One goes to university not only for getting a better job but also receives much more diverse knowledge and skills that benefits them and the society as a whole. This essay below will illustrate both the views, where one can see it as a place for getting good jobs for graduates and also as place for gaining variety of other benefits which as a matter of fact, I agree.

Generally, universities are considered for getting a better job among graduates. At the end of the graduation, a graduate’s aim is to get placed in a well reputed company for which he/she has worked hard towards achieving it. It is believed that one cannot a better job or salary without graduating, which drives the sole intention of the students towards it.

However, when looked from a different perspective, university education also provides a platform for students to explore their hidden talents, which may not be limited only to academics but also to various other areas. It is also evidenced that; companies get attracted to candidates with diverse skills and talents than one focusing exceptionally only on academics. . Job-Fairs,
cultural events and programs organised within the universities also helps in building a strong social relationships and moral values which benefits the students later to become a part of a healthy society. Organising these types of co-circular activities also help them to generate more contacts which ultimately strengthen their social network, making their job-hunting process much easier.

To summarise, I believe that passing out from university has much more advantages added to a student’s life, rather than having the perception of only getting a better job.

The diagram above depicts the recycling process of plastic bottles where it passes through a series of process and finally ending into a final product.

The entire process can be sub divided into 5 major areas, which includes collection from local sources, sorting of usable plastics, cleaning the plastics to make it free from contaminants, processing into usable pre-forms for the end products and finally into the end product which are various household objects.

The process starts with collection of the discarded plastic bottles from local dustbins, which are being collected using the waste collection trucks and brought to the nearest material sorting facility. In the sorting facility the usable plastic bottles are segregated from the unwanted plastics manually by the workers, over the conveyor. Once sorted, the raw material is then compressed into bales which can be transported easily to the cleaning facility. To make the cleaning process more efficient, in the cleaning section the bales are broken down into fine pieces using large shredders. Once shredded the pieces are then cleaned thoroughly inside a large tank which is placed under the crusher.

After cleaning the raw material or the shredded plastic pieces are fed into a parallelization machine to form plastic pellets. The pellets are then heated at a high temperature where it melts and becomes the raw material for the end product. The raw material then formed are passed through various processes to manufacture desired products used in our daily life like T-shirts, bottles, storage containers, pens. etc.

The line chart here represents burglary, car theft and robbery in New Port City from 2003 to 2012.

Overall, there has been a sharp decline in the burglary whereas both car theft and robbery maintains a steady profile through the period. Robberies were least common throughout yet also rose marginally.

By the end of 2003 Burglary tops among both the other types of crime with incidents recorded above 3500. But it took a sharp decline thereafter and in the year 2008 it recorded less than 1500 cases, lower than car theft and with highest declination rate among other two areas of crime.

On the other hand if we look into the cases of car theft, it has also declined slightly in the number of cases from around 2700 to 2000 during the period of 2003 to 2006. From the year 2006 it started gaining upward trend in the increased number of cases and recorded back to over 2500 cases by the year 2012.
Robbery (theft from the person) maintained a sinusoidal profile with slight increased in the number of cases during the year 2004 and then decline gradually to 500 which marks the least cases recorded among other two types. By the end of 2012 when compared to burglary and car theft robbery remains with the lowest number of recorded cases.
