Deleted UserOctober 5, 2021 at 7:06 PMTourism has made this world more connected towards diverse cultures and different languages around the world, however, out of the multiple languages spoken, English has become the most prominent language and the same is accepted by the masses. Succeeding paragraphs will highlight the advantages and disadvantages of having only a language in the world.
There are so many advantages of common language around the globe like Reduction in inequality difference, No language tests required for study and word abroad, Global Laws and regulation become understandable to every person, Reduction in interpretation issues. However, the main advantage of one language would be quality education accessible to the young generation of poor countries as they can also participate in the economy.
The main disadvantage of having one language would result in loss of cultural diversity around the different regions. There are thousands of languages which are used in any countries based on their religion, which will make them different from other religions. For Eg. In India, people of different religions are recognized by the language they used for communication, Like, Sikhs used Punjabi as their main language for communication.
In conclusion, I would like to highlight that, though there are many advantages of using a common language around the globe, however, this would result in a detrimental impact on the sociological environment of globe.

Deleted UserOctober 6, 2021 at 2:07 AMTourism has became one of the main sources of economy in every country. The usage of global language English is increasing gradually, rather than local language. This essay will discuss about why choosing one language is beneficial than usage of local language.
Firstly, Adopting english language as a source of communication made tourists comfortable to communicate and explore the new country. It provides a great source of economy to the country by increasing tourists. Mainly, tourists can know about the culture and heritage deeply when explained in global language.
Furthermore, it avoids misleading of tourists and by deep knowledge of local laws and instructions, illegal activities can be stopped. For instance, a person can able to know prohibited activities and regulations. Not only tourism, all other industries are getting benefited that includes trading, travel, restuarant and hotel.
However, the improvement in one language system leads to deterioration of local language and its culture. Some local people may lose their jobs and it may lead to deployment of people.
To conclude, undoubtedly English is a prominent language using worldwide. It has created opportunity and development in every field all over the world rather not only for immigration. Degradation of other language and its culture also should be considered by use of universal language and it should be included as a must language for local people along with English to avoid such circumstances.

Deleted UserOctober 18, 2021 at 6:06 PMTourism has always played a vital role in boosting economy of a nation. The development of tourism has led to the contribution of using a common language which is English. Some people believe that gradually English might become the only official language around the globe. This essay highlights the advantages and disadvantages of having one language in the world.
The major advantages of having a single language is the fulfillment of communication gap between different people and ease of migrating to different countries which ultimately can fill the skills gap. Due to having the universal language, people can communicate to each other very easily and effectively. For instance, a person from Canada travelling to India will not struggle to communicate and local population in India will also be more welcoming to such tourists. Furthermore people from India will also consider to visit Canada. Another advantage is the ease of migration between different countries. For instance, if a person highly capable and expert in his field and want to migrate to another country then language will not be a barrier for him and this also would act as a tool to fill the skill gap in a nation.
The main disadvantage of having a universal language is the adaptability and extinction of core value of a culture. Not all the people can speak English fluently and even though they might consider English as official language but to adapt it as a mother tongue, it will be a challenging task for them. For instance, a person from Russia might not be able to speak English as fluently as Russian or any other local language. Another disadvantage is core value of a culture will be extinct. For instance, language is a core part of an individual culture and if a non-native speaker of English will be imposed upon by an official language of English, then they might feel parted from their culture.
In conclusion, a single universal language is great for filling communication gap between different people that comes from different culture which belongs to different parts of world, but it will certainly depreciate the diversity of different cultures of world which is the beauty of our planet.

Deleted UserOctober 23, 2021 at 10:32 AMThe drastic progress in tourism industry throughout the world has led some individuals to believe that English will take over in coming years as the only spoken language in the world. Having one language has it benefits as well as some drawbacks attached to it which we will be discussing in length in this essay.
One major advantage would be that communication around the global will become universal. In other words, a person sitting in North pole can speak to another person in South pole without any barrier of language. This will eventually lead to a sense of unity and oneness among all humans. Other than this, different countries can come together on one global platform to discuss their concerns and assist each other to overcome them.
On the other hand, having a same world language would result in disappearance of many traditions and cultures. To elaborate, all over the world, there are more than 1000 indigenous groups which function mainly on regional dialects, forcing them to use English will be unethical as it will be tough for them to adapt to a new foreign language. Furthermore, tourism will be adversely affected since there is not much left to see and enjoy the culture of other country. For example, India is a multicultural and multilingual country, if it has a uniform tradition following one language, there is no point visiting other States for tourism. As a result, the tourism will go down and the economy of the country as well.
To conclude, English can be spoken across the globe for ease of communication and documentation of official work but emphasizing it as the only language will just lead to vanishing of many ancient regional languages and dialects. Therefore, there should be a balance in usage of languages.

