You are very disturbed by the noise coming from a restaurant opened nearby recently.

Write a letter to the restaurant manager and

    say

    What problem do you experience?

What should the management do about it?

    – Describe what you will do if the problem is not resolved

    Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to complain about the noise coming from your newly opened restaurants.

I am Mamta Gulia and I live in a housing society that is near to your restaurant. Nowadays lots of disturbance is coming from your side especially, in the night time. It is related to loud music and the nuance of some drunk people, that might create inconvenience to us. As I have a ten month old baby, it is very difficult not only for him to sleep but also for us to make him sleep with such a noise.

I would like to request you to stop playing music after 11 pm, as it is restricted to play loud music after that time. Additionally, you can install soundproof glasses whenever they are necessary. You can also make your customers aware to not create loud voices after drinking alcohol.

I hope you will consider my request and solve these problems as soon as possible. If you don’t resolve these issues, I will have to file a complaint with the nearest police station and also write a complaint letter to the local government authority.

I am looking forward to hearing from you on a positive note.

    Your’s faithfully,

    Mamta Gulia

that might create inconvenience to us. (which is creating inconvenience to us); Be assertive

Additionally, you can install soundproof glasses (to minimize the noise effect ) whenever they are necessary.

If you don’t resolve these issues, I (afraid, but ) will have to file

    Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to complain about the noise from the restaurant, that have been recently opened and is managed by you.

This your neighbor, Jose leaving adjacent to the restaurant. During night-time, when the restaurant is busy, there are a lot of loud noise coming up with sheer volume of the people. Also, the base from live music that is played is also a big issue.

This is affecting total wellbeing of people living near me, it is affecting my sleep time, so definitely have impact on my health. The kids studies and behavior are also affected by this.

Can you please sound proof the building so that sound bleeding will stop. As a quick remedy please stop live music after 10.00 pm.

If the problem is not resolved in a timely manner, a complaint will be registered with the city council, I hope the issue will be non existent very soon

    Yours Faithfully,

    Jose J Tharayil

that have (has) been recently opened

there are (is) a lot of loud noise

This is affecting total wellbeing of people living near me, it is affecting my sleep time, ( it is not only affecting my sleep time, but also affecting wellbeing of people living near me) – rearrangement of sentence is required here along with appropriate conjunction)

Can (could you please consider) you please sound proof the building – since it seems like you are suggesting solution, hence try to use modal verbs

Feedback : pay attention to subject-verb agreement and key points mentioned above . Keep writing!!

    Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to inform you that we are facing lot of inconvenience due to a loud music coming from your restaurant every day, especially during the evening hours.

Loud music starts around 7 pm every day at the restaurant and during those hours it is difficult to relax at home after a hectic day and also children are facing trouble in sleeping.

I would recommend you to limit the music volume in the restaurant or have sound proof walls or glasses so that it should not impact the nearby residents like us and people can live peacefully.

Further, if the problem not solved then we have to contact our local counsellor or magistrate that can impact you financially or restaurant can be moved out of the residential area.

I look forward for your cooperation and a resolution which can benefit us mutually.

    Yours sincerely,

    Vikas Garg

Feedback : Answer has addressed all the bullet points asked in question , however some addition of more supporting details would be appreciated to make task more coherent and logically connected, you may include some of the cohesive devices for that.
