    It is argued that advertisements promotes the buying behavior which leads to excessive shopping of unwanted things on the other hand people believe that commercials provide them with necessary information which may lead to good quality of life. This essay agrees with statement that advertisements give us the information of the goods which help us in having better life.

    Commercials acts as a bridge between the company and customer. Companies launch different products to satisfy the need, want and desire of the consumer. Commercials take the message of the new product and deliver to the end user via different mediums. Hence, this helps them to take the wise decision with their money and choose the best product from the market. Especially in the modern time where technology changing in the blink of an eye. It has become an necessity. For example, Apple launches different series of I phone every year and have launch event to educate their customers about the new change and new product.

    Advertisements are also used by different organization to address the current social issues the society is facing. Even though they meticulously connect the message with the product. But the message has a strong impact on our thinking which help us in attaining a better quality of life. For example, there was an advertisement by Whistling Wood International on eve teasing showing different girls at different scenario’s facing the uncomfortable stares from male counter parts in public areas. With a very powerful song of “see yourself, the way you are looking at me”

    In conclusion, commercials provide the details of new products which may lead to a betterment of our lives by acting as a bridge between customer and manufacturer or by addressing a social cause.

    On one hand, considering our busy lifestyle it is inevitable for everyone to rely on advertisements to buy things in order to lead a comfortable life. As a result, we must depend on advertisements so as to choose a particular product from a range of products. Consequently, saving our time and efforts. For instance: In the past, I had had sleepless nights due to mosquitos prevalent in my vicinity. As a consequence, I couldn’t concentrate on my work and personal life. Luckily, I came across an advertisement on Amazon about a retractable mosquito net and instantly ordered it which not only saved me from mosquito bites but was also convenient to use. Had I not known about the mosquito net then, through “Amazon’s advertisement” I wouldn’t have a sound sleep. Therefore, it is evident that advertisements would enhance our quality of life.

    On the other hand, there are a plethora of advertisements that coerce us to buy things that are optional. Generally, we tend to fall into the trap by a barrage of advertisements and end up buying dispensable things. For example: I get disrupted when my insatiable friends frequently replace their undamaged mobile phones owing to deceitful “Big sale” advertisements even if the mobiles have been bought recently. Indeed, it is a wasting of their money and time.

    In conclusion, while advertisements enhance comfort by marketing the reliable products it also has the nature to grip the consumers in buying optional things. Besides, it is the emotional decision that misguides us but not advertisements. Therefore, we need to meticulously choose the right product by taking a rational decision rather than an emotional one.

    Evolution in technology has provided a new dimension in the field of online marketing and advertisements. One section of people opine that, this leads to distraction and inclination towards unnecessary shopping. However, other section believe that it creates more awareness over important products. I strongly agree with the former statement. Does online advertisements are really equipped with such important product information’s? This essay will discuss further on this context and will conclude with a concrete opinion.

    To Embark on, Firstly, Online domain has become an imperative platform for marketing. To be specific, majority of the product based industries attract their customers through online networks. Typically, most of the work domain functions on online based platforms, which is used as a tool for employers to accomplish assignments and other work related operations. Owing to this approach, online marketing implement strategies to attract and distract the users towards e-shopping. For instance, people browse for some information on the websites to get some information to modulate the codes and strings for their programming, during this activity, by default there will be a pops up of some products with some arbitrary discounts, this results in the curiosity in individual mind to get these exorbitant products on cheaper rates, which leads to the purchase of the product regardless of its importance.

    On the other hand, online information is not always reliable. The information provided on social platforms is ambiguous and cannot be trusted for many reasons.     Nowadays, ads have become merely a push to make buyers purchase unwanted things. While some argue that adverts are source of information about new products and discounts. I strongly believe that ads are motivating people to buy barrage of products without the necessity. This essay will support my opinion with relevant evidences.

    Admittedly, advertisements are highly useful for companies to promote or launch their products. Therefore, these ads will only emphasis the positive aspects but not the negative sides of it, which is a disadvantage for those who procure it. For example, a very famous fabric conditioner named “comfort” went off-limits after the projection of this product by an well-established actress. Therefore, people are enticed to buy this product without any demur. Earlier days, all the wet clothes are sun dried to enhance freshness, remove odor and to kill the bacteria. Thus, by the advent of such products, people have become accustomed to trivial things and also mislead with the importance of traditional practices.

