The bar graph illustrates the population of seals, whales and dolphins in the Gormez Staits between 2006 and 2018.

Overall, it can be clearly seen that 2018 was the only year where it has highest number of seals, whales and Dolphins. Out of which, dolphins showed an increasing trend throughout the years whereas, seals and whales reflected some fluctuations.

To begin with, seals population started with good amount of hike at nearly 42 in 2006, as opposed to others. However, it fallen in the following year 2010, to almost 23 which somehow similar in numbers of whales. Surprisingly, it picked up the track again and went up constantly from 2014 to 2018 i.e., around 35 and 45 respectively. Whereas the trend for whales was more in a fluctuated way, where it showed a marginal difference of improvement between 2006 and 2018 with a difference of around 5.

Lastly, dolphin shown the highest scope of improvement starting from the beginning year till end. Among others, it was in the lowest count as about 17 in 2006, then improvised gradually by almost 22 in 2010, 32 in 2014 and topped in the last year, near to 52, which was highest among others.

@falak Here is my Task 1:-

The graph illustrates information about activities in percentagewise, performed by older people in their leisure time from 1980s to 2010s in America.

Overall, it can be clearly observed that hiking is the most frequent activity done by elders, as it spiked rocketly. Whereas, other activities like Reading, watching TV, Theatre and Surfing the internet showed some kind of fluctuations.

Among them, there was the only one activity(i.e Hiking) which went up drastically from 20% in 1980 to 80% in 2010 without any hiccups. However, reading and theatre fluctuated multiple times while crossing each other path in proportion, where both acted contrastingly from beginning (30% and 50%) to end (60% and 45%) over three decades. Lastly, there was a similar trend between remaining activities (Watching TV & Surfing the internet) initially, as both raised up with 10% of difference from 1980s till 2000s, but then ended up in contradictory direction with almost 65% and 50% in 2010s.

    Updated one:-

The tables illustrate the information in percentage wise about the world population estimation in 2050, based on what distributed in past, within different regions from 1950 to 2000.

Overall, it can be seen clearly that the world population had been in increasing trend from past 50 years and will rise eventually by 2050. Moreover, it could be observed that Oceania was the least in proportion among all the regions.

To begin with, Africa is the only region with continuous improvement of 9% in 1950 to 13% in 2000 and would go up till 20% in 2050. Europe and NA both are in declining state. The population in Europe has been fallen consistently with the difference of 10% and 5%. Likewise, NA went down with marginal difference of 2% and 1%, from past 100 years. Similarly, both LA and Oceania got hiked initially from 1950 to 2000 by 3 percent and almost 1 percent but remained steady at 9% and 1% in 2050. However, Asia showed some minimal fluctuations in contribution from 1950 to 2050 (i.e., 4% and 1% respectively).

@falak Here is my task 1:

The maps illustrate the details about the changes in architecture of University’s sports Centre happened during pre-construction and post- construction.

Overall, it looks like future plans of re-constructing of sports centre is quite innovative as there would be plethora of facilities like changing rooms, café, sports hall and many more, within the University itself.

Comparatively, there are many areas which got re-developed with new shops and facilities in predicted plan as opposed to current structure. The noticeable modifications in both the plans are, firstly, outdoor courts which exist currently in either side of center pool will be vanished with new and spacious leisure pool and sport hall. The gym tends to get extended more in the future as compare to present. Moreover, I could see many new implementations surrounded by a 25m pool like two dance studios will get opened in the east of sport hall and there would be another big leisure pool for people at the west side of changing room. Not only this, but there will also be two more changing rooms in the corner side of the receptions, which is in south along with one each shops (i.e. sports shop and café respectively).

The two pie charts illustrate the information in proportion about the household expenditure on necessities from 1995 to 2011 in China.

Overall, it can be seen clearly that food was the major expense for people of china, which was accounted for over the half of the budget in both the years while others like clothing, medicine and household goods were the least in household expense.

To begin with, money spent by people on Medicine was comprised of 4% in 1995 which got raised by 5% of difference in 2011. Likewise, expenditure on other household goods in the first year was 9% which increased with a slight difference of 3% in 2011.

