Sports being one of the most celebrated and devoted cultural activity around the world, the needs of hosting an international sports event is undoubtedly necessary, but the opportunities and obstacles generated in a country due to these events needs to be discussed. I do partially agree on both aspects of the necessity of hosting international sports events.

To begin with, the opportunity for a country to host an international sports event brings in honor and also the greatest advantage lies in the enormous fame and recognition it receives globally. The organizing of international sports event such as Olympics, FIFA World cup ,Cricket World Cup and so on entails huge preparations and planning which begins a lot ahead of its schedule under the guidance and organized supervision of concerned sports authority and government of the host countries. The preparations to receive a huge and diverse audience catalyzes the development and renovations in various aspects of the country including its infrastructure, accommodation and travel facilities. These preparations to bolster the image of the country also creates a rise in job opportunities contributing towards the fortifying economy of the nation. For instance, the recent changes in infrastructure and economy over the past 5 years in Qatar to host FIFA world cup 2022 is drastic and unimaginable.

The major reason for people to demur the idea of hosting international sports events is because of the way it turns out to be lucrative for tourism in a long run which in turns affect the economy of the nation adversely. This contradicts the believes of proponents of International Gaming events such as, these events having beneficial aspects for local people. Even though the events are fugacious, the cost of investment on development and infrastructure is enormous which otherwise could have used for integral public needs of the nation.

Thus to conclude, although the views and opinions on conducting national sports events are contradictory, the final outcome depends on the economical stability of the nation. If the country is economically stable to face the losses if any, it could benefit from the honor and fame received, in spite of the monetary loss. Whereas a less stable country receives honor but might suffer in a long run.

The exponential growth in teenage crimes has been one of the major concerns faced by most of the countries around the world which needs to be discussed and dealt with within no time since the foundation for the future generation depends on the teenager community.

When we look into what fueled this drastic increase in teenage crime rates ,we could come up with a handful of reasons which begins from one’s home itself. Most of the children who had grown into teenage criminals were brought up with little or no guidance or from their parents or guardians. As we know the character development of a human being is at its peak during the early childhood days, where one’s character or self can be nurtured with values if guided properly. Apart from home, the education system of a country often neglects its responsibility in shaping the generations by administering value education in curriculum.The lack of proper guidance in choosing friend circles ,most teenagers fall prey into viscous cycle of drugs or alcohol where they loses their self-respect and rationality leading to crimes.Uncontrolled access to media at a young age often leads children to innumerable traps awaiting for them in the virtual world luring them by offering monetary or other forms of benefits. For instance, the famous killer game Bluewhale gained attention of the whole world by its ability to trap people ,among which the major focus was on teenagers.

The situation can be tackled with proper and timely measures taken by government which is need of the hour. Education curriculum must focus on children being instilled with moral education which includes teaching of human values and harmony in family and society.Stringent laws and actions against crime can be brought by the government to cause fear amongst teenagers . Moreover, the juvenile organisations of each country must assure that the children or teenagers are raised in a healthy and proper environment by their parents or guardians at their homes. Students in schools must undergo regular counselling and trainings on character development and should be undergone through cultural and physical activities improving their rational thinking ability. Children must be brought up with the awareness of the hazards awaiting for them in the society such as media threats and traps, drugs or even at times toxic friendships. Apart from these, parents or guardians must be made aware of their responsibility in raising their children as responsible citizens, whose negligence at times can lead their own children grow into criminals.

Thus, together the government, educational systems, parents and guardians must pave ways for their children to grow into responsible citizens who are aware of universal human values they must abide.

Tourism has been one of the major aspects in boosting economy of various countries and results in increasing job opportunities. However, the increasing rate of tourism can cause negative impact on local inhabitants and the environment which can outweigh its advantages. The opportunities and obstacles caused by tourism is discussed below.

The major attraction caused by tourism lies in the monetary benefits acquired. The travel agencies and tourist companies make use of their opportunities in serving and aiding the tourists who are fascinated in meeting and experiencing diverse cultures. Apart from this, a country’s population is benefited from tourism by the various opportunities it offers which includes diversity of jobs offered in hotels, restaurants, car renting agencies, local shops resulting in tackling unemployment in tourist areas. The ingenuous groups lures tourists with their native artforms, cuisines and cultural attires who in turn gets benefited from the profits of selling these goods. The revenue from tourism can be utilized in various development of a country including the maintenance of infrastructure at tourist sites. Also, the revenue can be used in development of other areas of major concern of a country such as education facilities , health facilities and so on.

