    Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to provide feedback about the baking course which I completed from your school.

I was initially sceptical whether I can master the baking skills with this curriculum design. But, frankly speaking, the cooking lessons were well curated & really impactful, hence my learning curve took upward trajectory right from the beginning of the course.

Although it was little fast paced, trainers were well experienced and they involved me in lot of practical sessions. It boosted my confidence to try out various baking at my home. On of my best baking is Black Forest cake which I prepared for my wife. After tasting it, she complemented me for providing the authentic taste to it.

When I suggested this school to my friends who has desire in learning cooking, they found that some of the courses like Chinese & Indian cuisines are not available in portal for them to sign up. Therefore, my suggestion is to introduce the course as many Indians are living in and around our neighbourhoods.

Overall, the course was well designed and it was well executed by trainers as well.

    Yours Sincerely,

    Vigneshwar

August 21, 2022 at 9:28 AM in reply to: Task 2 (Is it a positive or negative development): Retirement

In the recent times, senior citizens’ preferences to stay in old age homes increases over spending rest of their life with their children under same roof. Obviously, this change in the mindset has various reasons to it. But it brings forth lot of negative things to the society.

Most importantly, the absence of elderly people in the home has lot of repercussions on their offspring’s’ life. Firstly, wisdom of old people is very valuable and it can be passed from one generation to another only if they stay together with their children. Secondly, some of the traits like Solidarity and bond between parents and child disintegrates as their distance increases.

To begin with, Wisdom and abundant knowledge that elders carry is vital for their next generations to be aware of. Some of the things like custom and tradition, knowledge on food and medicine which elders posses cannot be dismissed and belittled. Moreover, they play a vital role in upbringing the grand children with the right knowledge required. In addition to that, parents and children’s eternal bond can last forever only if they stay together. Otherwise it might slowly deteriorate when they separate, after which both will long for the each others’ love eventually.

To conclude, elderly’s engagement with their same age group people has lot of merits like it will keep them revitalized, nevertheless, it is not advisable to get separated from their children. If that happens by any chance, we as a society will be deemed failed since our future generations will be devoid of traits, custom and tradition what we carried on/uphold till now.

August 17, 2022 at 10:48 AM in reply to: Task2 (Essay writing) : Office design

In the recent times, There is a great traction on designing the office space with open-space concept predominantly by many firms rather than the old fashioned cubicle design. In this essay, we will go over the advantage which open-space design provides as well as its disadvantages and I will finally take my stance on either one of them.

First and Foremost, Open-space designs are being adopted by many companies as it offers various benefits to both employers and employees such as inclusiveness, parity and fraternity among employees and their leaders. Indeed, Sitting aside with leaders will boost the morale of the employees sheerly because it elicits positive impression in them that they are being treated fairly and equally irrespective of hierarchy. Obviously, cost factor is also involved as this design provides an option to accommodate more people in lesser space.

On the other hand, cubicle design is slowly becoming obsolete as cost cutting concerns are bubbling up quickly when compare to others. Nevertheless, it provided great advantages which we find it lacking in open-space. For some of the sectors like financial services, open-space creates insecurity that the data cannot be kept confidential. So these kind of misconducts can be avoided if there is more privacy by implementing enclosed cubicles.

In my opinion, open-space can be applicable for most of the companies as it has utter advantages as cost and inclusivity plays a major role but we cannot disregard the issues which it brings to some of sectors like finances. So space design should be adopted based on the primary needs and its plausibility rather than applying it blindly.

August 16, 2022 at 1:45 AM in reply to: Task 2 ( discuss both the views) : economic progress

It has become the general perspective for the governments to keep their prime focus on the economic growth of the country by taking several measures however masses criticize that the other things have been side-lined which should be deemed as important for prospects of the country & citizens. Therefore, in this essay, I am going to discuss in detail about both the key elements in both the aspects and finally state my stand among both the views.