With regards in decreasing order, there was a higher proportion in 1995 (19%) which went down with a minimal difference in 2011 (18%). Whereas, food item was the most popular and basic necessity for people to buy which sharply went down with highest difference of 9% within both the years (i.e 1995 and 2011 respectively).

    Hi Falak,

Here is my second Writing task 1:

The bar chart depicts the information about distances(in kilometres) covered by each person each week on 5 different modes of transport from 1990 to 2000 in UK.

Overall, it can be seen clearly that both the year (i.e. 1990 and 2000) covered the maximum distance from bus and rail which made a major rise in total category by individuals. Whereas, bicycle and air were the least choices for people to travelled through.

In 1990, bicycle was able to cover almost 3 km of distance despite being a first mode of transport. Then, 1 km got increased by those people who commuted through motorbike. Air was the least preferrable transportation through which people travelled around 1%. However, bus and rail were the best and cheap choice for each person for travelling as both covered majority of kilometres (i.e. 40% and almost 37% respectively).

In 2000, each individual travelled drastically less(1 km) on bicycle just like people who commuted through air in 1990. There was a 1 km difference in distances travelled by people through motorbike and air. Similarly, bus and rail were the most preferable choices for every individual to commute which covered the highest numbers of kilometres as around 41% and 38%.

    Hi Falak!

Here is my first writing task 1:-

The bar chart illustrates the information in percentage wise about how often people ate food at fast food restaurants in America from 2003 to 2013.

Overall, people in US preferred to go in restaurants usually once a week or twice a month. However, the were less people as well who went to restaurant every day or never visited. Also, chart shows the average number of people who used to eat outside several times a week or a few times a year.

In 2003, people began visiting to restaurants everyday was about 4%, but the trend increased by around 13% for those who liked to eat several times a week. Once a week category was the highest among all the years when people loved to go outside to ate fast food, almost to 33%. Similarly, people who went once or twice a month to restaurants is around the same in percentage of 30%. Moreover, near 13% of people visited restaurants a few times a year. Whereas there is a count for those people as well, who didn’t go ate in restaurants, never.

The years 2006 and 2013 have been same in few categories for people. Like, people who used to go everyday or who never went to a restaurant is same in percentage for both years (i.e., around 3% and 4% respectively). Likewise, exact 15% were those who ate a few times a year in both the years, 2006 and 2013. However, the percentage of people in year 2006 and 2013 went upwards at peak of 33%, which was identical for people who liked to go restaurants once a week or twice a month. Lastly, the percentage in 2013 ( around 18%) is more than in 2006 ( 25%) in comparison of people who visited once a week or twice a month.

The graph illustrates the amount of fuel used in UK and USA as percentage-wise by the three categories of people which are poorest, middle-income and richest.

In United Kingdom, almost 0.5% of income spent by poor people spent on fuel which is least in the graph. Whereas people used around 3.5% of their money on fuel in United States, which has touched highest at around 5.5%. Coming to Middle-income class, people from both the countries spend an average income on fuel which ranges between around 2.5% and 5%. And, at one point UK and America were on the same percentage of almost 3.5% in terms of fuel consumption.

However, richest people of Britain and US spent around the same amount of money on fuel i.e., around 3.5% by going up and down in UK and decreasing in US.

Overall, it looks like that United Kingdom followed an upward trend and United States followed the downward trend in case of consuming a fuel.

Education plays a vital role in human development. Few people believe that infants should get education at the age of four whereas others think that it is not worth until they get seven or eight years old. I will be discussing both the view points in upcoming paragraphs and express my thoughts on this.

To begin with, children should start studying at the age of four to get an exposure of new developments. At the stage of four, their mind will be like an engine of a brand new car which needs to adapt changes or get polished based on how a driver will drive a car. Likewise, children will get a chance to explore nature, friends, teachers, technology etc. Although that would so early in their age, still they can start their journey by going into a play school and start learning. By doing this at early age, their mind will get adapt to new things quickly and easily as brain of a young child will work faster as compare seven years old kid. Teachers can make kids familiar with subjects like Mathematics, English and science. Not only teachers will participate in this process, but parents will also help their children by nurturing them at home. For instance, a recent survey done by University of London declared that children who started their formal education at four have outperformed well in their teenage.

