The given diagrams illustrate the process of converting the different materials into cement and the preparation of concrete using cement and water.

Overall, the procedure involved for creation of cement consists of cycle of crushing, mixing and grinding of raw materials respectively, whereas the concrete used for construction undergoes phase of mixing the cement with other materials in definite proportions.

In first diagram, materials like limestone and clay are crushed together through crusher; moreover, the crushed materials are passed to the mixer where powdered items are mixed. The extracted elements are taken to a rotating heater where they are continuously heated by a rotating shaft. In the end, the excreted products are grinded perfectly on grinder along with their proper packaging in bags.

The second diagram demonstrates the stage of extracting concrete used for multiple purposes. The process includes usage of cement acquired from the first phase of process. The mixture that contains 15% cement, 10% water, 25% sand and 50% gravel is passed through a rotating instrument called as concrete mixer to acquire the final product that is concrete.

In modern world, with the advancement of technology, the life expectancy of humans has increased significantly as compared to the past; however, it has caused various problems to the society. This essay will first suggest that the major problems caused by this issue are the increasing burden on healthcare system and lack of resources as well as argue that encouragement for volunteerism for elderly care and utilization of senior citizens are the most viable solutions.

To begin with, every nation ,whether it be developed or developing is facing the crisis of scarcity of health services. Consequently in the period of pandemic this causes issue in managing the affected public, especially the old aged individuals. In addition, amidst of it a dilemma is created on public health services to either treat the old and weak or the young abled ones. Secondly, as the population of senior citizens increases, the budget that government must provide for the retirement fund along with medical care also has to be increased, thereby creating a pressure on governments.

When it comes to solutions for these problems, campaigns to encourage the voluntary involvement of people to engage in helping the prominent healthcare workers should be carried out. For instance, during the pandemic period when there is need of taking care of mildly affected elder ones , non-affected persons can contribute by helping the nurses. Furthermore, the government could take steps to resolve the issue of lack of resources. One of the ways is to extend the age of retirement. Many countries have standard age of 55 to 60 years old, which can be extended to 60 to 65 years since their senior people are still in healthy and prime condition. Therefore, it would reduce the government social welfare budget for the retired people.

In conclusion, the world has developed a lot in recent years, and has positively impacted on the average life expectancy of people. However, this positive effect has also caused a lot of problems to the society, therefore it is necessary for governments to take some action to mitigate this issue.

Nowadays, the buildings that are constructed do not resemble the old architectural features that was influenced by society’s culture ,and they look similar to each other. Although they prove to be cost friendly for their construction, they have lost its touch with the aesthetics that the olden establishments had, which is a bad thing. This essay will elaborate the reasons behind the cause of the issue and also provide conclusion with personal opinion.

To begin with, due to globalization along with proliferation of population, many tall residential, business and government properties are built by taking the budget into consideration. As a result, most of the buildings are constructed to provide tenancy for as many individuals as they can. To achieve this the designs of modern complexes are made monotonous in looks with greater emphasis of fulfilling functional requirements. For instance, the apartment in a residential complex have thin walls, less carpet area but is allocated with bathroom and bedroom as these are basic requirements of public.

In my opinion, this adoption has hampered the availability of traditional homes that were significantly present in earlier times. Firstly, the newer generation won’t be able to enjoy the unique homes that were not only aesthetically pleasing but also eco-friendly. As a matter of fact, the earlier establishments used materials like thick stones, mortar and bricks that resisted the heat and also kept the interior cool, as opposed to modern ones that use prefabricated materials like cement blocks and concrete. Consequently, many people have to use air-conditioners to keep their infrastructure ventilated as well as cool thereby increasing the global warming.

In conclusion, the adoption of modish architecture for newly-founded premises has risen and has resulted in loss of unique heritage and identity of communities. In my opinion, it is dreadful as in future we are only remained with fewer buildings of the past.

It is observed that masses tend to migrate out of their motherland for upskilling their knowledge, and in search of better opportunities. Due to this, multiple problems have emerged and solutions to it must be found as well as implemented.

