  • One of the most debatable topics of discussion in recent times is, Have we arrived at the virtual world of online education and work from home? Lots of people are agreed with this notion while there are some who express disagreement with this. This essay will discuss both stances before presenting my consensus.

From the past few years, especially from the last 2 years when Covid-19 emerge as a pandemic, the traditional culture of work and education faced complete changeover. The long practiced working culture of work from the office and education in the classroom shifted to work from home and virtual online class culture. Due to this abrupt shift people all around the world faced major challenges for which they were not prepared. Parents had to have an individual cell phone/ laptop for each child, which put an extra financial burden on them. Many working professionals had to buy a stable internet connection and computer hardware for a high amount to ensure their job. Other than this, the very high demand for internet connectivity and smart device put challenges in front of industries to ensure the balance supply-demand in services.

On the other hand, these changes led to various merits for the student and working professional. Students can learn more deeply through these online mediums and professionals can work from home in the comfortable environment of a home. This led to an important aspect of the recovery of the earth’s atmosphere, as the largest portion of transportation used for commuting to work came to a very low percentage. These enhance the quality of air and also improve the global warming condition as consumption of fossil fuel experienced the bottom level. Highest enhancement of virtual world experienced in the education system as the entire activity transfer to virtual medium. Right from admission to getting the degree moved to a virtual medium. More professionals would be able to enhance their professional expertise through various online courses and advances in their careers.

It is apparent from the above point that both views have their own clarification which led to an altercation. I, however, agree with the notion that the virtual world is a reality and we must embrace it.

To explicate the pie chart, the overwhelming majority increment noticed for the medicine which was experience steep rise from 4% in the year 1995 to 11% in the year 2011. Not very far from that, household goods also increase from 9% to 12 % between the year 1995 to 2011.

On the contrary, two-sector, food and clothing face the fall between the year 1995 and 2011. The given table illustrates the data of world population in billions along with region wise proportion in the year 1950, 2000 and their future estimation in the year 2050.

Overall, it is evident that the world population will grow in numbers and Africa will experience the highest growth in population while Europe and North America will be the only region with decreasing rate of population growth. The other regions remain nearly stable throughout the period.

The world population experience constant growth from 2.5 billion in the year 1950 to an estimated 9 billion in the year 2050. Africa had 9% of the total world population in the year 1950, which will nearly double to 20% in 2050, the only region with a positive growth rate. On the other side, Europe and North America are the only region with a negative population growth rate, starting at 22% & 7% in the year 1950 and will end with 7% and 4% in the year 2050, respectively.

The remaining regions, i.e. Asia, Latin America, and Oceania show a similar pattern of variation in the percentage of population growth for the given time period, starting at the lowest value in the year 1950, increased to the maximum value in 2000, estimated to remain constant till the year 2050.

To start with, Job satisfaction gives you mental peace, without which one may not be able to perform at their best level. Moreover, one becomes less enthusiastic about their work, which hampers the productivity and creativity of individual. As the work is competitive domain, vicious cycle of dissatisfaction often leads to stress and depression. To illustrate, a good friend of mine doing the job just for the sake of money led to depression and attempt suicide. So, it is very important to be at mental tranquility with the work rather than money.

In this contemporary world, advertisement has a major effect on buying habits of consumers. It is often considered that enticing advertisement leads to unnecessary purchase of goods, while some believe that advert guide to buying the best product from vast ranges. Before I assert my decision this essay discuss both viewpoints in detail.

In this digital era, gripping advertisements encourage insatiable people to procure unwanted things. A barrage of an advertisement on various digital platforms often misguides to buy unnecessary things. To illustrate, a recent article from a marketing magazine present a case study, where the sales of product triple-fold after various advertisement campaign at sports events in the Asia region. The company hires a leading researcher to design the advert that impacts the subconscious, thereby hampering purchasing decisions. Various business strategies like discounts, buy 1 get 1 often perplexed one’s decision and turn into the procurement of unwanted things.

On the other hand, advertisement has a plethora of benefits and provides vital information regarding the product. An enormous amount of products introduces in the market every single day, and it is impossible for one to have relevant information regarding the products, where this advert formed a solid base to promote the product. For example, advertisements of subsidies on solar panels from the government on various advertisement platforms like TV, Radio, and Newspaper alter the purchasing trend, thereby many people get benefitted. Advertisements allow consumers to make informed decisions, hence improving their lifestyle.

From the above, I strongly agree with the latter statement that advertisement add quality to life by taking meticulous & informed decision.
