Digital information has become so vital in everyone’s life in recent years that it now exists everywhere. While there are a few substantial disadvantages, I believe the advantages are superior to disadvantages.
People may become addicted to a sedentary lifestyle as a result of information technology. Because everything is available through a digital screen. Another disadvantage is that persons who use social media are more likely to suffer from mental health problems like depression and anxiety. It’s because social influencers publish everything about their lives on social media, and people compare it to their own lives and strive to emulate them. It may or may not be achievable, and as a result, people may get troubled by what they lack, which can lead to mental illness.
On the other hand, the advantages include that individuals will be able to gather a lot of knowledge if they utilise it precisely, and people from all over the world will be able to access any type of data that is valuable. Information digitization has benefited in job creation and globalisation. People in rural locations, for example, can acquire good education thanks to the availability of digital material on the internet. Another example is that several government apps are available for anyone who detects danger nearby and can alert the nearest police station with a single click. As a result, it is able to assist and save numerous lives all across the world.
Finally, the advantages are more important than the disadvantages. Despite the fact that people may be affected by excessive use of social media and are fully reliant on digital information, they will get a great deal of knowledge if they use it correctly, which will aid in evolution and lifesaving. The long term impacts have made us susceptible to lifestyle diseases such as obesity. There is also the influence of big techs who have targeted different strata of the population to push ads or monetize their free to use technology. There is also the issue of rapid spread of misinformation which at its worst may cause mob violence. Although we could find all these demerits, the rewards outweigh the risks.
Rapid growth in IT sector has boosted the appeal of service sectors. In an industrial perspective rapid development is taking place in key sectors such as automation, cloud and software services in general. This push has boosted productivity creating millions of jobs thus providing living means to a lot of people. These developments have also reflected in sectors such as defense, communication, media etc. Nowadays media is lot more accessible facilitating information and entertainment among the masses.
From all these observation it could be summarized that influence of Information technology has a constructive impact on course of humanity. We should be utilizing these to full extent however throwing a cautious eye to the problems associated with it is recommended.

In today’s world we can see infotech has been a game changer and made life much convenient and flexible. People can now easily connect with each other virtually through technology. It is very convenient to work from home through mobiles or laptops. For example, when Covid started and there was lockdown everywhere, it was very difficult to go to offices and schools, but due to such an advancement in the IT sector, we could all attend all classes and jobs sitting at our homes. Information technology has also created lot of job opportunities all over the world. As we all know unemployment is increasing continuously, due to which economy is also declining, but as information technology is a growing sector there are so many job vacancies and opportunities to lots of people.
On the other hand, there are also some disadvantages due to this sector like sedentary lifestyle of people. Our lifestyle has been changed due to the gadgets and technology around us. The dependence on IT has made us couch potatoes. Furthermore, due to sitting all times on screen, many of us do not prefer to exercise or do physical activity which is making us overweight and obese leading to so many chronic conditions and illness.
In conclusion, I would like to state that the advantages clearly overshadow the disadvantages as infotech has made our day to day life comforting. Nevertheless, there are multiple disadvantages due to the technological intervention in each and every activity we do. With the invention of the internet, we have our own virtual world that has brought people closer together than ever before. The web is a huge source for humans to share information, learn new skills, and constantly grow. It provides us with a way to enjoy the numerous sources of entertainment available online. We have started upgrading our homes and workplaces into automated systems that require minimum human effort to do tasks. Huge companies have started incorporating software systems to improve productivity and reduce manual hard work.

With all the goods, it always makes us wonder about the other side of the coin. It is a very scary place to be so dependent on such technologies. Further, automatic systems around the household had made humans physically less active. For instance, there has been an increase in people going through some kind of disorder, whether it be back pain from sitting in the same positions all day or a mental illness. Moreover, with the advancements in AI and companies excessively using such technologies, there is a massive drop in human resource requirements, and jobs are getting replaced by machines.
In conclusion, information technology brings with it a huge elevation in living standards of humans on earth, but it is very
necessary to maintain a balance, and the extent we go to with this system to
avoid all the disadvantages that also have a huge impact on our lives, and for
generations to come.Information technology has unquestionably elevated our living standards, fostering connectivity, convenience, and efficiency. Nevertheless, it is imperative that we strike a balance between the benefits and disadvantages.

In today’s world of rapid development, information technology is at paramount of every innovation and now it is changing our lives at home, work and for leisure. We will talk about the advantages it offer and also about some disadvantages resulting to its overuse.
Firstly, I would like to say that today we are surrounded by technological devices and it’s been like our integral part. Their are many advantages of information technology but couple of important positive side are namely how information is easily available on our fingertips through mobiles and computers. Also now their are many technological devices available which automates repetitive tasks. Through easy access of internet we are able to know world around us, which simplifies daily activities like online searching the place around us, online shopping, internet banking, weather information and prediction etc. Whereas some innovative technology like centralized control of lighting at home, vacuum robots, autonomous cars, etc are revolutionizing our day to day talks. So these are just to name a few but information technology is assisting us at home, office or for leisure.
That’s said, every technology has its disadvantages if not use responsibly. To name a few, it is a threat to ones privacy whereas it also makes us dependent and addicted to it. The increased reliance on digital platform raises concern about privacy and potential risk of data breaches. Whereas excessive use of technology, particularly in foam of mobile devices and social media is impacting our mental health. So it we don’t let technology take over us and responsibly use it, it can be a boon.
Striking a balance between leveraging technology advantages and addressing its drawback is essential for sustainable future. Policymaker, businesses and individuals must work together so that we can enjoy its positive aspect while addressing its challenges.
