Dear John,
I am writing this letter to seek your permission for working at company’s South Africa branch starting July 2022 for six months.
On 10th of June 2022, a meeting was held for migrating users from one vendor system to another. Because of the constant interaction with the final users and helping them settle with the new software, and difference in time zones, engaging with the users is counter productive. Although, the team onsite is capable enough but, the task of handling a large customer base can be overwhelming. Due to my knowledge of the process and expertise in handling the systems, my presence over there will be an additional support in making the job a success.
During my absence, I would not like to keep my spot vacant and hinder the current processes. Therefore, I have trained Michael to be my backup and he will perform tasks that fall under my umbrella.
As my direct supervisor, your approval is utmost important to commence the travel process. I would like to request you to please approve the request and make the travel arrangements so that the team over there can share the load of work with me for a successful transition.

In this fast paced world, communicating with other people in social networking sites have reduced personal interactions amongst the human beings in a community. In spite of the fact that it possess many advantages, I believe, the disadvantages weigh more on the scale and this essay will discuss it.
On one hand, advancements in technology has proven to be a boon for us. With the development of these networking sites such as Facebook, Instagram, etc., the geographical barriers are broken, thereby bringing people closer. Moreover, interaction amongst peers has become easier nowadays. A survey, conducted by Yale University, analyzed that younger generations are more active on social messaging applications like WhatsApp and Snapchat and have friends and followers from various parts of the world. Because of the calling feature of these apps, the usage of landline and cellular phone calls have drastically reduced, making them talk on the go without creating a hole in the pocket.
On the other hand, increased dependency on these applications for communication has made talking discretional. These days, people can respond to the messages at their convenience and can also block someone whenever they want. Furthermore, too much reliability on social websites for communication diminishes the feeling and the urge of going out to have physical interaction with the society, therefore, reducing the traditional face to face interaction to digital interaction. As a consequence, people lack empathy and the emotional connect. For instance, nowadays, young couple meet on Tinder and break up on WhatsApp.
To summarize, we know that social media’s contribution to bring people from various geographical regions is commendable. However, the demerits that are associated, such as optional talking and lack of intimacy is a great cause of concern and this can transform the society which will not be for good.

Society has different opinions on awarding death penalty. It is argued that capital punishment is a necessity for a more secure society. I believe, there is no doubt that awarding capital punishment is directly proportional to reduction of criminal activities and this essay will support the statement.
For starters, heinous crimes are soaring in today’s world and capital punishment keeps the criminals and their notorious activities in check. According to a news article in New York times, every 2 minutes a girl is being raped and every 5 minutes someone is getting murdered around the world. It is clear that extreme punishment makes the community a safer place to live. Many countries of middle east such as Saudi Arabia and Dubai have adopted capital punishment for the evil crimes committed. Although this seems to be atrocious by some, it has significantly reduced the number of criminal occurrences since past two decades.
Moreover, because of a threat on life, the motivation to continue living a life of an offender will diminish. For example, Think about a child who grew up in an environment with older delinquents. While he will think that it will be easy to get away with a crime, it will encourage him to rob someone or perhaps kill for survival. With a knowledge of consequences of the actions, it will deter the person from continuing living a life of a lawbreaker.
To conclude, from the above passages it is comprehendible that death penalty is historically proven to be effective in alleviating capital offences and will continue to make the world a better and a safe place for humankind to exist.

Hello John,
Sorry I have not been in touch as I have been busy with my work lately. But, I want to tell you something phenomenal happened with me.
Last week when I was in the mall, a raffle was going on to raise money for new year event later this year. You will not believe what happened. The prize was a luxurious holiday to Hawaii with 2 plane tickets and I won it. I feel like I am on top of the world and I want you to join me for this tour so that I can share my excitement with you.
If everything executes perfectly, the trip is scheduled to start on 29th June 2022 from Las vegas and will last for 7 days, ending in Las Vegas. Apart from a plethora of fun water activities at Juan island, two other islands, Waikiki and Honolulu, will be covered in this vacation.
Along with sheer enthusiasm, some other things are needed to make this vacation a success. Because water sports are included in the package, swim suits will be needed. Hiking shoes, along with appropriate hiking clothing, is required as a hike to the staircase to heavens in scheduled on the 3 day. rest some comfortable clothes will be enough.
It’s been a while that we have met. This trip will give us the opportunity to take a break from our hectic lives and rejuvenate and because of our friendship, I will not take a no for an answer.

There are some pristine places that still exist on Earth and these days backpackers and researchers are given access to these areas. While there are some pros to this, such as enhancement of knowledge and Exciting travel experience, I believe the cons, like life threatening conditions and destruction of the ecology, outweighs the pros and this will be discussed in this essay.
To start with, there are two main advantages. Firstly, accessing the remote areas will allow people, especially scientists, to explore the ecosystem, which will add to the knowledge base for the enlightenment of the humankind. For example, there are technologists that are conducting researches on north pole, one of the least accessible areas on earth, to study the environmental conditions and the inhabitants of that area. Secondly, for avid travelers, it will provide an exciting travel opportunity to visit unexplored areas of this planet.
Regardless of how adventurous these areas can be, there are some disadvantages that cannot be overlooked. First of all, even though traveling can provide an electrifying experience, it can be hazardous, if people are unprepared. For instance, many scientists and travelers tried visiting Amazon forests, a scarcely inspected area, without knowing the environment have lost their lives or had a near death experience during their exploration adventure. Moreover, due to access to these unspoiled areas, infrastructure development will be inevitable, and this will pose a threat to the flora and fauna of that area.
To summarize, though the advantage of increase of environmental knowledge and thrilling tourism are present, travel to remote areas is not only fatal to the ecosphere, but also to human life and I believe, the disadvantages predominate the advantages.