Feedback : main pros and cons can be mentioned in thesis statement
other States for tourism (states, not a proper noun)
Otherwise, well-executed

Deleted UserOctober 23, 2021 at 10:45 AMAlthough the English language is considered to be the most widely spoke in tourism now a days. Some still believe that, it also the reason for diminishing of native language. Therefore, let’s discuss the advantages and disadvantages.
Firstly, because of everyone is known to English language, tourism is also considering English language as it is also a benefit and other way to attract the population. In addition, now a days, most of the world’s revenue is from tourism. For example, India is one of the most popular tourist country and we could see more number of foreigners from USA, UK, France, etc, are visiting only since India is contributing to English speaking guides throughout the vacation. Therefore, we could understand how important the English Language for tourism.
Besides, English language is becoming more prominent for tourism, especially to inflate the revenue. On the other side, people are worried due to diminishing of traditional languages. As a consequence, people have forgotten of remembering and using the native language words particularly the present and new generations. Furthermore, as the generations establish, native language should also be given priority.
To conclude, although there are advantages if English language is given high importance for tourism besides, it increases the revenue. It is also clear that decrease in native language is a disadvantage.
Thanks,
Prithvi

Deleted UserNovember 25, 2021 at 8:32 PMThe enhancement of tourism leads to the dominance of the English language globally. According to some sections of people, the English language shall only be the means of communication. This essay will present a couple of advantages and disadvantages when only one language is spoken around the world.
First and foremost, the availability of only a single language bestows us with a couple of advantages. Importantly, The presence of a single language enhances harmony and growth. Globally, if we were to have only a single language, this would lead to a diminished barrier to communication. As a result, there would be lesser discrimination across people owing to lesser cultural differences. A good illustration of this is: In the past, in India, bifurcation of two states occurred namely Chennai and Andhra Pradesh solely on the basis of language. Had we had only a single language, the states would not have divided and flourished together.
On contrary, the presence of a single language also has got its share of disadvantages such as reduced cognition and diversity. For instance, it has been scientifically proven that knowledge of multiple languages has been attributed to enhanced cognition in people which we can be deprived of with the presence of a single language. Moreover, the presence of a single language closes the realms of diverse cultures.
Taking both pros and cons into consideration, the presence of a single language imbibes a feeling of harmony and growth but on the other hand, we are deprived of higher cognition and varied culture.

Deleted UserDecember 7, 2021 at 12:49 PMNowday, tourism florised very fast because of it English become the most spoken language through out the word however ,some people thing it will become the most spoken language gradually.
There are many advantage and disadvantages of it like it is a easiest mode of communication and increase the economy of country whearas is in other way the native languages get loose their effect.
The prominent advantage to have single language is that it increase the communication all over the world for example it enhance the trade between various non-english speaking country like Vietnam and china etc.so it boost the economy of country and easy acesss is provided for different business.it also remove hesitation of tourist coming from other country as they have to speak same language.
Moreover ,there is many government who adopted English is know in good condition like their economy and people growth in international platform is good.
In addition there is many disadvantages like many country loose their native languages while making English as national language.like there is many who adopted English like Canada but loose its regional language essence.Government should work toward enhancing their own language to save their cultural integrity. Many native languages going to become the part of the history.
In Conclusion ,as there is many advantages to make English as single language as it increses the communication and break the barriers while there is many disadvantages like the native loose its importance.I think government need to stablish and protect their native languages to enhance their culture. -

Deleted UserJanuary 18, 2022 at 3:08 PMCommunication is the key to every civilization. Throughout the world, countries not only have a distinct culture but also a different language altogether. Many people argue that with the rise in international tourism, English will soon be the only language spoken worldwide while others have a firm belief that every language has its roots embedded too deep to be vanished so easily. In this essay we will discuss the benefits and drawbacks of having a single language throughout the world.
Discussing the advantages first, If we know that the same dialect can be used throughout the world, communication will become much more easier. We can travel around the globe with the knowledge of a single tongue. Moreover, understanding foreign literature would become far more easier and more pleasurable. For an instance, all the vedic Indian literature is encrypted in Sanskrit and it takes years of understanding of the vernacular to finally understand those writings. Having a single language throughout the nations will make these writings more approachable. Thus, having a single language throughout the world makes communication and understanding of historical writings an easier task.
On the contrary, there are several disadvantages of having a single dialect worldwide. Firstly, this will indirectly lead to a loss of cultural heritage. A country’s history is not only known with its stories but also with the languages they are stated in. With limited use of other languages, these histories will be lost in the dark. For example, a little is known about the Dravidian history just because its native language Tulu is not spoken by enough people. Secondly, the weaker sections of the society will not have enough resources to learn a new mother tongue. Thus, for them communication will become harder. Therefore, having one language worldwide does not seem to be a good option if we consider protecting our cultural heritage as well as prosperity for all sections of the society.
To conclude, having the same tongue worldwide can make communication easier for a majority of people who have the resources to learn it, however, the poorer class of society with limited assets can not benefit from the same.

