This essay describes the data depicted by two pie charts, which illustrates the percentage of Canadians between 25 -35 years and 45 – 55 years in their respective field of specialization.

Overall the percentage of people who studied social science and arts are the significant portion in both groups. Moreover, the younger group is more involved with science, maths and computer studies while the older one is more interested in engineering. The modern world is greatly dependent upon social media particularly for being up to date and keep in touch with friends and families. In this essay, we will discuss whether or not this is a good change, list the pros and cons of such extensive use of social media, and will reach a rational conclusion.

Social media has opened new ways of news reading as a few years before the only source of information was newspapers and channels; people were unable to know whatever news that has been left out from reporting by these companies because of political or financial reasons. Today we can know these backdoor games played behind news reporting just because of social media. social media has been helpful in not only knowing news but also in maintaining contacts with friends and family particularly with those who live far away. to exemplify finding a lost childhood friend was of enormous difficulty in the past but today most of the time these people are just one or two clicks away.

However, there are some relevant concerns associated with social media too, as the plague of fake news have been a major issue our country currently facing. And the exposed scam such as Cambridge Analytica selling data to manipulate the election process of America is pointing towards the depth of the threat associated with social media.

So to conclude as modern world technology social media has enormous benefits to mankind and the threats of misusing it also relevant for which a government level action are required

For past few decades the syllabus of young-lings have been becoming more and more elaborate because of addition of subjects like foreign languages. Some experts argue that studying foreign languages in early stages of schooling is of immense importance and some other refute such an argument. The later thinks that non-native languages should be left for secondary school. This essay will weigh both the arguments and will analyse the pros and cons of this extra burden on kids and will reach a rational conclusion.

For a kid language is a window that opens into the ocean of information and having reasonable knowledge, particularly in languages like English cannot be emphasised more . Since English is a universal language and a (an) innumerable number of books are written in English the inability to read and understand the language well impede child’s ability to attain more knowledge. To exemplify the state syllabus students of my native place Kerala generally have poor skills in English language because of the absence of proper training in primary schools. So during early period of schooling this kids are unable to read and comprehend books written in English .Thus teaching a foreign language in primary school open (opens) many doors of knowledge and possibilities in front of children

However everything comes at a coast (cost)! The increased burden of studying can put stress on young pupils and this can affect their mental health if go unchecked. It’s astounding that there are some syllabuses which includes (include) foreign languages like French and Spanish . What is the purpose of learning these languages since we can communicate in every corner of the world with just knowing English..? There may be some areas where people don’t understand English .But knowing all these languages are humanely impossible and its irrational to pressurise kids to learn these languages of little practical importance. The undue stress can lead to long lasting effects on mental health of children.

So to conclude learning useful things like English language should be
promoted, and it should be learned in primary school itself for better
understanding, and easy upgrading of academic skills in future ;as well as
adding unnecessary subjects to syllabus should be avoided too

In 21st century the daily life of man is heavily dependent upon technology and Internet. Just like the industrial revolution of 18th century Internet boom of 21st century has changed the world top to bottom. So do Internet or technology has made man more social? Before answering that we have to understand what does being social actually means.

Socialising means the way man interacts with the primary elements of society (which is people ). In our modern society these interactions can be of 2 types through digital platforms and by direct verbal or physical interaction.

So when we look back in time before internet and social media platforms; we used to interact with a few people relatively but there was more communication and contact with them. In old days it was almost impossible to find a childhood friend or crush we had ,it was uncommon to fall in love with a person living in another country , to be lectured by world class intellectuals in a rural area was just a dream. Today all these things are quite common and possibilities of Internet is indescribable.

So what has changed in time? The direct interaction with the people near to us has reduced enormously ,We become people with thousands of online friends but not even one in real life. Many of us drifted to sedentary lackadaisical life.

Thus in conclusion technology has made a man a global citizen and more social albeit just like everything else in the world we paid the toll for that in the form of significantly reduced face to face interaction and human connection.
