It is frequently debated about including growing veggies and animal care as a part of children’s curriculum and personal development. This essay will look at the benefits as well as the drawbacks of cultivating crops and keeping cattle.

The key benefit of incorporating vegetable gardening and cattle raising will provide youngsters a greater sense of responsibility, experience and perseverance. This will allow learners develop empathy towards farmers and teach them the importance of hard labour. Furthermore, by learning how to grow your own food will help them to make smarter and better food choices. As a result, it will lead to a healthier, smarter and independent society in the future.

Despite the benefits, focusing on farming and animal husbandry has problems too. The biggest issue is the risk to health. Using different chemicals, insecticides, and pesticides while learning might cause many allergic reactions. Engaging in this too much will also cause them to lose interest in academics. In addition to this, taking care of animals is a difficult duty, since most kids are not aware that certain animals can spread a variety of diseases if not given the right care. For example, lately, ringworms and hookworms have been two of the most common infections spread by animals, having a devastating impact in a variety of nations.

To summarize, I believe that the downsides exceed the benefits. Rearing cattle and farming will teach them a great deal about personal growth and experiences however the exposure of high toxic chemicals is hazardous and can put their lives at risks.

There are many school children who have no idea about how vegetables are grown and how animals are kept, for which many people suggest that primary kids should be taught these necessary skills. This essay will examine the advantages and disadvantages of both views and provide a logical conclusion.

The two main advantages of teaching children these skills are realizing kids learn the importance of food, and animals and not wasting them necessarily. Youngsters will have an attachment to nature when growing food and taking care of animals. They will not only get habitual to eat healthy and fresh fruits and vegetables but they will also increase their awareness of not wasting food.

However, there are some parents who have concerns for the health of their little ones as there is a chance that may encounter pesticides that might get dirty in the soil. Another issue is regarding the security of children because they can easily irritate the animals and get involved in fights with them. Some people also think there is no return on investment in teaching children to grow vegetables and keep animals, therefore they do see it as an important skill.

To conclude, although some kids can have certain negative effects like exposure to pesticides and dust, it can be taken care of by maintaining good hygiene and precautions. I believe that this skill is highly underestimated and every child must go through training regarding farming.

Occasionally people propose primary school children should acquire skills to cultivate vegetables and keeping pets. Food is a fundamental and basic requirement of human life for survival.I accept that its necessary technique that all children must learn because kids will become more responsible by taking care of plants and pets by taking ownership. They are both merits and demerits associated with this topic will discuss in detail below.

Firstly the benefit of knowledge which will have tremendous impact. To explain,if the primary level children show their interest in growing vegetables, perhaps they learn about the growing different varieties of vegetables along with the availability of essential vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients present in them. As a result, it will lead to better health standards. For example, the vegetables such as carrots, cucumber, and cabbage, which are considered to be the best source of vitamins can be grown in home as they are convenient to maintain and play a significant role in the life of children because of keeping them healthy. Moreover, while spending time with the animals, children come to know the value of love and honesty because most of the animals are very loyal and loving in nature. Research published by famous scholar H. Kimball suggests having pets like dogs prevents home from burglary and pets can help in managing loneliness and depression by giving us companionship.

Despite the benefits, giving thought to growing vegetables and keeping animals has some disadvantages as well. The primary concern is the rise in health problems. To elaborate, although growing vegetables, is required to be done under supervision or guidance as kids are not aware about the health impact while mixing soil and seeds some of the fertilisers including pesticides that are present in the soil which is harmful or allergetic to kids.whereby children can be exposed threat on their skin such as rashes, itching, and redness. Apart from this, maintaining some pets at home would be an uphill task especially for children because some pets animals may carry contagious diseases like rabies ,germs etc which can be easily transmitted to kids and may cause illness.

In conclusion, though some tangible benefits involved with this approach of schoolchildren learning how to grow vegetables and keep animals.Especially the knowledge as well as the sense of love and loyalty. It has more adverse effects because of rising health issues among children.

Raising plants for food and taking care of pets at times can help small school children to learn life essential skills. While this teach them sense of responsibility and bonding with animals, sometimes it can impact their health due to the harmful chemicals present in the soil and further pets may harm them if too much agitated.

It is very important to understand as a young person that how and from where we get the food, what it takes to grow the vegetables we eat every day. If as a young person they know the effort and time required to grow plants, then they will be more responsible in consuming the end product. Secondly, bonding with a different species such as dog or cat can make young ones compassionate towards them from early age therefore they will be more caring towards everyone.

However, gardening comes with its own risks such as hazardous ingredients in topsoil can impact the health of the children. Unless the soil used for plantation is organic, it may contain chemicals such as urea, phosphorous, sulphur which are dangerous not only for the skin but also for the eyes. Threats are also associated in keeping pets for example pet may infect adolescent or may bite if not supervised carefully.

In the end, I would recommend that schools should start planning to introduce plantation methods and taking care of pets at the young age. Although it appears to be a straight forward task, we must ensure the health and safety of kids while doing so.