While other people think that it is not an appropriate age for children to get surrounded with studies and give them such burden. Also, they should be spending more time with their parents rather than in school. However, they fail to recognise the fact that this does not always benefit for their overall development. This is because, some parents do not have that skills or capabilities to educate their children for the future, for which school is the best platform to get into and impart knowledge and socially interact with other kids as well.

To conclude, early years of education will be beneficial for children will help them to grow mentally which automatically boost their performance till the time they get seven or eight years old.

    Hi Cynthia,

    Hope you are doing well.

I’m really glad to hear that you are coming to India this November. This is the perfect time to travel as there would not be with high hot temperatures due to winters. You will enjoy the sunny day with mild cold temperature and will able to explore different places during the daylight without worrying about hot temperatures as i know you have been living in canada which is popular for harsh winters.

Since you are coming to my country, i’ll recommend few things which you can put in your checklist. Firstly, do not bring heavy winter jackets or shoes as the winter won’t be so cruel unlike canada, so you can survive here in full cotton t-shirts or light jackets with no issues.

As far as accommodation is concerned, i know some best and cheap hotels which provides excellent services to their customers. Obviously, it will be near by my place so that we can meet and commute easily. You just need to get out from Delhi Airport Terminal 3 and ask any taxi to take you to your respective hotel. Rest, i will take care of it once you reach here.

New Delhi is a very popular city for food, clothes, modern building, restaurents etc. Although, i’ll be working on those days, still i can take some time offs to show some places in my city like India Gate, Qutab Minar, Red Fort etc. Also, we can travel to coldest parts of India from Delhi easily with an affordable expenses.

The best part you will like here is food, i think. Because there are plethora of restaurants in popular hub areas like Gurugram, CP and South Delhi where you can taste different cuisines.

I’m so thrilled with this news that i started thinking about our plans to make your experience worth coming here. Let me know if you have something else in your mind that i missed.

Looking forward to meet you soon. Have a safe travel.

    Your Childhood Friend!

Both the generations have their own experiences of living a life. Nowadays, many people believe that young generation suffers the more than the older ones. This essay will discuss further why teenager life has been more stressful than a previous generation on the basis of past and current situations.

Firstly, teenagers are more aware about their surroundings due to advance technologies which was minimal in previous times. They follow the current trends through films and media in which they see latest apparels and cars while growing up. Also, they get familiar through latest gadgets like Mobile phones and computers which makes their desires to acquire them gradually. And, in order to buy those items, they feel more pressurised. However, such stresses were not there in previous generation due to lack of technology.

Infact, these type of pressures start building up in schools itself. The teenagers try to study and compete with each other to get higher marks so that they can take an admission in top ranking universities so that they can placed into great companies like Google, Microsoft, etc to make their desires come true. During whole process, they have to suffer a lot of strain from their parents, through extra hours of studies and examinations which somehow have a negative impact on their brains.

However, it is not right to say that older generation people didn’t experience stress in their lives. In earlier times, people used to work harder as they required to put their extra physical and mental effort to achieve their goals. This is because, there were less facilities, tools and machines weren’t upgraded time to time which caused anxiety building up in their minds. For instance, labours working in fields and factories.

To recapitulate, I agree that today’s generation face stress levels at many stages of life in terms of academic and professional but in my view these stresses are not greater than those who experienced in earlier generations.

The table illustrates about the good qualities based on ratings of McGill University like Teaching quality, Library resources, student services, variety of modules offered, sports and social facilities which varies between 2005, 2010 and 2015.

As per the table, only student services was the only aspect of the University which showed a continuous improvement in its rating over a decade from 54% in 2005 to 95% in 2015. However, there was an opposite trend in range of modules being offered aspect in University which went down from 39% in 2005 to 31% in 2010 and then decreased with the difference of 6% in 2015.

Whereas, both teaching quality and library resources aspects showed a fluctuation percentage-wise during the year 2005, 2010 and 2015 with the minimal effect. At first, in 2005, it decreased with minor change of 2% then it went upward from 72% to 78% between 2010 and 2015. Similarly, the second aspect in the table rise up from 2005 to 2010(i.e. 86% and 88% respectively) and dropped down with just 1% in 2015. Moreover, the last aspect of this table which hasn’t changed in its rating i.e Sports and social facilities. The only aspect which had a constant performance with no changes at the percentage of 65% over the decade.