Financial growth is being considered as essential by many administrations for the factors such as sustainable growth required in the economy to keep debt, inflation in controlled rate and needs of cash inflow from foreign investments and companies to spend for countries’ development. Firstly, if the financial growth was considered by government as a mere low value, debt and inflation will transcend beyond its limit, hence it might keep the development of country at bay.
Secondly, focus on financial growth will provide consistent Cashflow that will be required for government’s spending towards infrastructure and basic needs of the people. For instance, during covid time, financially rich countries were able to curb the spread of disease and produced vaccine at larger scale.

On the other hand, there are other factors which should be considered as equally important for the country as similar to financial growth. People’s exposure to pollution, green house warming are more concerning now. In addition, safety index should be considered significantly for the citizens to leave in harmony and fraternity. Obviously, people health and environmental protection should be the primary concern irrespective of what wealth the companies like chemical firm and industries generates by paying huge taxes to the governments. Moreover, crime rates in the countries should be in curbed state such as smuggling, murders. Otherwise, this will hamper the growth of the country.

Finally, In my opinion, economic growth and other factors such as pollution, safety index also should be weighed equally for the future aspects and sustainable growth of the country without which progress of the country will get hindered adversely and it leads to menacing danger. So this brings forth the fact all the factors will be the pillars of the sustainable growth of the country otherwise our nation is bound to collapse.

July 25, 2022 at 9:47 AM in reply to: Task 2 ( 2 parts question)

In contemporary world, younger generations are keen to have babies at their later stage rather than the ideal age. There are several reasons to the shift in this trend, such as career consciousness and quality time of being together post marriage without any commitments have changed mindset of individuals. It has advantages, however I am aligning towards disadvantages since it has adverse effects on their upcoming generations due to age gap and medical complications.

Firstly, today’s young people put their focus more on their career when compare to previous generations, but they are ignorant to have children. As they want to have their financial stability in the first place, other things become the less priority to them. To support this fact, we have witnessed in many countries that people have been giving more importance to their future prospects by pursuing higher studies up to age of 30 after which they think about life planning. What’s more, Some couples want to spend their quality time together by engaging in activities, such as exploring many places, playing games and doing adventure activities to understand each other intricately. Therefore, it leads to the procrastination of having offspring at the ideal time.

Although they are sensible in their relationship and career decisions by accounting in lot of factors, I strong believe they have been blinded by other repercussions this trend leads to. Most Importantly, it creates significant age gap between parents and children. As a result, both are having complications in getting along very well because maturity that both have is at extreme side of the spectrum Moreover, kids are getting slid into the situation of carrying financial burden at the early age due to the retirement of their parents and also supporting their health as parents become feeble and prone to illness at older age. These problems are not being factored in during the family planning.

To conclude, youngsters should weigh both career opportunities and life planning as both have equal significance in their life. If they trivialise the life planning by emphasising on another, it bring forth different problems in their life such as health complications on new born babies etc.. So youth should weigh in these aspects to ponder about having children at later sage.

July 14, 2022 at 9:45 AM in reply to: Task 2 ( Two part question) : local food

In this contemporary world, there is a steady rise in the curiosity of the people to explore food from different parts of the world amidst their local staple eatables. This trend can be attributed to major factors which drive it such as globalization and preference to other cuisines over mundane food. Therefore, I strongly believe that it gives major advantage for the countries to leverage this free trade policy and agreements to broaden the horizon of their culture and it also helps in adoption of healthier meals from different nations.

The major causes for embracing the other nation’s food equally to our local food is proliferation of technologies and the increase in the people’s interest to explore other food. Firstly, Technological advancements indeed act as catalyst to propel the Modernisation in many countries and it is also backed by free trade policy agreements between countries. For instance, freezing technology helps to ship the foods easily at global level. Secondly, People are bored of having the same food repeatedly. Therefore, people’s curiosity in tasting the different cuisine cause these various foreign eatables to be available in abundance. To illustrate this, nowadays, one can find more exotic fruits and vegetables imported into markets for consumption

Obviously, this increased trend towards the inclination of having different food varieties provide lot of benefits for our country’s economy in my opinion. Moreover, our nation’s food market territory can be extended further because it would certainly arouse the interest in individuals to know about our culture also. Most importantly, food waste can be averted due to this freezing technology because countries with surplus raw materials can ship it to nations which are short of it. Furthermore, people are getting awareness about the nutrients present in each food. If they find it healthier, these items are being incorporated by them in their diets to make it more balanced irrespective of where these foods come from.

