An advertisement is the secret sauce that most multi-national cooperatives use to lure potential customers . They particularly portray the best and most unique features of the product which undoubtedly encourages us to buy things that we do not require

The ultimate motive behind it is to maximise their sales by showcasing the products benefits. On the other hand It also introduces us to new products that may improve our lives .

It is generally claimed that advertisements are created to help visualise an unrealistic standard to live up to. They use platforms such as Instagram , Facebook and twitter, as a result the companies are able to project a gripping brand image . One time I kept receiving an advert of really appealing flavours of chocolates and that urged me to purchase more than I should have but unfortunately the flavour was nothing like I expected it to be and that’s when I came to realise that most commercials are quite deceptive !

On the contrary , there were countless instances where I was introduced to a new product which improved my life. For instance , I saw an advertisement of a new company ,which was promoting homemade breakfast drive-ins. This saved me so much time as I was able to have breakfast during the commute and it was homemade which made it a much healthier alternative.

In conclusion , Everything has its pros and cons but In my opinion , advertisements still have a more negative impact on the costumers .

The table given above provides information about sales of Fairtrade – labelled tea and pineapples in five different countries , since 2010 and displays the trends till 2015.

In the year 2010 , the sales of pineapples were 12 % higher than that of tea . However, in the year 2015 , the sales of pineapples were almost double than the sales of tea .

Over the period of five years , it can be noticed that the sales of tea as well as pineapples have increased twice as much . In the case of Norway , the sales have been stagnant however , the sales in Austria have skyrocketed . There is a striking difference between the sales in Netherland and France .

In a nutshell , the highest sales were observed in Austria and France whereas the sales in Germany and Norway are almost equal . Subsequently , the tea sales have levelled off and the sales of pineapples continue to soar .

There is no doubt that approximately fifty percent of the people aspire to work in other countries , which is made possible with the help of modern aviation and communication .

On one hand , moving so far away could bring a gap within ones relationships with their family and friends . The present-day softwares can help maintain the connection but meeting in-person is most likely to overpower the same .

However , The new environment will provide an opportunity to develop life skills . This helps us achieve an exposure which would be the right fit for holistic development ! Learning about a new language , culture , ethics and traditions of a country would expand our horizon . One such example is when I learnt that in Germany the work is emailed directly without the need for a meeting and that helped me manage my time at my current office .

Furthermore ,working in another country is also considered as adding an asset to the nation . Living with people of contrasting backgrounds teaches us to find a solution to every problem and to understand their perspective on common subjects .

Taking everything into consideration , I would argue that the advantages of this development do outweigh the disadvantages as moving to different counties would provide a better quality of life .

Many research reports suggest that the number of criminals present in our country are increasing rapidly . There are a variety of schemes that the government could implement in order to see impactful changes in the demeanour of the offenders .

In some cases people think that giving longer prison sentences would be the best way to reduce crime however the others suggest incorporating better and healthier alternatives. According to me , giving longer prison sentences could help the prisoner as it will give them the opportunity to enforce discipline and mindfulness in their life . It will also help them gain a new perspective on the viability.

long sentences would expose them to other offenders over a longer period of time which might resist the improvement of their conduct . A doubled edged sword cuts both ways ! hence ,exploring better options could possibly bring some change . They could enrol the prisoners in any sort of physical activity such as mowing the lawn, building a garden , etc . This would help them regulate their emotions while developing new skills for their future . Finding a new path would give them the motivation to work hard effectively in an ethical manner.

In conclusion , both the methods are not completely fruitful; however the focal point is to rehabilitate these people . In my view , long prison sentences should be given in extreme cases such as murder and new measures should be developed by the government to help reduce crime !