The idea of primary schoolchildren learning how to grow vegetables and keep animals as part of their curriculum has been suggested on multiple instances. While its easy to argue about the benefits there can also be drawbacks.

One of the large number of benefits from teaching schoolchildren to grow vegetables and keep animals is that it can help them gather greater understanding of main sources of food and help them develop understanding and skills related to sustainable farming. By keeping animals around they can learn to take care of them and grow an enhanced understanding of nature preservation and fellow species. Furthermore they can gather more sense of independence and possibly help them make healthier choices in future and incorporate these learning’s into their lives.

Despite the benefits, one of the main disadvantages is that school’s might find it difficult to implement these steps in their curriculum may it be because of lack of resources or space in their facilities to grow vegetables or keep animals. Furthermore it could be a hard to find teachers are specifically skilled in these areas. There can be issues related to cleanliness of the facilities and children. Another disadvantage can be lack of interest by students or health issues like allergies. considering these issues it might not be suitable for all children.

In conclusion, I believe there are disproportionately large amount of benefits in favour of teaching schoolchildren to grow vegetables and keep animals in comparison to disadvantages. Specially helping them grow an better understanding and open up to nature at a young age in today’s era where children tend to do more indoor activities.

Many discussions revolve around the contention to include vegetable farming and animal care as a part of education for young students. This essay will evaluate the positive and negative view points of teaching children about growing vegetables and animal handling.

Animals and plants are a part of our life; therefore, it is important to learn how to take care of both. It is a type of life’s essential skills. Nowadays, vegetables available in market is sprayed with harmful chemicals to preserve them for longer period of time. In this situation, it is better for us to know about growing vegetables in our kitchen garden itself. Therefore, I believe that it is a great idea to train school children about gardening so that they can take forward this knowledge for lifelong. Pets are an essential part of our psychological toolkit and a great source of comfort. Pets may also decrease stress, improve heart health, and even help children with their emotional and social skills. So, to make animals as a part of our life, it is important to learn about their handling and care at young age.

Despite of above benefits, one major drawback of teaching kids about taking care of plants and animals can be a health risk. There are increased chances of children to get infected by mishandling of plant fertilizers. Even they can get hurt by animal bite. Because of these worries, many parents do not encourage gardening and cattle farming at school. Practically, there are some other difficulties at school such as availability of space and resources for planting and pet care.

In conclusion, training about growing vegetables and taking care of animals at young age is beneficial despite of few arguments regarding health risks. In my views, advantages are more and it will definitely outweigh the disadvantages.

In this modern era, although the ratio of education has increased rapidly, children only learn theoretical education from books as per the syllabus rather than practical exercise, therefore, it is advisable to teach basic farming activities and take care of wildlife from the primary section. There are some merits and demerits that will discuss in detail with examples and sum up with a logical conclusion.

On the one hand, despite the fact child has a powerful grasping power to learn quickly, it is beneficial if they learn some necessary activities from childhood; such as, if schools teach them practically to grow any plant instead of only explain on board, they would be get connected with the nature easily. In addition, it is also possible to describe to care of species as it is also a part of our life cycle that leads to develop a humble and kindly nature of person. For instance, in 2020, the government of Sweden decided to implement practical education of environment in the school and in a result, they get success to teach their future generation about the importance of nature in human life.

On the other hand, it has also some drawbacks to doing farming and keep pets from early age, as children may be get injured during cultivation of plant due to lack of experience. Moreover, species can create trouble for them too like biting or hitting which leads to health problems. For example, lately a family had kept a dog at their home for 10 years, but in absence of parents it had bitten to their son and that child could not survive the life.

To conclude, in spite of to pay cost of accident, I believe it is necessary to get practical knowledge about the nature because it helps to understand the value of creatures and collaboration with animals which seems that advantages of learning from beginning outweigh the disadvantages.

Although the children studying at basic level ought to learn small scale farming and rearing cattle, it has numerous advantages and disadvantages. However, the disadvantages are more than the advantages. I have many reasons in support of my answer.

Firstly, many life skills interlinked with these farming techniques can be taught while growing vegetables. These smaller children are at a very tender age. Whatever they see, will be imprinted in their minds for a lifetime. They learn to empathize with the farmers who work for the whole day to earn their livelihood. Secondly, it will give these tiny toddlers a sense of achievement whenever they see their budding plants. Additionally, they will also learn the importance of working hard.

As long as these activities are done under the supervision of adults, they will not harm the children. But exposure to cattle may give a chance to contract many communicable diseases. For example, ringworms and hookworms are the most common diseases that may cause severe infections in smaller children. Moreover, exposure to chemicals such as pesticides and fertilizers have hazardous effect on well being of individuals. On one hand, the inhalation of these chemicals are dangerous to the children and on the other hand, there are various micro organisms that can cause skin related issues.

Despite the development of interpersonal relationship and cognitive skills, these farming and cattle rearing process can take a toll on these young children’s health. In my opinion, it is not advisable that the children of smaller age group should be exposed to animal rearing and vegetable farming.
