We had met, while we were on the boarding line to clear the immigration check. Later on, we ensured to get our seats available next to each other. Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter with regard to my camera Canon EOS 90D which I had lost during my recent vacation trip to Hawaiian islands in the United States. It has been covered under the Insurance policy JA1234678 since last 2 years till date.
The digital camera was in excellent condition and it had a feature of 32.5 megapixel CMOS Sensor with 3.0 inch vari-angle touch screen LCD which allowed to take mesmerizing quality photographs. Also, it has a capability to take 22000 shutter shots in an hour. In addition, it had a thick silky brown case cover which makes it look attractive.
Moreover, I had taken this camcorder for trekking in the mountains of Hawaii in order to capture the magnificent beach view of James Kaleoha. Also, we had gone for scuba-diving to capture amazing live videos and pictures. And, I had placed my camera in a black bag with a lion animal picture tattooed on the front, near to one of the closest rooms available in the diving area. Post completion of my diving, I noticed that the camera was not found in my bag.
I would be grateful if you could honour this claim under the aforementioned policy by releasing 100 percent amount as a replacement cost for the camera at the earliest.

In this modern era, many unlawful incidents occur at various places. Nowadays, studies show that offenders who have been to jail frequently intend to do more offences once they get out of jail. This essay delves into some of the causes behind these unlawful acts and recommends possible solutions.
First of all, offenders are not treated equally to others in society. Owing to this, they get into the mode of depression and tend to commit more number of crimes. For instance, a person who had been involved in chain snatching previously, if wanted to live a normal life by earning for his day-to-day living, he would not provide any job opportunities to manage his daily expenses. This makes him more stressed and leads to violence-related activities. In addition, lawbreakers receive neither family guidance nor financial assistance from their close ones. Hence, this makes them to think that they have no one for them in this society which influences them to commit more offences.
Furthermore, the best possible solution is to treat people coming out of confinement with duo respect. As they have already been penalized for their committed mistakes, fellow citizens should accept them and encourage them by providing small-scale jobs to manage their daily living. This motivates them and helps them to lead a normal life. Also, they can involve in some social activities during their leisure hours such as helping the poor and blind people which will help them overcome thinking about their past life. Thus, this makes them feel confident and more energetic in handling their futuristic needs.
To conclude, everyone is prone to make mistakes based on circumstances. However, when punishments are already given to the committed unlawful acts, fellow individuals should remember that and treat them with social respect and motivate them to do good activities to lead a happy life.

In this contemporary era, several individuals argue that country’s authorities have to take care of our environment while few people believe that it is everyone’s duty to safeguard our mother nature. In my opinion, I would agree with both the statements and will enlighten my opinion on both the parameters separately.
Firstly, global warming is an important topic of discussion in recent years across the world. And, this has led to an increase in water content around the globe eventually having many cities on the verge of getting submerged under the ocean. Hence, the government should take preventive measures to avoid carbon emissions into the atmosphere. For instance, in the city of Delhi situated in India, people are allowed to commute on their own vehicle only during alternate days for work to avoid air pollution. In addition, the administrative authorities can impose hefty fines along with stringent rules for dumping waste and hazardous substances into the sea which might cause danger to marine animals. Therefore, the central government should discuss with their state officials and work on a sophisticated system in preserving our natural habitat.
Secondly, individuals should take up some ownership in protecting their environment. For instance, certain people poach animals for their skin, hair etc in order to earn more money. In spite of setting up stringent laws by government officials, people still hunt endangered species for their own purposes. This can be prevented only by following it strictly as fellow citizens of the country. Furthermore, it affects our ecosystem which is dependent on each other. So, both the governing bodies and their nationals should work on a methodology which will safeguard their existing resources for their future generations.
In conclusion, while every species has its own role to play in the ecosystem, we have to work on ways of conservation mechanisms. Therefore, both the government and the individuals should collaborate together in preserving the ecosphere filled with natural resources.

Firstly, thank you so much for arranging a comfortable stay in your home. I was able to attend the conference meetings without any interventions from the room itself. However, during one of the discussions, I had to take some important documents from my bag and had kept in on the table right next to my bed along with an orange-coloured envelope with the client’s address written on top of it. However, I forgot to take it and boarded my flight to meet the client at their head office located in Chennai for further discussions.