Deleted UserJanuary 18, 2022 at 6:40 PMIn recent times due to rapid growth in tourism, the world becomes more connected. Most of the people of different countries used the English Language for communication when they are traveling to other countries. Due to excessive use by the masses, English become the most prominent language on the globe. In the succeeding paragraphs, I have mentioned advantages and disadvantages of having a single language in the world.
The main advantage of having a single language will generate equality in the education sector and will lead to the availability of quality education around the world. Also, a common language will increase the availability of skilled talent around the globe at a cheap cost and which will help in reducing income equality around nations. For Eg:- Many people in Africa are not able to get jobs in American MNC due to language adaptability. Having a single language will give them more opportunities to work in MNC’s.
Different languages in multiple countries are evolved based on the thousand-year-old traditions and religions followed in the specific region. In some countries like India, which has a population of more than 138 crore people using 120 languages, it is difficult to communicate in a single language. Also, a single language will halt the communal diversity and their beliefs towards a particular language. It is very difficult to have a single language in such a diversified world with thousand of traditions.
In conclusion, I would like to reiterate that, having one common language on the economic front will lead to growth and parity around the globe, however, the same would destroy the rich traditions of our ancestors.

In recent years, tourism industry is booming, despite the fact, the progress of tourism has put up English becoming the dominant language around the world, while others believe this can lead to extinction of native languages. This essay will discuss both the advantages and disadvantages of having a universal language.
To begin, when people have one global language, it is easy to communicate with fellow employee who reside in US, as well as for tourist’s it won’t be any hinderance for them to explore new places. Additionally, for students who want to study abroad there is no need for them to prove their language efficacy which can save their time and money besides, they can focus much on their academics. Nevertheless, if there is any skill gap internationally, worker can be easily exchanged.
However, English being the salient language in few countries like USA, Canada, Australia and UK, on top of that accents are completely different from one another not only-but also few words have different meanings according to their cultural context. Apart from these native languages can cease to end since, most countries in Asia and European continent have their own vernacular. For instance, India is a land for 28 lingos spoken and most of their cultural roots come through language.
To conclude, although having a single language has its own benefits like better communication, unchallenging switch of employees and painless access between countries, it is certain that we must preserve homegrown languages as they come with heritage.

Deleted UserMay 4, 2022 at 7:46 AMTravel and tourism has contributed to the economy and growth of many countries and made English as the widely spoken language. It is believed the English will be adopted as the only language to be spoken across the world. Will it not be beneficial for everyone? In this essay we will discuss the merits and demerits of having a single global language.
To begin with, a common global language can help us to communicate with everyone easily. Because of effective communication, there will be an upward growth in international trade. Furthermore, this will enable us to understand the various cultures that exists in the world as it will destroy all the language barriers.
On the other hand, there are some disadvantages also. Firstly, it will pose a threat to the cultures across the globe. Less use of the regional language will eventually lead to its extinction. The fun of knowing a culture is to understand the history of its language and traditions. An extinct language means a loss of a unique culture. This will ultimately lead to a decrease in tourism. Secondly, it will of great difficulty for the non-native English speakers to communicate. If every form/paper/speech will be in English, non-English speakers will not be able to contribute to it.
To conclude, even though there are advantages of having a common global language such as facilitation of international trade and understanding different cultures with ease. Some will benefit with this. But, there are bigger disadvantages like extinct cultures and difficulty in communication for native language speaker which cannot be ignored.

In this modern era, the revolution in the science and technology fields have positive impacts on the tourism sector, thereby it is argued that English is becoming a well-known language that might be accepted as a primary spoken language in the future, but it has some merits and demerits which will be explaining in the forthcoming paragraphs with examples and sum up with a logical conclusion.
The main two advantages of a common language are improvement in the relationship between the citizen of the continent, and people getting exposure to the global market. Firstly, the language is the biggest barrier between the nations, because a plethora of human prefers to speak in their local language which is more comfortable to explain their ideas, but if everyone has proficient to speak a single English language, it will break the barrier between the nation and they can deal with each other easiest way. For instance, if the Japanese are adapting the English language, then they can understand the Americans, and helping together for grow up the economy. Secondly, employees can work from any country, as presently due to lack of knowledge of local language person could not get a job in many countries. i.e., If a person wanted to work in Poland, then it is mandatory to speak and understand the polish language, otherwise, his job application is rejected by the employer.
However, a single language has some major drawbacks as a culture might be extinct from the world. Ancestors defined many rules and regulations in their own local language, so if a person doesn’t have knowledge about it, festivals and culture might be disappeared from the world, therefore it is compulsory to have knowledge about the local language. For example, all the historical books were written in their own word which is not possible to acquire without knowing profoundly.
To conclude, although one language has certain advantages like reducing the communication gaps and providing career opportunities on the international stage, it has also a negative impact on culture get extinction in the future.

