Colours always have played an essential role in an individual’s life, either personal or professional. Several research and experiments have been done to find the effect of colours on people’s mood and behaviour, and the findings show that people’s feelings are influenced by colour.

To begin with, we are associated with different colours from the very start of our life. For instance, red is considered the colour of love, whereas green is usually related to freshness and prosperity. Thus our brains associate these colours with our moods and feelings. We tend to react and feel differently with the association of colours. According to different studies, a new therapy called ” colours therapy” is quite effective and uses colours to cure certain mental and physical illnesses.

From this perspective, it is essential to use soothing and accepted colours in schools, hospitals and offices. Light and soft colours in the offices will help the employees feel more at ease and improve their performances. Similarly, vibrant colours in schools will attract the children and make them more comfortable in the space. Furthermore, when a hospital is painted, colours should be taken into consideration. The paint on the walls affects the mood of the patients and their health. For instance,
bright colours can make maniac or bipolar patients more aggressive, so they should be avoided.

To conclude, colours are an inevitable part of an individual’s life, and attention should be given to colour schemes when decorating places such as offices and hospitals as they tend to influence our lives in and out.

Advertisements have become an essential part of the social media culture these days. Celebrities to social media influencers, everybody is trying to promote one brand or the other. Some people say that advertising encourages us to buy things that we do not need. Others say that advertisements tell us about new products that may improve our lives.

Sometimes, these advertisements are over the top and encourage people to buy stuff that is not essential. For example, some famous cricketers promote “black water” these days, which they say is healthier. But this is a hoax. As tempting as it may seem, it’s not everybody’s cup of tea to buy such expensive products. And when people are not able to purchase these products, all they have is guilt and remorse.

I agree that advertisements tend to improve our lives, but somehow, it raises people’s societal expectations. If you tend to follow some advertisements and not purchase the products promoted, you might feel left out or not going well with the trend. Fear of missing out is real in this case. I would also like to point out some misleading advertisements pushing our teenagers towards anxiety and other body image disorders. A good illustration of this is the increased purchase of fairness creams. Plus, the fact that some famous faces endorse them makes it more unfortunate. These fancy-looking items play no role in an ordinary person’s life and tend to make it more miserable.

Taking everything into consideration, advertisements these days push people to buy unwanted things instead of sorting people’s lives.
Therefore as luring the advertisements be, we have to be meticulous enough before procuring any kind of products.

Teenage is that stage of development that prepares a person for the future. A school going teenager is none less than a warrior. Some people think that school-going children should concentrate on all the academic subjects during school. On the contrary, others believe that children should focus on the subjects they are best at or interested in. According to me, students should focus on enhancing their skills in subjects that interest them the most, but I also agree that knowledge of all the subjects is crucial as it will help them earn their bread and butter.<div>

But when teenagers are interested in or good at some specific subjects, they will get motivated and explore the detail of the courses by themselves. As they always say, “your passion can become your profession”. Once a child identifies his interest, he must be given a platform only to enhance his skills in that field of interest.

Though by this, I do not dignify the importance of the subjects taught at school. Education programs are carefully chosen and selected for a reason, meaning that every subject is important and relevant in the student’s life. Plus, school subjects act as a foundation stone for the future. Therefore we cannot neglect their importance as well.
In conclusion, a teenager should focus on the subjects they are best at or are willing to continue in the future but not on the sake of neglecting subjects taught at school.
