I am writing this letter to inform and notify you on the false information posted about famous Meenakshi Temple in your last week magazine under article “Heritage”.

In that article, it was mentioned that the Meenakshi Temple is located at the bank of the Cauvery river and it was built by Chozha Emperor. Actually, the temple is located at the bank of River Vaigai and it was built by Pandian Emperor.

As a reader of your magazine, I initially astonished on seeing a false information published in a renowned magazine where many young readers are following the articles published in it . I believe that a magazine or a newspaper plays a major role in delivering the facts and truths to the people and especially renowned and reputed magazine like “Frontline” should pay more attention on the facts before publishing. So, I request you to repost the article in the next week publish of the magazine with the proper facts and truths.
