The new age invention “internet” has changed the way we use and exchange the information. consequently, it has led to new difficulties, troubling people in an unexpected manner. internet’s lack of censorship and data responsibility are major hurdles of internet experience. this essay will discuss the problems and provide a logical solution.

There are many difficulties caused by internet, however it is worth mentioning the generally observed problems. there are two crucial difficulties i.e., no censor and regulation of internet and data responsibility. some internet platforms restrict content and flag inappropriate posts. In fact, internet as a whole, is never censored, few countries like China and others do restrict people from accessing certain websites, but do not regulate the content available on internet. On the other hand, data responsibility is an unavoidable problem for authorities when battling fake news. whatever data created by people on internet like files, text, video and audio does not contain much information to track down the origin. it is copied multiple times by sharing. therefore, various platforms using different formats for their media usage alters data information and it becomes impossible to gather any details.

However, these problems can be solved if they are taken seriously by global organizations. though few countries restrict some content, it is possible to eliminate and regulate all the inappropriate data. global organizations should take responsibility of regulating all data available on the internet and censor data to provide access, according to the age of the user. In addition, data uploaded on the internet by users can be held responsible if digital signatures are made compulsory to post content online and if self-declaration is also introduced to share or forward content found on internet.

To conclude, internet is a great source of information of all kinds. although, it has brought along quite a few problems like lack of censorship and data responsibility with its advancement. they can be solved with collective measures like regulation by global organizations and implementation of digital signatures and self-declaration.

Traffic is a everyday visual witnessed by people living in almost all cities. traffic jam is very familiar problem confronted by millions of people while travelling. personal vehicles and road traffic management are major contributors to everyday traffic difficulties. this essay will discuss the causes and will provide a logical solution.

There are many factors influencing traffic congestion. however, personal vehicles and road transport management play pivotal role in influencing traffic jam. mode of transport preferred by people changes with their financial level and need of the hour. generally most people depend on personal vehicles like own cars and bikes. Therefore, it adds more vehicles on road leading to traffic congestion. In comparision, i believe if people relied more on public transport and resorted to car pooling, traffic hurdles will subside in very less time.

Traffic management by government authorities have different approach in each state of the same country. In most cases traffic jam occurred due to terrible management of traffic by state government authorities. In addition, unsual road constructions and lack of strict rules and regulation provide to traffic congestion. Personally i witnesses bangalore and kolkata traffic management. For instance, bangalore has india’s worst traffic jams all year and it can be attributed to bad traffic administration of state. On the other hand, kolkata has more population and the short traffic signal intervals makes the city observe less traffic jams.

In conclusion, traffic congestion is a time consuming problem in our daily commute. however it can be avoided by using public transport, travelling together in single vehicle with colleagues and introduction of stricter laws and regualtion for transport by authorities.

Employees of multi-national companies (MNC) and organizations are now told to wear a uniform for office. there are many benefits of uniform like equality and positive development of work environment. this essay will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of uniform in workplace and provide a logical conclusion.

The two main advantages of wearing a uniform is equality among employees and promotion of work environment. uniform develops a sense of equality among employees in office. In addition, it helps to motivate employees of various designations to work without differences. the most influential factor of a workplace is the environment that the employees experience. especially, it contributes to the productivity of the team. uniform instills employees with a bonding to the company or organization. thus, developing a positive and approachable work environment.

However, uniform also has quite a few disadvantages when considering the view point of employees like loss of individuality and lack of comfort. generally, people dress up to look special and stand out among others. indeed, most people love to dress according to the occasion. uniform may demotivate employees as everyone looks the same. comfort is a major problem associated with uniform in workplace. people tend to have different clothing preferences and may not be comfortable wearing a uniform for long hours of work and it also triggers irritation. As a consequence, it may hinder the productivity of an individual in office.

To conclude, although there are disadvatages like loss of
individuality and lack of comfort, the benefits of uniform prove to be neccesary
for better productivity of workplace. i believe that specific alterations to the uniform like change
of material and size will eliminate the disadvantages

March 14, 2022 at 2:01 PM in reply to: Task 1 (Process) : Cement -making process

The above diagram explains the process of cement and concrete production. the illustration on the left show how cement is made from limestone and clay. while, the illustration on the right, shows how cement, sand, water and gravel are used to prepare concrete.

Overall, the interpretation of the diagram shows that limestone and clay go through a complete industrial process to become cement. concrete is mixture of multiple materials which include cement, water, sand and gravel. the materials are mixed thoroughly in a concrete mixer.

