It is indeed a fact that many parents send their wards for higher education in foreign countries for better future. Overall personality development and better job opportunities are the main advantages, whereas children disconnect from their own culture and may indulge in illegal activities due to no supervision.
Exposure to different culture and high salary jobs are the main advantages of studying in foreign land for young people. In various reputed institutions, children come from different cultures and countries and as they interact with each other they get to know about different people which overall improves their personality. Another advantage is that many big institutions help children get placement in big companies with good salaries which will overall improve their standard of living. I also did my masters from reputed college and got a job with reputed organisation.
The main disadvantages associated with studying abroad are no connection with their own culture and children may exploit the freedom given by parents and can push them to involve in wrong activities. Often the duration of the courses are of two or three years and children do not get to visit their own country and as a result, they do not feel closer to their own culture and may adopt the traditions and festivals of the foreign country. Another disadvantage is minimal or no supervision in case of unavailability of local guardian, students may get involved in illegal cases like drugs. A very bright friend of mine was not able to handle the academic pressure in US and was succumbed to drugs due to no proper guidance and help.
In conclusion, sending kids abroad for studying brings the benefits to them like personality development and high paying jobs, must be weighed against the drawbacks, like forgetting their own culture and adopting activities which may land them into trouble.

In the last decade or so , we have seen an immense increase in the number of pupils being sent abroad for education. Numerous student exchange programs have become popular amongst children, who wish to gain an international exposure in their years of growth.
There are several advantages that are related to an experience abroad. Firstly, A stint abroad exposes children to a different culture, often pushing them out of their comfort zones. This is proven to aid in their overall personality development. For instance, whilst completing my masters in the UK, I came across people from various cultures, speaking different languages, leading to drastic change in my pre-conceived notions, about living with family for the rest of our lives.
A major impact that students especially from conservative thought process experience, is the immense independence that they witness. Students who have never indulged in part-time jobs often face a lot of issues to embrace the newer environment.Since education abroad can be highly expensive, it can often put parents and children in huge financial burdens. Moreover, the uncertainty surrounding the immigration rules , could have a long-term impact on students and parents making this choice. Their is also a high possibility of children being sidetracked after witnessing a more open and accepting culture. We have seen numerous examples of immigrants who disassociate themselves from their country of origin and forgetting their roots.
To conclude, I thoroughly believe that parents should encourage children to immerse in different environments, whether it is through an education abroad or a student exchange program. But it is also important to set the correct expectations, before embarking on this journey.

Nowadays , it is becoming more and more popular for families to send their youngsters overseas for educational purposes. This trend could create benefits such as, exploring new destination and better future prospects , however, this could also cause some drawbacks like emotional distress and spending huge amount of money for a living .
To begin with , there are a lot of advantages to studying abroad . Firstly , it is an ideal period when children could meet with new peoples and get to know their traditions and cultures , by doing that it will grow communication skills . For example , many articles has shown that people who learn a new language can learn it faster thanks to communication with natives. and also, it makes them more independent and confident. Secondly, students who has degree from any reputed international university may get a good job opportunity .
On the other hand , education overseas is becoming more expensive every year . Because of that majority of parents forced to take a loan to pay educational fees . Moreover , youngsters who feel themselves homesick could face the cultural difference such as adapting to a new food or weather conditions . In addition to that, it helps in exploring the different cultures, languages, traditions consequently assist in building the strong network. For instance, my friend who used to be shy now after moving to abroad for studies has broaden his horizons and now, he boasts about his prominent knowledge, variety of cultures and myriad of friend circle from across the countries.
However, sending children to foreign countries for their education has certain drawbacks as well. Firstly, it can make some of the youngsters as home sick due to the fact that they have to miss their parents to be independent, and do all house hold chores which is an ordeal task. On one hand, many people think that going to a foreign country require a lot of capital investment due to which many parents have to burden themselves with bank loan. In addition to this many student after completing their studies are not able to find jobs which in fact degrades both mental and physical well being. For example, In some countries like Germany most of the course are available in German language and the local population only speaks German so it becomes difficult to communicate with the local population.
On the other hand, the standard of living of students increases as they have access to good quality education , excellent health facilities for them as well as for their parents. For example in countries like Australia if both children have Permanent Residency than their Parents automatically get Citizenships without any hassle which secure future of their parents as they don’t have to live far away from their kids. Other then this many students who are not able to fund their studies are given scholarships from the government and the Universities. In addition to all these student are given accommodation, groceries are at lower rates. There are many student unions and organization within the University that helps them to find jobs or fight against any type of exploitation.