Yes, Agreed. Due to the development of tourism a big revolution is being happening in each and every segment like language, business, education and so on. As always, people relay on the motion hence might think that English is the only language that is going to exist in this world. If we look at history closely everything works based on need and necessity. The need of English language is created not existed just by showcasing. Eastern countries were the economically grown, they have understood our pulse and slowly created demand, starting like matriculation. Then they have started asking any service in their local language. Reason is we were in the need of jobs and technology and they were the suppliers. This is main reason English dominating. Now look, to get the job in Chinna need to know Chinese, in Russia need to know their language. Now Indian is a growing country we itself creating jobs, growing in technology. This impacts demand and so need of English language is melting. Game might change based on demand and supply.
Coming to advantage and disadvantages of having one language.
Advantages:
1. Easy to communicate – no language barrier
2. Comfortable – Feel like comfortable and no hesitation of speaking
Disadvantage:
1. Lose their own identity – Every other language people will lose their identity, when you stop speaking in your local language. You slowly stop reading local history, spiritual and culture. So gradually you lose identity.
2. Domination – By no big use, accepting other language is almost crazy. How one can decide which language to be spoken out, because most of them speak one language, do you say that language is good language to speak? How to handpick a language, one can’t define which language to choose.
3. Beauty of the Language – If we follow one language blindly, we lose the other language’s beauty. Meaning, in English we sound same for different words like “to” “two”, not making sense. There are languages use different words for every different action and things. Additionally, few languages are connected with nature so on. So, one language can’t compete the other.
4. In the name of garden, we will be in the situation to see one unique color flower – Situation become like everyone wear same uniform from top level to bottom level, sounds not good, correct?
Conclusion – One nation cultivates different kind of grains and food, and have different food habits. Can we advise everyone to cultivate same grains, food and to follow same food habit across the country to ease supply chain?. No correct, this is where the demand and supply are taking part, in turn everyone getting many opportunities, that boost the economy. My opinion is, we can have a second language based on the need but can’t be followed as primary language.

Increase in Tourism activity show us how we need a common language to communicate and how English is solving this problem gradually. We can see advantage and disadvantage of using one language in world
The foremost advantage of using one language over multiple language is that it is very to survive at those places where other people understand you and help you in answering your queries, it attracts the other people to travel to other countries and enjoy the varieties of religions, games, monuments and many more. Like consider India, Taj Mahal is of the 7 wonders of world, and it is major spot of interest from all over the world, and also in India English is considered as the second most popular language so people from English speaking country can easily visit and enjoy the ambience of Taj mahal.
The main disadvantage of a single language is it create barriers in terms of growth of society. For example, if we only have access to one language then it is very difficult to shift to other countries in terms of job, medical etc. Also countries which only focus to one main primary language offer suffer in terms of attracting best talent to their country
In Conclusion, a single language which is universally accepted gave the benefit of improving relationships, but surely it kills the opportunities for those who is believing in one language system only

Deleted UserJuly 20, 2021 at 3:03 PMSome of the people have in their mind that English will become the only spoken language slowly and gradually with the growth of tourism as it has contributed to it becoming the most prominent language globally. Having one language will certainly aid understanding and economic growth but there will also be some drawbacks.
Having one global language will surely reap many benefits. There would be no discrimination based on language. As a result, everyone would be treated equally. There would be less chances of miscommunication which will enhance better understanding among people. For instance, an Indian can freely speak to a person in USA which will rather improve international relationship too. Speaking one language will make the person comfortable to deal with different people in several countries. Also, there would be no separate courses that people have to opt for being bilingual as it would be no longer needed. The lesser the number of languages, the more effective would be the communication.
The major disadvantages of having one language worldwide will result in the lose of native language and their mother tongue and subsequently the lose of their culture. Their native language and mother tongue will become extinct with the time. There would be no separate identity of people belonging to a particular region. This would in turn will have dire consequences on tourism industry as there would be no point of travel if everyone has same culture and language. The richness of the world civilizations comes from variety of languages.
To conclude, there are some advantages of English being the only language, but having local and regional language is must to ensure a rich world heritage for future generations. Therefore, it would be beneficial to speak one’s native language.