Cement production starts with crushing of limestone and clay and that powder is sent to the mixer. later it is heated in the rotating heater. finally, the powder is grinded and packed into the bags. the concrete mixer is responsible for preparation of concrete.

However, concrete needs cement for its preparation. while gravel is 50 percent of the mixture, cement (15%), sand (25%) and water (10%) are used in less proportions. both processes are similar, but the only difference is cement production is in dry form and concrete production is in wet form.

March 10, 2022 at 6:57 PM in reply to: Agree/Disagree (Reward or Punishment)

Performance of students in school is influenced by many factors. It is seldom observed that students who are rewarded, tend to work hard in their academics. However, punishments are necessary as they teach the difference between good and bad. it also helps to inculcate discipline in the students.

As the central theme here is “students”. My decision to agree or disagree has a divided approach to the statement. I agree to the statement that students perform better when rewarded, if the students are pre-adolescents. On the other hand, I disagree to the statement, if students are adolescents.

I agree because students who are pre-adolescents are driven by the reward. although, the rewarding system is designed a way that it lasts only a short term, it produces excellent results which cannot be obtained through punishment. rewarding is a major factor of motivation when it comes to the accomplishment of the task. the materialistic needs of the students gain more priority over other things if rewarding continues extensively. Rewarding is indeed necessary for pre-adolescent students as they are not mature enough to understand the importance of the task at hand.

My disagreement to the statement is a result of many factors that negatively influence the student’s performance. the basic purpose of education, i.e., learning is confronted with limitations when rewarding system is in use. It also contributes to the lack of motivation in unrewarding tasks. This method is not very reliable, since it cannot be used for a long term. Along with time, the expectation of the students grows, when the resources of the reward are depleted, it would result in chaos.

To summarize, I cannot take sides for this statement. I stick to my approach, however I believe both reward and punishment are necessary within the requirements according to the age and understanding of the students.

The above diagram shows a structure that is used to generate electricity from wave power. The diagram shows a comparison of two depictions which shows movement of a wave, in and out of the machine.

Overall, electricity is final outcome in both depictions, showing the process by which electricity is produced with water wave, air pressure and turbine in the chamber.

In the first illustration “A”, the water wave enters the chamber with the motion flow of the water and pushes air towards the turbine inside the chamber which rotates with the force of air, the electric device connected to the column, stores the electric energy produced in the process.

The second illustration “B” shows the water wave exiting the chamber with the external vacuum of the wave and again the turbine is moving in the same direction due to the suction of air by the water wave while leaving the chamber, which produces electricity in the same fashion.

February 28, 2022 at 2:52 PM in reply to: Task 2 ( discuss both the views) : University or Job

Education plays a crucial role in our professional career. It is hard to assume that we can land a job without relevant education. While some certain types of jobs require more skill-based training than higher educational qualification, they have very less employment rates. Education, university or limited to school will help land a job but for more successful career, it is always advised to have good level of higher education combined with a sufficient work experience.

University or college provides students with great exposure that helps them to understand and adopt various perspectives and tackle new challenges. The depth of knowledge absorbed through the years of education in university in their respective subject gives more opportunities and helps to get better at workplace. Qualification is an important factor in terms of hiring new recruits, University or college provides an easy path to fulfil this factor and makes the candidate favourable.

Job after school is great way to understand the workplace and mould according to the requirement of the workplace. Working before joining a university gives more experience and show reality of world and workplace expectations. Working also helps to have better financial planning as most students are not working full time, it affects their understanding of financial planning.

I believe that according to current educational system it is necessary that an individual should work for a limited time before joining university. Continuing work without higher education will hinder professional growth. It should be made compulsory that students work for some time before going for higher studies.

The above pie chart gives information about the household percentage of spending on essential goods in China for the years 1995 and 2011. We can see that there are visible differences in the percentages of food, clothing, medicine and household goods from the pie charts

Overall, the budget for food has come down from 1995(68%) to 2011(59%). We can also see a sharp increase in budget for medicines. Household goods budget was increased slightly. clothing budget almost remained the same.

The interpretation of pie charts shows us how food budget has come down with a decrease of 9% Which can be attributed to current generation’s body goals and income. The implementation of one-child policy can also be a reason for decrease in food budget.

Medicine has gained more importance over the years which can be a result of new illnesses and adulteration of food. it increased from 4% to 11%, which is more than double of the budget in 1995.