In modern world, guardians prefer to send their children to the developed nation to study. There are lots of pros like international exposure, better job opportunity along with cons brain-drain, financial burden to parents and many more associated with this norm which I will discuss further.
The two main advantages of migrating adolescent to abroad for educational pursuits give them vital exposure to the culture of people from different background furthermore, they learn to cope with the difficulties themselves. Firstly, when teenagers travel to western countries alone then they get to face peculiar situation, however they act according to their experience and solve conflicts. Moreover it boosts their confidence to live in any circumstances which make them independent. Secondly, youngsters in academy get exposure to multicultural society which is beneficial for their future success. For example, students has to learn English for their studies which is an international language which helps them to work in multinational companies and get adapt to their environment better.
But going for study to abroad have its drawbacks too. On one hand, it creates scarcity of skilled student which result talent crunch in their own mother land. The development of the nation depends upon the youngsters. In addition to this, it became trend for parents to send kids for their higher education to abroad which creates enormous society pressure on others. Parents have to pay a huge amount of money for study fees and the cost of living which end up financially burden to them. Even if their children win a scholarship, the cost is still unaffordable because of the disparity among countries.
To conclude, sending children overseas for better education puts them ahead of those studying in the local area moreover, they can mature by getting far from the care of their guardians. However, the high cost and impact of cultural changes should be foregoing concerns.

In this modern era, quality education is vital for everyone. More parents are sending their children to foreign country to learn new culture and improve their world view. Studying abroad gives them prestige in their home land and give pleasure and excitement for the students when they are studying in the new place.However, staying in different culture and nation has its pros and cons
On the one hand, there are tremendous advantages to studying abroad. One evident strength is that continuing study in a foreign country broadens childrens’ horizons. When parents send their children on trips abroad for educational purposes, it is not only an ideal period to meet people from other backgrounds but also time to immerse in different jobs. In other words, teenagers can learn how to cope with their own troubles themselves by experiencing the school of hard knocks. Furthermore, if students obtain an international degree, their career prospects will be improved. It seems to be obvious that qualifications from a prestigious university hold employers’ attention.
On the other hand, spending time studying overseas also has a number of disadvantages. Firstly, students almost have to learn everything from scratch. Not to mention the language barrier, they may find it challenging to overcome cultural shocks as well as to adapt with a new environment. A great deal of overseas students have been witnessed to be upset or even depressed after actually knowing that living in a abroad country is not such plain sailing. Nowadays, educations is one of the most essential figures in peoples’ lives, therefore, many students were approved to pursue their education outside the boundary for a better opportunity a d life skills.
On the other hand, some people believe there are also some drawbacks to studying abroad. In this essay, I will explain the benefits and drawbacks of studying in international countries.
To begin with, some parents believe that their kids will thrive in a wider range of skills because they are in a multi-national environment, so they may have more connections and learn to cope with the diversity by themselves. Therefore, living in different countries allows them to enhance their living skill. For instance, I had a chance to attend a cultural Exchanged program in the United states, I experienced a culture shock during my stay, thus I need to learn the differences and put more attempts to understand the diversity.
On the country, pupils are capable to experience some disadvantages from staying a different country as well because they are from diverse backgrounds and sometimes they may lack cultural knowledge so it could lead to a culture shock issue. One of the most obvious examples in the racism issue in Americans just because of their external appearance, which , actions which resulted in aggressive actions occured. Therefore, students need to handle the risks by themselves and difficult to get assisted.
In conclusion, children will reap the benefits of studying abroad by getting wider ranges of their skill -set such as the ability to cope with the differences. Whereas, there also a vivid negative live in a different country as they may face some culture shock issue.