While looking from the other side, we could see the obstacles faced by a country due to tourism that can arise out of various reasons. Out of all the affected, the environment faces grave risks damages caused by tourism. A lot of natural tourist attractions are undergoing damages or being destructed due to less or poor care by tourists. Most of these places are often found polluted by plastics or other wastes ,which affects the flaura and fauna of the region. The natural sites such as wildlife, vegetation, water sources, forests, mountains, beaches lost their integrity and natural balance due to the exponential rate of pollution and damage caused. Another disadvantage is commercialization of cultural goods leading to lose of integrity of the region causing people focus on profits rather than preserving cultural identity. The countries depending only on tourism for major part of their economy can be adversely affected during the off seasons.

Thus government should be aware of the adverse effects of tourism that can’t be undone if left unchecked and take appropriate and adequate measures in protecting the environmental identity and integrity of a region to maintain ecological balance and preserving its natural self.

Clearly both these aspects should be taken into meticulous consideration before acquiring a conclusion.

Advertising through all sorts of media including social networking platforms, television, radio, newspapers try to project a barrage of vast variety of products to the public. Therefore, increase the reach of facilities to a larger sector of our society. Advertising not only aim at facilitating the common people but also helps growing businesses hire more customers. Apart from that advertising brings in competition among the sellers leading to innovations or improvements in their products. These competitions indeed lead sellers to cut corners aiming at enticing more customers. Thus products which remained off-reach for many people are now available at affordable prices. Advertising utilises its power to reach millions of people also to spread general awareness in important issues of public importance. At the present scenario health facilities, health care and precautions to be followed during the global pandemic is reached out to people through advertising through various communication medium.

However, advertising do have its own shortcomings. It spreads the notion of unrealistic desires which are insatiable in the real world. For instance, The beauty standards set in advertising cosmetic products is beyond the reality.Certain advertisement creates an illusion among people to think that their products are actually vital for survival. And everyday we could see incidents of people trapped in deceptive offers of advertisements .At times, people find advertisements disruptive and invasive usually, when it pops up during an important being done .This obviously leads people to grab on to ad-free subscriptions to save themselves from untimely advertisements.

So, as discussed through the various aspects of advertisements its complicated to come to a conclusion saying that advertisements are beneficial or not. But as far as I could see ,their benefits outweigh the negatives.

I strongly agree that outdoor activities are more beneficial for children’s development than playing computer games. Upbringing of a vibrant generation requires children to be actively participating in all activities instead of spending hours with gadgets.

With the growing pace in technology since the advent of computers our lifestyle demands certain changes among which the internet and upgrading gadgets plays an inevitable role. This growing technology has impact in affecting hobbies and cause behavioral changes in children. Computer games undoubtedly is on of the reasons for children’s abysmal performance in school. Gadget addiction in children is one of the serious issues ignored by most parents. Children are often condoned by their parents and become complacent towards their health.

In most cases children often never experience the conducive environment provided by outdoor activities essential for not only joy but also for maintaining good health. Moreover, ferocity of modern games can negatively impact the moral development of a child. For instance, children nowadays are ignorant to their basic responsibilities such as maintaining cleanliness of their room or even their home. To put it more simply children are growing lazy sitting idle in front of computer games.

Parents must be made aware that children are more susceptible to gadget addiction. Schools can take initiatives in creating awareness of hazards of computer game addiction. Above all in most cases it’s never too late to save children from gadget addiction since their minds are malleable for new hobbies to be cultivated.

Overpopulation is one of the serious environmental problems faced by the world over a period of time. I would completely agree upon this statement. And creating public awareness about the seriousness of the problem is need of the hour.

To begin with, one of the main reasons causing overpopulation is the lack of awareness about its effects on environment. In other words people lack the knowledge about the significance of ecological balance which in fact is crucial for the very existence of life on earth. As a consequence of over population one of the most affected sector is world’s flaura and fauna.The depletion of natural resources in turn threatens the life expectancy of wildlife. The various initiatives taken by the government to educate public regarding the issue seems to have little effect on the exponential growth in population. Clearly it is the responsibility of people to consider outpacing ability of our planet to support it.

To sum up, the happiness of increased life expectancy and growing birthrates due to advanced technologies and health facilities is a blessing in disguise due to the fact that overpopulation is being threat to the very existence of ecological balance .The human being the most intellectual species to ever walk on earth must be aware of the responsibility of protecting their home land from the crisis of over population.
