Requiring individuals to wear uniforms when at work in many companies and organizations has become a controversial issue in this generation. In this essay, both the advantages and disadvantages of wearing uniforms are discussed.

There are myriads of advantages to wearing the uniform. First and foremost, standardized uniform creates a sense of belonging among workers. Some might be proud to flaunt their uniform in front of the public as if it is a symbol of pride. For instance, policemen are proud to wear their uniforms as it makes them feel respected. Secondly, uniforms are a necessary and basic etiquette that provides professionalism in the sector in which a person is working and when workers are professionally dressed, they feel more confident and behave in a user-friendly manner.

However, there are some disadvantages to wearing uniforms. From the company’s point of view, it tends to increase the companies’ operational cost. But from the employee’s perspective, they tend to feel uncomfortable and left with no choice of their own for example, workers that wear coveralls have to deal with troubles during restroom breaks like when responding to a call of nature, they have to completely remove the garments. Oftentimes, uniforms cannot please the religious sentiments of all individuals. For instance, people who follow a certain religion might have to wear headgear all the time as a part of their belief may not be able to do so, which can negatively impact the employee- and the company relationship.

To conclude, in light of the aforementioned advantages and disadvantages, I feel the company policy that makes uniforms mandatory is beneficial for all the stakeholders.

People tend to have various attitudes towards unpaid community services. A vast majority of people tend to agree it should be included in high school education. Even though it has some positives, it should not be included in high school education due to various reasons.

Unpaid community services should not be made a compulsory part of the high school curriculum. First and foremost, Indian students have a very hectic curriculum and a very limited time to invest in their studies with all the tuitions, entrance coaching, etc. So if they participate in such activities it can further take up a large chunk of their time and can lead to many challenges in the academic area and they may even fail in their examinations.

Moreover, a high school student is not mature enough to handle service programs effectively. For instance, if they are involved in any kind of charity services in an orphanage, they may be asked to stay along with the inmates of the orphanage, some may not find it easy to adjust to such an environment. Consequently, they may lose interest in doing those kinds of services later on in their life. In addition, it would develop a negative attitude towards unpaid community services from the tender age. Nevertheless, I think that students should be more focused on education and should not be forced to do something that might detract them from their main target and task.

To conclude, despite some advantages, unpaid community services should not be promoted in the early stages of education.

The bar graph depicts the proportion of expenditures in million pounds on junk food items consumed by the three main income groups, high, average and low in the UK (in 1990).

Overall, the expenses on hamburgers and pizzas were high among the high and average earning families. However, fish and chips were preferred by families that earned less.

Increased consumption of hamburgers is observed in the high- and average-income earning families with 45% and 32%, respectively. For the families that earned a low income, the percentile that favored hamburgers was only 14%. Across the average income and low-income earning groups, pizza least opted with 11% and 7%, respectively.

On the other hand, pizza was the least preferred among the low-income earning people which was around 7% and in the average earning population it was slightly higher with 12%. Fish and chips consumption among the high-income groups was 16%, comparatively less than that of those who choose hamburgers and pizza.

Nowadays, humans’ longevity has dramatically improved than before. There have been two major problems to people and communities, and there are several solutions to mitigate the problems like less tax gen ad increased unemployment. This essay will discuss o the less tax generation owing to more unemployment.

With the increase in life expectancy, there are several problems associated with it. Firstly the huge burden on the taxpayers. In order to take necessary care of the senior citizens of the country, they are forced to pull more funds for medical care and pension schemes. For example, in countries like Canada, the government encourages more and more immigration due to the fact that the majority population are older people, with easier immigration policies more youngsters are attracted to the country which in turn increases the number of taxpayers.

However, it is important to tackle these issues. One of the ways by which it can be solved is by providing opportunities to the older people which requires minimal manpower. For example in countries like Japan half of its working population are above the age of 60 and all are equal earing members of their families. Another solution is setting certain laws on retirement age. Lastly, there should be more opportunities given to the young adults that can assure them benefits if they stay in the country.

In conclusion, the improvement in overall life expectancy in the world leads to certain issues for the governments and for the young individuals. Thereby, ensuring a proper set of retirement policies as well as more benefits for the young individuals can in turn help lighten the burden on the government.

Money handling is one of the most important skills that one needs to be familiar with from a very young age to survive in this highly competitive world. I completely agree with the statement as effective money managing strategies take anyone very far in life.

To begin with, children can be taught the basics of finances and investment as part of their curriculum. Students who take up science or engineering are mostly unaware of topics like budgeting, saving, the tax system of the country, etc. For instance, if we ask a finance student about the various ways of investment, they will be able to give a detailed explanation about the do’s and don’ts of investment but on the other hand, a science student may not be able to do so. Another benefit is that they will automatically acquire a healthy relationship with money and won’t be tempted to splurge on unnecessary things rather be mindful about it.

Moreover, if young people lack the ability to save their money they might in fact end up spending it all which can, in turn, lead to financial consequences in the future. For example, a study conducted by the University of Cambridge proved that a student who was able to pay their tuition fee without any aid was well-versed in how to manage their money at a young age.

To conclude, all teenagers should be taught to manage their finances well so that they will be able to handle income very efficiently throughout their lifetime.