To conclude, broadening of horizon in food space are bound to have potential benefits with regards to availability of nutritious food to both poverties stricken and developed countries. In the wake of Technology advancements, benefits of these modernisation would be transcended beyond the limits than what value it yields currently.

    Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to complain about the disturbance which we have been experiencing for the past few days due to the loud noise arising from your restaurant chain ever since its commencement in Bellandur area.

I live in the apartments named Mahaveer which is few meters away from your outlet. The Loud music is being played incessantly throughout the day in your eatery, Because of which I am not able to work from home. In addition to that it affects my children’s studies also. Therefore, We are not able to live in harmony since this noisy environment have been causing extremely inconvenience to stay in our house. In fact my father cannot be allowed to listen loud sounds due to his health complications.

I urge your management to take appropriate action by not playing music with loud sound in the outdoor area. It is recommended to play music in outdoor for limited time. In fact, your indoor area would be the most suitable place to play music throughout the day to avoid public inconvenience. Especially, the good solution is to maintain sound in certain decibels which will not cause disturbance to neighbourhood by deploying sound arresters around the hotel.

I am expecting you to resolve this issue within some days. Upon failing I will take legal action by filling a compliant in the local police station to curb this nuisance.

    Yours sincerely,

July 6, 2022 at 12:33 AM in reply to: Task 2 (Opinion Based) : community service

It is a general belief among many people that social service should become essential part of high school education such as mentoring juniors on extra curricular activities and taking part in awareness campaign, cleaning activities to improve neighbourhood. I completely agree to the statement as it creates lot of benefits to society such as access to education, lesser crime rates and imparting right moral qualities on learners.

Involving in community service makes the students more compassionate towards others. Thus, it eventually leads to lesser crimes in the country. People who gets benefitted also feel more gratitude so they would be interested in giving back to the society. For students, it gives the sense of fulfilment since their contribution create positive impact in the society. In many of the countries, It indeed improved the society holistically in terms of moral standards and crimes. Violence has come down drastically in all the nations where the academy made this social service mandatory for high school learners.

I also agree that school’s credit system plays a crucial role in increasing the philanthropic activities among high school students. Nowadays, educational institutions have been introducing credit system based on the contribution by students to the community. It implicitly act as impetus for the students to be more engaged in these activities. In London, students took initiatives in reviving the littered public places like parks and lakes and it slowly became one of the cleanest city. In addition to that they were also involved in awareness campaign to keep the city clean that resulted in creating the mindset among people to make environment pollution free. School’s credit system played a major role in fostering this good habits among learners about keeping the society in harmony apart from striving to get additional credits through philanthropic activities

In conclusion, enacting this rule of making community service mandatory for high school pupils yields lot of benefits to the development of the neighborhood and society such as increasing the generosity among learners, reduction in violence. Moreover, this new concept of credit system based on the student’s participation in community service also transcends the empathy to whole new level.

  • Nowadays, It is the common practice among the parents to coax their children in pursuing higher education abroad for various reasons. This essay discuss about the advantages and disadvantages of moving to foreign countries to study in some of the renowned universities. Finally I will provide a logical solution to it.

The main advantages of pursuing the higher education abroad are the global exposure and high quality education which students can get when compare to their homeland. Firstly, Since these are renowned universities, students from all over the world would join there. So it provides worldwide exposure to them, moreover learners can experience different culture & customs of the foreign nations. Secondly, they will get high quality of education due to the high standard curriculum curated by universities and it will be taught by the skilled professors. Therefore, It helps them to acquire knowledge and stay ahead in the race.