To begin with, developing countries, especially South Asia, are a major source of skilled professional’s migration to developed countries. As a result, all the latest inventions and innovations in scientific as well as information technology fields now belong to these developed nations. Moreover, this has caused a brain- drain situation along with least inhouse technological progress thereby, stealing nation’s opportunity to prosper. Furthermore, nation’s economy is affected as the tax revenue from these persons is lost which in turn fuels hindrance of development of infrastructure for research. Consequently, developing countries prolong to stay behind in overall development.

In order to tackle these issues, the foremost solution is to strengthen the economic policies along with labour laws. Firstly, to retain the migrated labour, the country can spend hefty amount on developing the infrastructure required for research like setting up numerous labs with latest equipment. Although some expatriates would not come again permanently, but a collaborative approach of exchanging the education and enhancing the skills of own’s masses through their knowledge could prove to be beneficial to improve the shortage of skilled people. Furthermore, if possible, lucrative job positions should be made available to reattract these professionals especially for scientists, professors and doctors.

In conclusion, skilled professionals who have emigrated in search of better opportunities are recoverable assets who can play a part in developing opportunities at home. However, recovery requires the opening of diverse and creative conduits.

‘In adversity, lies opportunity’ is a famous phrase and also a truth that we can observe in the business. Although, it is an opinion of masses that climate has deteriorated businesses there are others who believe that it has opened doors to newer opportunities. This essay will illustrate the adverse effects and also positive outlook of environment shift.

To begin with, since industrial revolution various vehicular, aviation and arms industries are heavily relying on natural resources such as fossil fuels. As a result, global warming increased which in turn affected the working of ecosystem. In addition, ill-effects such as acid rains, floods and droughts have caused detrimental effect on agriculture which in turn harmed the organizations that are dependent on such agricultural resources. For instance, special medicines that are used to treat serious ailments which require certain plants are scarcely available due to their lack of growth. Hence, damaged atmospheric conditions have caused baneful effect to some businesses.

On the contrary, different inventions as well as innovations have emerged to tackle the global warming, thereby allowing many fresh business ventures to prosper. In particular, the automobile industry where newer companies are comping up with variety of vehicles based on electricity, hydrogen and renewable energy sources. As a result, governments of different countries are also promoting such opportunities. Therefore, some positive outcomes have been also come into light from climate change.

In conclusion, I strongly agree that climate change has brought more harm than good to businesses, despite the newer innovations of certain industries.

August 29, 2022 at 5:48 PM in reply to: Task 2 (Opinion based) : Capital Punishment

It is observed that some individuals that have committed dreadful crimes in their life have repented it and have taken actions to better their life, when provided with suitable environment as well as circumstances presented. Although, it is considered that the only thing that should be given to such individuals is the capital punishment in order to reduce the violence as well as maintain the security of lives.

This essay disagrees with that opinion and will state the reasons for it.

To begin with, in every period of time capital punishment was used to reduce crime and violence, but despite all that individuals were still able to do the heinous crimes. Firstly, every person deserves a second chance to redeem himself of his deeds. As a matter of fact, most of the criminals have chosen the path of redemption when properly rehabilitated as well as given an opportunity to live with respect again in society. Therefore, it is important to show mercy as well as provide a second chance.

On the other hand, to truly improve the security it is important to study the minds of criminals and identify the root of problem. Firstly, the police force should be trained with how to implement effective investigation as well as interrogation strategies to identify the guilty of the criminal case. But in order to do so studies of how the criminal mind works, what environment where they brought up to and were they indoctrinated, must be done to support the choice of strategy. Failing to do so, it is very easy to sentence an innocent person for the crime that he did not commit. For instance, a recent case of a person who was accused of raping a teenager was given death penalty, but due to incompetent and weak investigation it came into light that the individual was innocent whereas the guilty was someone else.

To conclude, some criminals should be considered for rehabilitation or imprisonment rather than death penalty. Furthermore, psychological as well as analytical study, if possible, of these individuals must be carried out to enhance the security force’s knowledge regarding identification of criminals.