    In addition to the above point, products with lure offers is also considered as one of the important rationale for buying less useful items. For instance, if a product has been showcased with attractive offers like buy one, get one free or any gift items, then obviously many viewers will prefer to buy them with the absence of contemplation. As a result, consumers will buy this product from market without the actual need for the secondary item.

    With the advent of technology one industry that has a real impact on our lives is advertisements. Advertisements do encourage us to use effective products but at the same time it does not turns out to be that productive. I agree with the point that we tend to buy unnecessary products which we actually do not need because of these advertising markets.

    Advertising agency in the recent years have experienced a great boon because many people are now dependent on these marketing strategies to buy a product. It is abysmal that because of advertisements , many people now a days do not prefer to go outside and buy the things instead by analyzing the product quality instead they become susceptible to watch the advertisements and later order the product online. For instance , many people working in stores face a huge amount of violence from their customers because something that has been told to people on TVs, or on other mediums do not in real match with the customer’s expectations.

    Considering the fact that people now are swamped with excess work they do not get time to actually go to specific store and inquire about the product as a result of which they sometimes tend to land up in peculiar condition. It is extremely pragmatic for people now that they should not remain in dubious situation in case of buying a certain product by just following advertisements , rather they should further investigate on the quality and value which they have to owe for the particular item by either going to different stores and gathering knowledge about past experience of people having similar kind of product.

    Advertisements have become an essential part of the social media culture these days. Celebrities to social media influencers, everybody is trying to promote one brand or the other. Some people say that advertising encourages us to buy things that we do not need. Others say that advertisements tell us about new products that may improve our lives.

    Sometimes, these advertisements are over the top and encourage people to buy stuff that is not essential. For example, some famous cricketers promote “black water” these days, which they say is healthier. But this is a hoax. As tempting as it may seem, it’s not everybody’s cup of tea to buy such expensive products. And when people are not able to purchase these products, all they have is guilt and remorse.

    I agree that advertisements tend to improve our lives, but somehow, it raises people’s societal expectations. If you tend to follow some advertisements and not purchase the products promoted, you might feel left out or not going well with the trend. Fear of missing out is real in this case. I would also like to point out some misleading advertisements pushing our teenagers towards anxiety and other body image disorders. A good illustration of this is the increased purchase of fairness creams. Plus, the fact that some famous faces endorse them makes it more unfortunate. These fancy-looking items play no role in an ordinary person’s life and tend to make it more miserable.

    Usefulness of advertising has been questioned by many. Some believe that advertisements are a way to attract people into buying unnecessary products. However, I think advertisements educates a person about the product and it’s functions.

    On one hand, people argue that advertisements are luring people into buying products that are not necessary to them.Nowadays, the sole purpose of advertisements is to gain a person’s attention rather than telling the real facts about the product. A lot of ads are deceiving customers by depicting false information about the product and proving it helpful for the public.
    For example, Many India’s were deceived by advertisements from a company broadcasted on popular news channels which promised to produce inexpensive phones and demanded prebooking.

    On the contrary, I believe that advertising is convenient way to showcase a product’s features and functionalities.Advertisements on various social media platform makes it easier to compare features and prices of similar products. Although, advertisements these days are hard to believe, they are nonetheless necessary.It is a person’s responsibility to purchase a product with careful consideration. For example, nowadays Amazon has an option to compare prices, screen size, battery power etc of smart phones which makes it easier for a potential buyer to make decisions smartly and in less time.

    First of all, in today’s world, we are regularly using the internet in our home as well as the office, and we saw so many advertisements on a regular basis. Once you check out any new product they keep sending you the reminder as an advertisement on your social pages till you do not buy it. for instance one of my friend who works with an international company have so many watches and he bought all these after watching the advertisement and he never wear maximum of them.

    On the other hand, people buy a lot of things which is cheap or available in the sale, While visiting the market or malls with the family for any other reason like watching movie or Dinner, Still, they buy some clothes or other products because it is available at a discount, later on, they realise that they actually not have any requirement for the purchased product. for example, whenever I go out with my wife she purchases many things without any planning, last week she bought an LCD because it was available at a 50% discount although it is still packed because we already have two.