In contrast to that, studying abroad has some drawbacks as well. The major cons are home sickness facing by students since they miss their families and friends and their involvement in illicit activities due to the less attention by parents. Pupils can feel loneliness if they are not able to adapt to new environment and they can potentially become distressed if they miss the presence of their family. Apart from that, Parents are not getting much visibility about the activities which their children are getting engaged on daily basis. It gives the liberty for the teenagers to do wrongdoings by getting addicted to drugs and other activities. As a result, this kind of misconduct can be avoided only if they stay close to parents.

In my opinion, There are lot of benefits that parents can witness in persuading their kids to pursue higher education overseas because students can easily overcome the other negative factors like home sickness if they can socialize and make new friends quickly. Moreover, parents can nurture them with right moral values and virtues during their childhood, So that they will not be addicted to any wrong habits. In conclusion, Parents should act as impetus for kids to get international exposure by pursuing high standard education in renowned universities abroad.

    Hello Ram,

I am writing this letter to cordially invite you to come and visit my newly shifted house.

Firstly, my previous house was very close to main road. I witnessed the sudden increase of vehicles movement in that road since it became the main route for many government offices and companies. So my family started suffering from a lot of air and noise pollution throughout the day. It affected the health of my children and elderly parents. Despite, it’s close proximity to all important places, I moved out of that house.

During my house hunt, I found this new house through a broker. It appealed so nice to me when I visited this house that it met all my expectations in terms of basic amenities and the space it provides. It is a duplex house which has 4 rooms, so it accommodate my joint family. It has bigger backyard and this house is in community which has all basic amenities to spend our leisure time like sports ground, play courts and parks.

Its been 2 weeks since I’ve moved here. Please visit my house whenever you are free. We can have great time here during weekends.

    Warm regards,

    Vigneshwar.

Some of the people have the notion that conserving nature is the duty of the government. Regardless of this notion, others have the contradictory perception that everyone should play an equal part in safeguarding habitat. I firmly believe that not only authorities should have the responsibilities in making amendments to preserve the ecosystem but also people are entitled to adhere to the rules and take part in creating awareness to secure environment.

Firstly, bureaucrats are primarily accountable for the preservation of biodiversity. They should enact strict laws and create regulations for sustainable ecosystems and to curb the destruction of nature. In addition to that, they should also insist on all industries to follow the norms defined by the government because our biodiversity is being largely affected by industries’ careless nature. For instance, Amazon forest is being deforested and lot of species are in endangered state due to the carefree attitude of government in safeguarding it by allowing the industries to cut down the trees. This in turn leads to soil erosion and it becomes the unsuitable habitat for the fauna to survive.

Nevertheless, people should have equal responsibility in supporting the administration by conforming to the rules defined. Moreover, individuals should engage in creating awareness against animal poaching and conservation of forests. The public can take initiatives in conducting campaigns about deforestation and preserving nature. For instance, in many parts of India, social activists have taken initiatives in supporting various government campaigns by involving in restoring the water resources and rejuvenation of polluted rivers like ganga. As a result, it brought back the various flora and fauna which relies on those resources for habitat.

In my opinion, both administration and people should play an equal role in the conservation of biodiversity. Even though the government enacts many laws to protect nature, if the public doesn’t comply with it, it leads to the destruction of our environment. However, Government also should take stringent action against violators to conserve biodiversity.

There is an increase in the migration of working professionals from their poor countries to rich countries. This essay discusses the problems such as the shortage of skilled professionals, along with that it has an adverse impact on the country’s economy. These problems can be averted by taking proper measures to generate employment opportunities and by enacting strict migration policies.

Firstly, the migration of skilled workforce from poor countries has been affecting the nation in several factors, such as a reduction in skilled workers and a negative impact on the country’s revenue. Companies in economically weaker nations are shutting down because they couldn’t find skilled labour which matches their requirements due to the migration of talents. As a result, the closing down of factories has a cascading effect on the country’s economy. The government couldn’t manage their expenditures and investment in various sectors for development due to fewer taxes paid by firms.