Traffic gridlock is one of the major issues faced by the developed cities. A multitude of factors, such as under-constructed routes and the rise of number of automobiles on the roads, contribute to this phenomenon. This essay will suggest that there are certain adaptable solutions which can mitigate this issue, if not eradicate completely.
Because of a large number of populace is attracted to metropolitan cities in search of livelihood every year, there is a sharp increase in the number of vehicles driven. As the cosmopolitan cities have humongous distances to cover, people prefer to travel in their personal conveyance. On top of this, poorly constructed and damaged roadways slows down the traffic flow, thereby creating bottlenecks at the intersections. For example, Los Angeles, one of the majorly developed cities in California, is considered to have the worst traffic in the entire United States because of the increasing population and ever going constructions.
While the problems are real, there are some uncomplicated methods, if adopted, can reduce the impact of the issue. Major corporations have allowed their employees to work remotely from the comforts of their home, which has resulted in slight reduction of traffic. With other companies adopting this policy, this effect can be compounded resulting in opening up of streets for a free flow of traffic. Furthermore, an upgraded infrastructure, like filling up the potholes and increasing the number of smooth lanes will allow the motor vehicles to run without slowing down. For example, Las Vegas, in the United States has seen a large number of people migrating. To tackle the increasing traffic, additional lanes has been added on freeways for smoother traffic flow.
To conclude, even though manifold reasons contribute towards traffic jams in urban areas such as migration of humans is search of a better life and unmanaged infrastructure, certain steps taken by corporations and government such as remote work for employees improving the infrastructure of the city can alleviate the problems.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to bring to your attention that the internet service in our area is facing some issues from past couple of days and we have not heard that any attempts are being made to resolve the problem.
The problem with the service is that the internet speed has reduced drastically from 100 mbps to 5 mbps.
With the schools going online due to the pandemic, the students are not able to attend their online classes. This is directly affecting their education. Moreover, the professionals who are working from home are not able to perform their tasks which is highly inconvenient and frustrating for them.
I would appreciate if you can send out a technician in this area as soon as possible so that the issue can be resolved at the earliest. To serve the residents better with an improved service in the future and because of my technical background, I would like to suggest that if more optic fiber cables can be added in this area, it can be a permanent solution to tackle the reduced speed issue.

Dear Miss. Johnson,
I am writing this letter inform you that I have completed the course on Cyber Security and I would like to express my gratitude towards you lending me a book. However, I was not able to return the book on time but, I would like to return it now.
The handbook was a 5th Edition of fundamentals of cyber security written by Dr. Jack Reacher and Dr. Gregory Moody and it was a paperback edition published in 2019.
This edition helped me during the course as it clearly explained the basics of cyber attacks that happen in the world and clearly laid out the measures that can be adopted to secure ourselves from getting cyber attacked or being cyber bullied.
Since the exam of this course was the first, I was occupied in preparing for the other exams. Therefore, I was not able to return this book within the allotted time, as there was a lot to prepare for other courses as well.
Once again, I would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Nowadays, as the corporations are expanding, an unvarying dress code is being promoted for their employees. This comes with some merits and demerits associated with it, which will be discussed further in the essay.
To start with, one of the major advantages of introducing a uniform amongst the staff members is to create equality and a sense of inclusion, thus reducing discrimination based on the dressing choices. Because of the sense of belongingness, the interaction among the staff members increases, thereby increasing productivity. Secondly, a worker wearing a uniform appears to be professional at first look. Some people are hesitant at asking for help from someone who is not an employee and a uniform makes them identifiable and easy to approach. Lastly, Uniforms help in promoting the brand name. In this competing world where a lot of companies are stepping into different sectors, advertisements are becoming of utmost importance and a professional dress code with a company logo on it is a free advertisement for the brands.
However, there are some demerits associated with it. First and foremost, with the increasing cost of living due to inflation, it can be a financial burden on the employee. Because multiple pairs will have to be purchased, some may consider it an expensive affair, therefore they may look down upon it. The second con is that if the material of the uniform is cheap and low quality, it can cause discomfort to the employee, therefore, preventing them from performing to their full potential.
To conclude, there are a lot of advantages of uniforms like brand promotion, sense of inclusion, and professionalism but, there are some disadvantages also, such as additional expense and cheap quality, which cannot be ignored.

Travel and tourism has contributed to the economy and growth of many countries and made English as the widely spoken language. It is believed the English will be adopted as the only language to be spoken across the world. Will it not be beneficial for everyone? In this essay we will discuss the merits and demerits of having a single global language.
To begin with, a common global language can help us to communicate with everyone easily. Because of effective communication, there will be an upward growth in international trade. Furthermore, this will enable us to understand the various cultures that exists in the world as it will destroy all the language barriers.
On the other hand, there are some disadvantages also. Firstly, it will pose a threat to the cultures across the globe. Less use of the regional language will eventually lead to its extinction. The fun of knowing a culture is to understand the history of its language and traditions. An extinct language means a loss of a unique culture. This will ultimately lead to a decrease in tourism. Secondly, it will of great difficulty for the non-native English speakers to communicate. If every form/paper/speech will be in English, non-English speakers will not be able to contribute to it.
To conclude, even though there are advantages of having a common global language such as facilitation of international trade and understanding different cultures with ease. Some will benefit with this. But, there are bigger disadvantages like extinct cultures and difficulty in communication for native language speaker which cannot be ignored.
