    In the current millennial era where technology is emerging with several online platforms, the traditional newspaper is appeared to be the most consistent alternative for daily bulletin news. I completely disagree with this opinion and believe that a large amount of population which mainly includes the newer generation, uses online websites and applications to get news updates. This essay will discuss how the print media is no more a popular source of communication.

    Social media channels are the busiest and highly interacted online mediums used for being connected and modernize us on current happenings in the world. For instance, famous journalists and new channels have upgraded themselves to Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and many more to keep its consumers updated with the content provided on each account. In addition to that, baby boomers and silent generation have transitioned to downloading applications on smartphones instead of reading the conventional newspapers.

    Furthermore, newspapers are far more expensive mediums whereas online news is available at zero to minimal cost. For example, the print media requires a monthly subscription and consumers rely on the delivery boy to read their daily bulletin. However, online applications are installed on your devices making it easily accessible. At the same time, online platforms are environment friendly as it has reduced the cost of paper, ink and printing drastically.

    To summarize, traditional mediums are diminishing with technology advancement and people are eagerly adapting the electronic media and online applications in their day-to-day life. Therefore, I am quite inclined with the opinion that newspapers are insignificant source in the news industry.

    The line graph illustrates the crowd of various means of entertainment such as radio and television in UK, October to December 1992. Units are measured in percentage (%).

    People watching TV increase gradually from 8am to less than 10%, while decreasing slightly by 10.30am. However, the traffic surges throughout the day upto 50% and shows an immediate fall at midnight dipping to just above 0% and remains almost constant till the end of the day.

    Radio audience experiences a rise to just under 10% to 30% between 8 to 10am. Although, the crowd keeps declining by 10am to 2pm. Furthermore, radio traffickers peaks slightly at 4pm, however plummeting 6pm onwards to just above 0% by the end of midnight.

    The line graph illustrates four causes of air pollution in UK during 1990 to 2005. Units are measured in million tonnes.

    Overall, industry and total air pollutants decreased drastically over the years, whereas transport and household pollutants have more or less similar emission throughout the duration.

    Firstly, total air pollutants appears to be under 8 in 1990 and begun decreasing to 4 till 2005. However, transportation displays to be static in the period of 15 years, while slightly decreasing in 1999.

    Secondly, pollution caused due to industries is just under 6 million tonnes and starts dipping dramatically to 2 million tonnes till 2005. Furthermore, household hazardous wastes emit pollution around 1 million tonnes in 1990 continuing to drop to almost 0 in 2005.

    The vertical bar graph represents a range of followers of admired Instagram influencers during 2018 and 2021. Units are measured in millions.

    Overall, Cristiano Ronaldo has the highest number of followers amongst the other influencers. Although, in 2021, there is a sudden increment in the number of followers as compared to 2018.

    In 2018, Selena Gomez has the most number of believers approximately 150, whereas The Rock and Kylie Jenner have followers just below 100. However, Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez set forth their fan following over a 100 million.

    Furthermore, in 2021, there is a dramatic surge by three times of that in 2018. While, Kylie Jenner and Selena Gomez increased their fan following equal to or just under 250 million. Whereas, The Rock and Ariana Grande were able take it upto 250 million and above. However, Cristiano Ronaldo appears to be have an outrageous amount of believers about more than 300 million.
