15% to 25%. There was a drastic change in 2018 in which Dolphins shows the maximum population of 52% yet Whales are minimum in population.

Overall, the population of Seals and Dolphins were more in number as compare to Whales.

@falak From 2006 to 2018, the number of seals, whales, and dolphins recorded in the Gormez Straits was shown in the bar chart below.

It is observed that in the year 2006, the number of seals were 42 higher than the other two. The number of Whales were around 25 and the number of Dolphins were much less of around 17 only. In the year 2010, the figure of Seals, Whales and Dolphins were almost the same ranging from 20- 25. The digits increased for Seals and Dolphins by 10 numbers however decreased for Whales by 3 in the year 2014.

There was a dramatic increase in total from the year 2014-2018 under category of Seals and Dolphins whereas Whales only increased a little from 22 to 28. The rise of Dolphins from 32 to 51 and Seals from 35 to 45 were witnessed. In comparison, Seals have diminished from 42 in 2006 to 25 in the mid period later reaching the same heights in the year 2018. Though Dolphins started at 15 in population, it grew slowly year by year, and reached a great level around 50 in the year 2018. Compared to Dolphins and Seals, Whales maintained their numbers more or less in the same range between 20 -30 from 2006-2018.

Hi @falak mam please evaluate my answer

The given bar chart illustrates the population of Seals, Whales and Dolphins in Gomez Straits from 2006 to 2018.

Overall, the quantity of these amphibians was the highest in 2018 while it was the lowest in the year 2010.

Furthermore, it can be observed that in 2006 the quantity of Seals remained highest which was approximately more than 40, whereas in 2010 the number dramatically decreased to 24 which was the lowest among all the years, but afterwards it gradually started increasing and by the year 2018 the digit went up to 45. On the other hand, the figure for Whales fluctuated throughout the years with a slight difference.

However, the Dolphins showed a steady increase in their quantity from 2006 to 2018. In 2006, it was close to 20 and then it showed a slight increase in 2010 and went up to 22, whereas in 2014 it increased with a good margin. Further, In 2018 the quantity went to three times the number it was in 2006.

The bar chart provides information about the population data of seals, whales and dolphins in Gormez Strait from 2006 to 2018.

Overall, it can be seen that the population of dolphin has been rising for the past 12 years while the population of seals and whales were fluctuating from 2006 to 2018.

The population of seals in the year 2006 was the highest at around 42, however, for the year 2010 it dramatically declined to almost 25 in number which was still higher than dolphins in that year. But by 2018, the dolphins population ended up standing more than 50 thus outraced the population of seals which stood at 45.

In 2006, there were approximately 25 whales in the Gormez Strait which managed to remain steady at a figure between 20 & 30 with only minor fluctuations over the period.

However, dolphins figures showed a dramatic rise in their number throughout the period, it started off from its lowest size of approximately 18 in 2006 and then gradually rose above 50 to the end of the period.

    Hie @fal ma’am,

This bar graph depicts the population of sea animals in Gormez Straits from the year 2006 to 2018.

Overall, the population of dolphin increases significantly with time whereas the population of other two remain the fluctuating throughout the years.

In 2006, the presence of Seals were higher in the Gomez Strait and the population of dolphins was lowest among the three. But in 2010, we witnessed a drastic fall in the population of Seals and a slight rise in the Dolphin number. After 2010, the number of seals starts rising.

There is a drastic rise in the population of Dolphins from less than 20 in 2006 to more than 50 in 2018. The number of whales remain in the same range from year 2006 to year 2018.

the presence of Seals were (was) higher in the Gomez Strait

the number of seals starts(started) rising.

Task is under length , hence limited use of sentence structures, features has been observed.

There is wide range of adverbs and adjectives to depict the trend, try to use meticulously.

The population statistics of three diffent sea mammals in the Gormez straits between 2006 to 2018 is portrayed in the given bar graph.

Overall, it is clear that the population of all these aquatic animals increased between the years, despite some mild fluctuations in between.

As seen in the chart, in 2006, the most populated sea animal in the Straits was seals. From this peak number of 43, its population fell surprisingly to almost 25 in 2010. However, between these two year, the population of whales and dolphins saw a slight climb. when the formr’s number grew from 23 to 26, the latter’s number increased from 17 to 22.

When both the seal and dolphin population swelled consistently from 2010 to 2018, the growth of the whale population was erratic between the years. During this eight-year period, the number of seals went up from 25 to 44; the volume of dolphins grew more sharply to around 52. In2018, the total number of whales in the Gormez Straits was 28, which were just 6 more than in 2014.
