Education plays a vital role in our life whether it helps individuals to achieve their goals or lends a hand to improving our society. People tend to help society through the knowledge gained. In turn, education help individuals to gain knowledge, boost confidence and grow their social network which aids in achieving their goals. This essay explains both sides of education briefly.

In considering education as a tool to help our society, there are many pieces of work related to this and also help us to learn the basic moral values to improve society. Certain posts intend to improve society and help impoverished villages to ameliorate. For instance, there are central government posts related to KVK (Krishi Vigyan Kendra), where the officials themselves arrange for awareness programs for poor farmers relating to cattle or crops. Moral values like trust, charity, hospitality, etc., help in improvising one’s character which in turn helps to form a good society.

In general, the primary goal of education is to pursue higher studies, so that they could achieve materialistic goals. It also helps them to develop a social network among themselves and will have well-developed confidence. Running after higher studies may help individuals upgrade from their current position and to increase their remuneration. For example, people with master’s degrees tend to achieve higher posts and higher pay scales than people with diplomas or bachelorettes. Gaining confidence and social network through education helps them to be excellent and skillful in whatever activities they perform.

Overall, education provides a person to achieve their goals as well as to help society. In my thought, considering education as a way to achieve goals is the foremost value but through that, we also have to assist our society in our ways.

In many countries, the current global obesity epidemic rate has risen among children. The government and parents equally play a major role in sharing the responsibility. As far as I am concerned, the state has the main role, but the control is over parents.

In particular, the government has the authority to reduce the obesity rate by enacting real reforms. The state should start pressurizing new laws like an extension of physical activity hours. This will make them maintain their physical health. For instance, children spend most of their time in school. Introducing activities like daily exercises and yoga may help to stay calm and fit. Moreover, higher taxes on soft drinks, fast foods, and unhealthy products would make them circumvent healthy foods. For example, many African countries are shifting to healthy diets. Instead of buying fast food, they prefer to cook meals that are free from preservatives. This is also due to the higher cost of fast foods in developed countries.

Turning to the side of the parents, they shape their children by insisting them what to do and what to not. Firstly, parents should spend time with their children by taking them to parks, playgrounds, etc., where they could more sweat and not become stout. For example, involving children in extracurricular classes like swimming, and badminton would help them overcome obesity problems. Secondly, parents should provide children with healthy foods. Making tastier foods using healthy vegetables may want them to eat. For instance, instead of buying products with sugar, they can be made with jaggery at home.

In a nutshell, the duty should be shared by both government and parents. Since today’s children are future hope, we should concentrate more on building their health stronger. The government should start imposing strict rules and parents should serve children healthy foods.

Traffic congestion prevails as one of the major problems faced by students, working people and every other individual that tends to travel. This writing comments on causes of traffic such as poor roads, accidents and the rising population. On the other hand, solutions like proper maintenance of roads, strict surveillance, use of public transportation may sound healthy to avoid traffic congestion.

As a consequence of improper roads, accidents occur. Both are the most common reason for traffic jams. Sometimes, bad weather condition also causes traffic jams. For example, due to heavy rain during September, Delhi was lined with vehicles on the roads for hours. However, the rising population cannot be left out here. The use of private vehicles has caused a lot more traffic jams than ever.

These conditions can be improved by giving road contracts to quality builders and repairing poor ones at a timely interval. Proper drainage facilities should be ensured so that the roads don’t flood during rainy seasons. Furthermore, people should start using public transport and should tend to share vehicles among their neighbours to reduce this severe issue. For instance, rules like carpooling, providing exclusive lanes for public transport wherein to develop an idea among the public, that they may reach sooner when public transport is used.

On the whole, traffic congestion seems to be a hectic problem in this century and needs to be reduced. Let us come forward to help our community by using public transportation. The sooner we reduce it, the sooner the situation is going to be better.