    In Conclusion, Advertisement has a big role in our life for buying the things which are not useful or require in our life we buy the things because we saw them everywhere like on TV, Internet and in the market.

For example, recently during this global pandemic era of Covid 19 we have seen a large number of advertisements from the Government and pharmaceutical companies regarding the need of mass immunization and they have projected them so well that it has reached eve n the most remote regions of the world.     In General , this fast paced modern world gets the attention of consumers through adverts and via that corporates gain the attention through millions worth promotion and profits , mainly all these lead to advertisements, furthermore common men gets lured in by the tactics and in result we purchase a lot of goods we might not be needed or useful for ourselves. These quite unconventional ways of multinational companies make us believe and trust their products ,without analyzing as for the consequences we tend to get to become the proud owners of unwanted products or installment plans .

    Firstly , the products or services which we bought might not be through traditional selling methods nowadays it’s quite risky to do shopping from the market or street shop due to that we depend on the new age modern technique of online shopping or ECommerce, we think we save money and time, apparently that’s not the case, while we go through the products which we need we might stumble upon some other products as well and as a result we buy them due to our insatiable tendencies. For example, while going through the app we might buy a handbag online and after some surfing we realize the same bag and there’s other apparels in combo offer ,and we buy them without realizing the real need.

    Secondly, these promotions and services take a U turn when they are expensive we might get into the trouble of installments or debts, which was avoidable but due to the greed we got lured in and in addition to that ,we lose money and clarity.     Firstly, it is with the help of these advertisements only that we can buy products that suits our requirements. We can do a detailed search regarding the concerned product, as well as compare it with similar products and finally end up choosing the one that justifies our need. Just imagine a person with minimal usage of mobile phone buying a costly high-end gaming phone, thus, wasting his money. Undoubtedly, advertisements help in choosing the best suited product and ruling out the products that are increasing the price of the item but will not be in our use.

    Secondly, advertisements also introduce you to the newer facilities available. With the advancement in technology, newer features are added every now and then. Advertisements help in keeping us updated especially when some new idea is proposed in the market. For example, last month I read an article in a news paper mentioning the availability of portable dialysis machine with local venders.     Advertising the product in the market is not a new concept from the old era. It is still attracting the people and they buy the product either it is useful or not to them. I am convinced that the new product would balance our life and understand the technology well to lead our lives.

    Firstly, the concept of promoting the new things that it shows the value of the product, development of technology, and of course to increase the demand for the particular product. While if one advertisement recommends a new device to procure, it would elicit new technology with new concepts to improve living standards. For instance, the household things such as grinder machine, mixer, gas stove, bread toaster, etc., Before a decade, women had experienced difficulty in making rice flour and a mixture of spices paste for cooking. Though an advertisement encourages us to buy, it does not persuade us to buy the recommended one. An advertisement, market the product and target the customer. Insatiable customers would never procure the materials though it is cut corners. It has the change features right from the human to animals and all the creatures in the world too.

    To summarise, advertisements play a vital role in our daily life. Change always be there which we must accept by seeing the human life cycle. Hence in my conclusion, certainly, adapting to the new product or technology would improve human lives which advertisement does by recommending the things.

    Today, we are living in Vuca world. Few people think advertising embolden to buy new item those are not necessary and few people think advertising enhance their life style.

    First of all, Indeed advertising are enhancing our day to day life. It give us so many choices in all the way like price,size, colour etc. Example: we need a phone. We can do research on it in two ways. Either we can go to store and ask from sales person. They can help us accordingly to our requirements or we can do online research. In both the cases we can compare the functionality of all the phones which are available in market like O/S, memory and if it can economically suit us or not. Hence if we have facilities available to make our day to day life more comfortable and enjoyable. We should Opt those options without any worries.

    Further, In this Vuca world where technology and life patterns change so quickly. We have open market where we can be selective to items and provide feedback on it. Example smart watch, a beautiful invention by company’s. Few years back when smart watch was launched the features was very less like to monitor the human health, however if we view now the smart watch has change it has different technologies. Now it is not only captures your health but all the application which we use on our phone. It is clown of our phone. Even if we don’t have our phone we can work with our watch for sometime. After the smart watch launch, all the Companies were open for feedback. They like to achieve the goal on how they can make user life easy. After the feedback the work on users needs and now we have smart watch in all prices, size and shapes. User can select according to there pockets with EMI options.

