After having seen your advertisement in the local newspaper dated 21st of April, regarding the part-time job being offered by your restaurant i.e. Food Festival.

I would like to apply for the part-time job as I am already into the hospitality diploma of two years through HMV college. I have enough time after my classes which I want to utilize for earning to expense my studies.

I already had experience of one and half year in the restaurant like yours after I completed my high school. The copy of which has been attached for your reference. I can be helpful in taking order and managing the orders promptly. My leadership quality will surely be useful for managing the crowd and customer complaints as I have learned in the training provided from my institute I am studying with.

I can work from 4pm till 9pm as these are the peak hours of your work place in the weekdays and full day in the weekends. This would also add to my experiences.

To expense my studies this job would be of great help.

In today’s modern era and competitive world when everybody is in the rat race to perform well, it has become very necessary as a parent to encourage our children to be competitive. Competition is very important in life be it school exams or any individual sport. In my opinion, co-operation should be taught but it should not be at the cost of competition.

Competition at an early age provokes young ones to do more efforts which in result improves their skills and ability. If this would not be taught at the growing age, children would find it difficult when it comes to school competitions. These will help the young ones to inculcate the habit of winning and doing more hard work. They would soon realize the fact that it would not be possible to survive in the world. This will force the children to find alternative ways only to win in any competition which can be negative too. Therefore, good parenting is very necessary from the beginning.

Co-operation, on the other hand encourages children to work together as a team. This kind of environment gives a feeling of relaxation among children and as a result they may not give their best result as there is no pressure to do better than the other. The children should be taught the value of cooperation along with the competitive skills as there are many such examples wherein one has to perform in team as a whole in sports like football or hockey.

In conclusion, success would come with the competitive skills encouraged from the early age as it will help them become strong and hard worker but not leaving behind the moral values so that they excel in their life and become more independent.

No one can deny the fact the tourism industry as a whole is very beneficial and good for the economy. However, it has few negative impact on local inhabitants and the environment. I will cover both the advantages and disadvantages of tourism in this essay.

With the increasing number of tourists from all over the world has increased the number of employment for local people of that particular area. The employment, therefore has generated the revenue which is good for native people. The people felt the need to learn new foreign languages which is a part of their personality development as it will help them somewhere in their future. The hiked prices of various products and services has generated income for the people. Tourists loved handcrafted things more than the readymade ones which results in making good money for the people who are working hard to earn their livelihood.

With the emerging rise in tourism industry there are other sectors which has benefited from it like hotel industry as people spend more of money at restaurants and retail sector as people love to shop the clothes and accessories. The transport industry gets extra money out of it.

On the other hand, local infrastructure has damaged due the foreign crowd. The pollution has increased with the large number of people at the tourists destinations. The historical monuments are being spoiled. Moreover, the biggest challenge is the damage to environment caused by the litter and garbage. The Taj Mahal at Agra, India is losing its sheen due to the continous vehile pollution there. After the season is over for vacation at a particular has caused the main problem for the local commuters as the people are left with no employement which in result force them to migrate them to other places for work.

I would conclude the topic by favouring the tourism industry as it caters to the economic sustainable of the country at the end. The government should lay some environmental laws for protecting the environment which is deteriorating with the large gatherings. The more funds should be used to protect the ecology.