However, the government can take proactive measures to avert a financial crisis by generating employment opportunities. Governments can simplify the process of setting up new companies and also support them in ease of doing business, which in turn will result in the generation of more employment opportunities. In addition, the government can enact minimum wages and strict migration policies by asking them to serve the nation or to work in local companies for at least a minimum of years after pursuing their education. The minimum wage policy will provide a morale boost for workers to work in their native countries since it will entice them to work here if they are not finding any big deviation in the pay scale between their countries and rich nations.

In conclusion, the Migration of skilled labour to richer nations due to lucrative wages and promising careers results in brain drain and shortage of skilled people. Consequently, it wreaks havoc country’s economy. It can be alleviated by providing incentives and subsidies in addition to streamlining the process of ease of doing business, which results in generating more job opportunities.

June 4, 2022 at 12:44 AM in reply to: Task 2 (Opinion based) : Capital Punishment

In contemporary world, we are in vulnerable situation due to increase in violence. There are speculations that Capital punishment is the solution to bring down the violence. However, I am inclined towards providing an opportunity for the offenders to plead their guiltiness by inculcating right moral standards and virtues in them.

Firstly, In my opinion, Executing the offenders is inhuman. The main problem of increase in violence are people are not nurtured with proper moral values right from their childhood and criminals are not getting proper rehabilitation while they serve their sentence. Criminals can be given second chances to realise their mistakes by providing counselling to them. Based on the severity of the crimes which they committed, they can be given lifetime imprisonment and involved in proper rehabilitation. After regular assessment, if the authorities feel offenders possess right virtues, they can be released to live in society. So Instead of instilling the fear in society by giving death penalty to criminals, rather, Government can focus on improving the overall basic moral standards of the society.

Most of the crimes in our country are committed by inebriated individuals. Giving capital punishment to offenders won’t inflict fear in them as they won’t take it as a major concern for doing the illicit activities. Imposing Extreme punishments for crimes can make people dreadful to live in the society. For instance, When talibans came to power, they enacted lot of severe punishments like beheading, stone pelting which left the people traumatised. Being unable to tolerate this adverse condition, people flee to neighbouring countries as refugees.

To conclude, I would like to say that curbing the crimes using capital punishments can be futile. Because it will not create harmony in the society due to apprehension. Instead Government can focus on improving the moral standards and virtues of prisoners by providing proper rehabilitation.

Recently, A research has been conducted on the prisoners who got released from prison after serving their sentence. It states that criminals are most likely to involve in criminal activity after being released. This essay discusses about the reasons behind crimes of these prisoners and what measures can be taken to overcome it.

The main problems are Social Stigma and lack of proper rehabilitation. Social Stigma is one of the major cause of the high recidivism rates. Once wrong doers got released from prison, they strive to get socialised with the society. Society starts discriminating them due to their past offence, moreover they are being disregarded as well. Being in distress, offenders are being forced to commit crimes again. While serving their sentence, Prisoners lacks the proper rehabilitation. Criminals are not being properly counselled to inculcate ethical behaviour and morality. Prison environment results in creating distress on the prisoners. Without proper counselling, their attempt to retaliate will increase progressively and it causes them to commit crimes again by confronting the enemy after being released.

In my opinion, the best solution is to provide financial support in initial stages in addition to that they need proper training and right opportunities to thrive in the society. Prisoners are getting impoverished and it persuades them to involve in illicit activities. So, they need proper financial support at early stages to survive in society until they find their livelihood. In this fast growing contemporary world, prisoners cannot compete with society if they lack in skills. On being released, Government should assist them in finding right opportunities by insisting employers to consider them irrespective of their pass offence.

In conclusion, The main cause of high recidivism rates in prisoners are Social Stigma and lack of proper rehabilitation which results in immorality. The most effective solution is to support them financially in early stages and offer proper training to improve their virtue and skills.