    Concussion, the advertisement give us full market of options. It is beneficial for sellers and buyers. In this pandemic online shopping was help full for us. We have so many sellers online and all are open with there advantages , disadvantages and feedback. We can choose the seller with our preference, needs and economy status. We are in digital world where we need data to compare which can provided by different advertisements. It’s all create healthy competition between sellers to improve their product with better qualities and prices.

    Which viewpoint do you agree with?

    It is often said that advertisements acknowledge us about products that can lead to improvement in our lives, however majority individuals believe that these advertisements are a trap leading to buy things which are not required though. I strongly believe that most of the advertisements lure people to purchase things which are not even needed.

    Initially, the advertisement; whether on hoarding, flex or on social media like YouTube, Facebook or twitter, attracts a person to imagine about possessing that object highlighted. This person in his sub conscious mind forms an image of possessing that specific object, relates it emotionally and finally buys it. These purchases are usually done by most middle class people from their credit cards or some schemes which eventually put them on debt. For example, after viewing a melodramatic advertisement of some luxurious handbag, one feels as if it is made for her and she should owe it. This lady eventually buy this handbag and willingly put herself in an another debt. However, she already had plenty other handbags and has to pay her other mortgages from meagre salary she gets.

    Moreover, major e-commerce companies share their advertisements claiming people to shop on specific days and avail the best discounts and services ever. Seeing these type of promotions, people despite having sufficient, become a prey and buy things which were never needed. For example, In India, Amazon advertises a lot on its big billion days where it offers huge discount and people buy surplus thinking it is the best they can ever get in such a price. However, after buying that stuff they eventually realise that though the product was cheap but they never really wanted it.

    Therefore, this common practice of shopping maximum and purchasing things out of budget by falling in a trap of an advertisement should be ceased.

    We are surrounded by advertisements all around us, If you are are on Facebook or whatsapp and you are chatting about something almost immediately you will see similar services being advertised on your page. Therefore even if you are not actually intending to buy a product or service a constant reminder on different platforms probes us to make a purchase.

    Many a times you will see advertisement pamphlets being sent to your mail box, email boxes contain advertisements which is regularly promoting items and services forcing you to make impulse purchase.

    Advertising has been a debatable topic over the past few years where many people believe that it persuades the purchase of stuff that we may not even require but at the same time there are many who say that these new products can also bring comfort in our lives. I strongly believe that advertising does help us in getting to know about new technologies, innovations, and essentials that can better our day-to-day lives.

    Firstly, advertisements are the leading cause of 60% of sales in the market because the first step toward selling a product is spreading awareness about it. One in three people in today’s world have access to either the internet or television systems and as a result, when a person is given an insight into a product through these mediums, he or she can make a decision based on their need and financial condition to purchase that product. This is a great development for human beings where they can decide what they wish to have for themselves.

    Secondly, with the increase in the variety of products in the market, consumers are now given a choice to make between all the products based on price, quality, quantity, and effectiveness. This has helped the producers to understand the feedback of various classes and categories of customers to better understand the expectations of their customers. Hence, I believe it is a process of enrichment of both the producers and consumers.

    To conclude, majority of the people would not have known about multiple things that can bring about a change in the functioning of their lifestyles if advertisements hadn’t grown in the past few decades which has helped the advertising industry to grow.

    Technology is flourishing these days, we can see all kind of advertisement everywhere. To promote product or service of a category Companies do advertisements Some people say that advertising encourages us to buy things that we really do not need, others say that advertisement tells us about new products that may improve our lives. According to me, these arguments need proper scrutinization before forming an opinion.

    Advertisement is a way to reach the target audience. Advertising has a positive role to play in modern society, helping us choose between a variety of products. Many adverts try to draw our attention by projecting products with new features. For instance, Food with vitamins, mobiles with multiple cameras, etc. other adverts try to attract customers by cutting corners on prices helping us to seek out the cheapest and best value products. In this case advertising is helpful because both buyers and sellers have benefits.

    On the other hand there are many harmful and dubious products which are projected in such a manner that people are lured to buy them . for example, soft drinks and packaged food which are actually unhealthy. Human needs are insatiable. Advertisements are created in such a way that some people buy the product instantly, hence few may not think about product benefits and features and may buy the product without giving it a second thought .

