    Dear Mr. John,

Greetings hope all is well at your side.

First, I would like to thank you for accepting me into the institute and helping me to find a suitable apartment for my stay during my study.

As informed earlier, I am in the process of getting my study visa, and I was supposed to move to the UK by 1st August, but it seems that due to the corona pandemic, my study permit is taking longer time as consulate general of the UK in Delhi is closed now and most of their employees are working from home. Due to this, the entire process has got slower.

Yesterday I called the consulate and they informed me that it will take another one week for processing my visa and that means I must change my plan and postpone my flight by one week.

I am now supposed to land in the UK by 7th August, and I would like to move into the same apartment. Therefore, I request you if you can speak to the landlord and explain my situation.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Thanks,

    Achal

In old time, Fine art was considered valued in the world, and we still can see lot of monuments and artifacts from different cultures which amaze people of our generation to think how someone had built this. For example, Pyramids from Egypt, Taj Mahal from India, Monalisa Painting etc. However, considering today’s need, people perspective has been changed and mostly are leaning towards modern technology, science, and business. There are several reasons of gradual decline in fine art.

First, Art has become a difficult carrier choice for most of the students, as on average it does not pay desired income, one has to face lot of struggles to make a good earning. In recent time, advancement in technologies such as computer, space, etc. have inspired youth to pursue their carrier in these fields as they get better paycheck and a great lifestyle.

Secondly, to become a great artist for a decent income, it requires great expertise. This needs a lot of focus, time from the students. They also have to face fierce competition in order to get good projects or jobs. I think this is much easier for students to do a degree in technology, science and start their carrier in this field as there are huge demands now a days for engineers and scientists. So, more and more students are making their choices in these fields.

In my view, despite there is regular drop in art’s popularity, we should promote art cultures, one way is to maintain some museums about our art history that should focus how the world class painting or structure was made despite no advancement in technology. Government should also need to give more focus in school’s curriculums for art subjects such as painting and sculpture. Parents also need to see the child’s ability, if he/she is creative and fascinated about painting then they should motivate him/her rather than discouraging.

In my view, I strongly support the idea to teach survival skills like cooking, giving first aid, basic self-defense to every teenager, irrespective of their gender, caste, creed, religion, race etc.

In Today’s world, every teenager should be educated what is good and bad for them. Now a days, we are hearing lot of cases when small kids or teenagers are being smuggled to different countries or cities by human traffickers for child labor, bagging, and child sex purposes. If they are taught some basic self-defense technique such as how to raise SoS, call police, how not to fall into trap or even some basic fighting skills, this can often help them to save their lives.

Another important skill should be learnt by teenagers is cooking, in my view, all teenagers should know basics about cooking. If the parents are not around and If the kid doesn’t know how to cook, they end up eating mostly junk foods like burger, pizza, chips etc, which is very harmful for their health. In my view, be it girl or boy, they should at least know how to prepare some easy-to-prepare food like sandwiches etc. Teenagers also would soon be going to colleges which might not be at the same place where they live with their parents, so it’s very important that they learn this skill and if needed when there is no family members with them, they can cook some food to survive.

Just like other survival skills, having knowledge about First Aid is very important for teenagers, most of the teenagers are involved in highly intensive sports activities like Football, Running, Basketball, Cricket, Swimming etc. Mostly teenagers are prone to get hurt while playing in these sports, and it could be an emergency situation as well if they don’t take actions on time for example, if someone is hurt badly and bleed heavily or someone is drowned while swimming and his/her lungs are filled with water, So if immediate action such as giving first-aid or calling ambulance is not taken then kid’s life could be in danger but if they know what to be done in such emergency situations such as giving first aid to stop bleeding and calling ambulance, Eventually they will improve chances for Kid’s survival.

To conclude, No matter from where, what caste, religion, gender, a teenager is coming from, everyone should have access and be taught all basic survival skills.

    Dear John,

Great to hear from you after a long time, and i am very excited that you want to spend your holidays in Vancouver.

First of all, I could help you to find a nice hotel, in my view, downtown would be the best to stay as this is very convenient to commute different parts of city by public transports. Moreover, you will find tourist information center and there are several nice restaurants and pubs.

Now I would like to inform you that there are several exciting opportunities which you can plan while coming to Vancouver, the city is full of parks, beaches, and shopping malls, However, if you personally ask me and if you are little adventurous then I would suggest you to go little far from city to Ski Resort which is approximately just 60 kilometers north side to city.

Last but not the least, as the weather in Vancouver is bit unpredictable, it could be hot during the day, but the temperature can go down quickly in the night then I would suggest you bring a winter jacket along with you.

    See you soon.

    Achal
