These pictures illustrate how cement is produced, and how concrete is made. Overall, the process of making cement uses some tools and consists several stages, as the production of concrete requires only a mixer.

At the first stage, limestone and clay are crushed through crusher machine and turned into powder. These powders are mixed together by mixer and sent into rotating heater which works with heat. After that these materials are gone into grinder and changed to cement which are packed in bags.

Furthermore, in the concrete production, there are four main elements including: cement, water, sand and gravel. Each of them has a certain percentage to produce concrete with 15 percent cement, 10 percent water and sand and gravel percentages are 25% and 50% respectively. These materials are mixed together in a big concrete mixer which leads to producing concrete for building aims.

In conclusion, it is clear from the diagrams that there are four important stages in cement production while concrete production has only one stage. More over, cement is produced by mixing two elements while concrete is produced by mixing four elements.

The table compares about the proportion of people and their distributions among six different regions in the globe in 1950 and 2000, with anticipated totals for 2050.

Overall, it can be seen that while the population of people in Asia and Africa is set to grow, but in Europe and North America is decreasing . Only Oceania is likely to remain stable throughout the period maintaining 1%.

Asia stood at 56% in 1950, which was the highest percentage of all given distributions, and the figure is set to experience a small rise to 59% in 2050. On the other hand, for Europe there was a sharp slid to 12% in 2000, approximately two times much less than 22% in 1950. Ultimately , the percentage is predicted to hit 7% in 2050. Latin America had 6% of the world population; this figure rise to 9% in 2000.

The population was only 7% and 5% in 1950 and 2000 correspondingly for North America and is going to shrink marginally to 4% over the following fifty years. Nonetheless, Africa will have nearly doubled by 2050 from 9% to 20%.

The two maps illustrate the main changes which have taken in the village Ryemouth between the year 1995 and present.

Overall, village Ryemouth did not develop in size, location, but there have been significant changes in infrastructure, housing over the period given.

In 1995 village was more agrarian ,in the south side of the village there was a fishing port, fish market and shops, furthermore in the east side of the village were big territory where were located farmland and forest park and just below is the hotel and cafe. Also in north side of the village there were few houses.

To all this, more houses were built on the northern side of the village.

The given pie charts demonstrate the information about the Chinese household spending patterns in four essential categories between the year 1995 and 2011.

Overall, in both the charts, spending is huge for foods and clothes, which accounted for more than half of the household budget. Whereas, small amount of expenses is seen on drugs and goods.

As it is very clear from the chart that in 1995, the highest percentage of money spent on food category by China which was accounted at 68% and decreased dramatically with 59% in 2011. However, clothing and medicine represented the lowest category that was 19% and 4% respectively in 1995. The proportion of household goods was 9% in China in 1995.

Moving further, in the year 2011, the similar proportion of money was consumed on clothing and medicine that was 18% and 11% respectively .While, the percentage of household goods was 12% in 2011.

These days, open office designs are being used more than closed-door styles. There are both merits and demerits of this change. In my opinion, the advantages of having broad single open hall for a job outweigh its disadvantages.

There are a number of benefits of a large open office hall which includes the motivation of work and monitoring. An open space where all staff do their job together under one roof creates an atmosphere of mutual working. For example, most Wall Street offices are designed under a single open-hall theory, where all employees sit together. This has improved efficency of work as workers are able to communicate during the job and able to adopt a working atmosphere of the whole room.Furthermore,it is easy for employers to monitor the quality of performance in an open space design.Because it gives a wide view and few cameras to keep an eye on employees.

Moreover, open styles are cost effective. In contrast, separate rooms are costly in terms of money and time. Because it takes longer to build individual rooms in a building. Also, installations of different equipment and facilities in an open design are esay.To illustrate this, fewer air-cons and internet modems are sufficient for a single open room but in case of an office that has an lot of rooms are required for each room to have an air-con and internet facility. There is no doubt that all these merits stand in good stead as long as a building’s cost matters.

In conclusion, open designs for offices are far better than different rooms n an office because of surveillance and cost.It also provides a working condition within a building when all personnel are working under the same roof together. In my opinion, there are more benefits of open space building.

In a modern society, environmental care has become the centre of global debates. Some people think that only government is responsible for protecting the environment, while others believe that every human being must be liable for it.In my opinion, it will be more beneficial if both the country and individuals share the responsibility equally.

Firstly, the government plays a important role in maintaining the environment safe and healthy. The Country’s Authorities should introduce some laws encouraging factories to move from Cities to the countrysides, so that the rate of air pollution is reduced. On the other hand,it is undeniable that each person should step forward for Go-GREEN surroundings rather than polluting the area by using plastics and throwing them on the roadsides. Everyone should promote recycling of waste materials to maintain a healthy environment. As per the “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” program introduced in India by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all the plastic items were stopped for usage. It was observed, that by stopping plastic waste from entering and contaminating water outlets people are able to save drinking water and the natural habitat.

Secondly, the political departments should come up with some new ideas to educate citizens, and to encourage them to care the nature more. Also educated individuals should provide awareness to their neighbourhood about the pros and cons of a healthy environment. For example,in many rural parts of India, “Street plays” are conducted by several Welfare Organisations where in a group of people act in a show based on ongoing problems on streets which conveys a strong message at the end of the play.such activities are more easy to educate people about the important of protecting the nature.

In conclusion the government should use their power for safety of Mother Earth by bringing new rules which every individual should follow. Thus, the joint efforts of both the government and their citizens would result in the most effective way of preserving the environment.

The first line graph compares the steel production and the demand in the UK in 2010 while the second one shows the employee number in the industry in the same year. Overall, the production of steel was higher throughout the year than that of the demand in December and the highest number of employees was employed in this industry at the beginning of the year.

According to the first graph, the UK produced 4000 million ton steel in January 2010 and at that time the demand was exactly half of that. After the first quarter, the production and needs for steel remained almost the same. At the end of the second quarter, August, the UK’s steel production stool at just over 3 thousand million ton against a million ton less demand. From January to November, the production was higher than the demand and the gap between these two was on average a million ton. However, the things changed at the end of the year.In December, the demand for steel exceeded the total production.

The second line graph shows that 5 million employees worked in the steel industry and this number dropped to two million less in April. From that time onward, the employee number showed some fluctuations and in August, the UK steel sector employed around 3.5 million workers. This number continuously dropped throughout the rest of the year and declined to 1 million in December.