    In conclusion, there are both advantages and disadvantages of advertisements . by looking at both the sides it can be said that it is the peoples responsibility to buy the products after checking its authenticity and according to their needs.

    Advertisements are considered to be the gripping way of promoting a product online or offline in the recent days and in fact it has added sudden foray of interest on some of the products among the people.

    Off late, there has been lot of products ventured by the market via advisements to people in social media and tv channels . One such product which lured me to buy was a health drink for diabetic patients and that was Ensure. This product has a barrage of ingredients that adds benefits to the diabetic patients and its also said that it controls diabetes when consumed over a period of time. This product comes up different flavors to linger taste buds of the patients. Clearly , this product has shown a tremendous change in my parents health in a year which made them fit and healthy. However, I was quite apprehensive to try it for the first time but now I feel the product was beyond our expectation.

    Nevertheless, advertisements truly are beneficial and It’s also the manufacture’s expedite to bring good products to market and showcase it to the consumers and it’s also the consumers responsibility to choose the product meticulously and not get driven away by deceptive products showcased in the advertisements.

    An advertisement might confuse a person, but it also helps most of people to choose right product based on the requirement. However, I believe Advertising will give an idea all the new products which will improve our lives.

    Most of the companies spend lot on marketing their products, wherein one modern way of doing so is through advertising. Since everyone now in this world is connected with media by television, mobile phones etc, advertising is the best way to do reach the customers. Celebrities are been hired as the ambassadors for the products and they promote or project the products via advertisement.

    Most of them say, celebrities are meticulously chosen to entice the people. I feel this statement is deceptive. In contrast people just don’t procure things looking at advertisement. It is just to provide awareness to masses about a new product. Indeed, people always look for the specification and also value for money. In fact, no one is ready to spend off-limits.

    It is all about how people will understand and evaluate things. Any advertisement doesn’t force people to buy things. But it will reach and every person across the world, which will help them get new products as per their requirement and which in-turn improve their lives.

    Generally, people say that we do buy unecessary things under the influence of advertisements and there is other group of people who believe that advertisements are like guide which provides all the relevant information required regarding the product.

    This matter has been contentious from decades. Although, I strongly believe that nowadys advertisements are misleading. Advertisements entice the customers by showcasing unrealistic outcomes of the products which are mostly deceptive. Interstingly, companies are cutting the corners as one of their marketing strategy, thus making it easy to procure for the people for whom it used to be off-limits. Furthermore, advertisement agencies are projecting only positive aspect of products without highlighting the cautious information.

    Undoubtedly, the regulatory or censor board has to select the content meticulously which assist in passing the right information in an appropriate manner. Due to instiable greed of the manufacturer the unconventional route is followed, on contrary to customer friendly approach. Hence, the adverstiments should convey the information in a crystal clear way.

    To summarise, advertisements are good medium to them customer aware of advantages or disadvantages of the product. However, the selection of information should be in a way cautious way, in favour of customer rather than just a bussiness model.

    Advertisement has become a boon to the modern world and it has it advantages and disadvantages on it. There are two disruptive rather contentious ways on which a company advertise to the public .It is done by positive marketing and Negative marketing. In Positive advertisement the goodness of the product is brought about which forces the person to buy the products and in negative advertisement what happens is it portrays the negativity of the product but in positive way.

    To talk about the some of the advantage of which one being it entices the common public to gain knowledge on the various product or services that are available to consumer. Advertisement brings out a gripping fact on how the companies project various methods to reach out to their consumers. They use celebrities or cartoon characters or well know professional to meticulously convey the benefits of their products to the consumer. Apart from the same they create a hype of the product which will be insatiable and hard to procure in the market.


    On the other hand few of the disadvantages would be that the companies come out with deceptive advertisement which truly spoils the spirit of advertisement. They entice the public to procure those products which would be on no value to them. Some of the companies uses the unconventional method of advertising which uses false propaganda about competitor products. Such kind of products and it is advertisement should be regulated and off limits to the public.

    To sum it up I feel advertisement is necessary evil which helps common people to gain knowledge about a product and give the consumer to choice whether to procure a product or not .