In recent times, highly skilled workers are migrating to richer nations owing to various reasons. This movement will aggravate problems such as skill scarcity and economic loss to their native country. Providing better infrastructure and offering scholarships to pursue higher studies for advancement in their career are some ways to retain the talent.
Firstly, the main problem is due to brain drain in poor countries in the areas such as research, medicine and education. This will deteriorate the country’s economy and the living conditions for individuals. Furthermore, owing to a lack of skilled professionals, their citizens struggle to get a higher level of education and health services. For instance, a recent study in Norway proved that scientists were not able to conclude research on an emerging virus on account of a shortage of virologists in their country. Secondly, the skilled workforce were also paid lesser salaries compared to their counterparts in developed nations. Hence, this also made them to look for highly paid jobs in wealthier nations. Therefore Government should act immediately to address this problem at the earliest to overcome the shortage of skilled people in key areas.
One possible solution is to provide good wages and scholarships to skilled workers in their respective fields. For instance, interns and junior professionals can be provided training for advancement in their careers along with highly paid job offers from reputed institutions. This will inspire them to serve for their native country and also be beneficial for the citizens of the country in terms of services. Another possible solution is to provide better infrastructure in order to pursue their higher studies in their respective fields by networking with international bodies.

In this modern era, judicial murder is necessary in order to reduce the number of crimes and to live a peaceful life. In my view, I completely agree with the statement as the death penalty will serve as a warning note for criminals to prevent from doing repeated crimes and also ensures law and orders are followed strictly to maintain peace and harmony in the country.
To begin with, the death sentence is necessary to reduce the violence of the crimes. A good instance of this is that children in a school in Texas, United States were shot by a stranger accidentally in recent days resulting in several deaths and severe injuries. In order to control such heinous crimes, people deem that it is the most effective way to address the issue by introducing the death penalty. Furthermore, this kind of law and punishment ensures that ordinary citizens can live without fear and violent individuals are kept away from creating havoc. For instance, there are certain crimes which are beyond correction such as raping a girl child, this kind of incident should never be allowed to be repeated. For such kinds of capital offences, we need to have capital punishment to make our society secure and safe.
Moreover, I reckon that capital punishment is necessary as it is an effective deterrent to many major offences. According to many, the best method to keep unlawful acts under a tolerable level is to show people the consequences of their misconducts and felonies. For example, many Asian countries, including Singapore, have controlled drug trafficking and drug dealing by enforcing death penalties for such offenders. The result of such rule implications has been astounding and all of those countries have alleviated the drug trafficking and drug dealing problems to a staggering lower level.
To conclude, in spite of some emotions and agitations against capital punishment, I believe that it proves to be the best method to make our society witness a much better place to live in.

How are you? Hope all is well. It’s been a long time since we caught up. Sorry, I had been busy of late due to my work schedule. All of a sudden, my world looks rosier and brighter now. I cannot wait to break the good news to you. Yes, I have won a holiday trip to my favourite destination Hawaii.
In recent times, I got the top performer award in my organization for completing my project deliverables on time. This award included a tour to any destination of your preferred choice. And the most interesting part is I have got one more additional ticket free of cost. Hence, I thought you can accompany me on this journey so that we can enjoy spending our days together just as we did during our college days.
Furthermore, I am planning to start this voyage during the first week of July as we have a couple of public holidays lined up. And, it will be a week’s trip where we will onboard the flight at morning 5 am on Sunday from Vancouver and end up returning on Saturday night at 10 pm. In addition, we need to buy some clothes needed for our trip as they will be cheap throughout that time due to promotional offers and ongoing discounts on account of the holiday season.
And, we might need a woollen jacket along with athletic shoes to do some trekking over the lovely mountains situated in Hawai. Despite the wonderful weather, we might fall sick due to changes in climate. Hence, we would need medicines such as paracetamol and certain pain killers as precautionary measures.

This essay will primarily focus on exploring new places and linguistic cultures as the main advantage followed by an investigation of the lack of infrastructure and security threats for performing thesis and research as disadvantages. However, in my view, without discoveries, we cannot achieve new inventions in order to have a well-established ecological space in future.
To begin with, exploring distinct and new places may seem to be exciting and adventurous. Visiting unknown places may give you a different experience with everlasting memories compared to the exposure which you gain by visiting common places. Moreover, traversing the distinct and remote areas would pave the ways to unwrap new cultures from people of diverse communities. Secondly, scientists get to know many unknown things, which helps in developing new theories, products, and so on. To cite an example, an empirical study conducted by Oxford University reveals that 90% of boffins get new ideas when they travel to remote environments. Thus, travel to remote areas may bring numerous advantages.
On the contrary, travelling to underdeveloped and far areas is too risky for humans, resulting in unexpected deaths. The main reason is due to lack of proper communication facilities, poor infrastructure, extreme weather conditions etc. Thus, if individuals had to lose their lives because of enjoyment, this type of travelling should not be encouraged. My nature of work demands me to stay connected to the Internet all day, especially between 9-5 pm. However, the frequent disconnectivity interrupts my work particularly when I am on discussion calls with the client for my project work. This forces me to postpone my current day work to the next day leading to a piling of work to be completed at the last minute.
I had a conversation with my neighbour last night and he is also facing the same issue for the past few days. Nowadays, traffic jam has been a major concern across all the cities around the globe. This essay will discuss about the primary reason of people preferring their own vehicle for commuting
followed by lack of infrastructure and also suggest various measures to tackle the situation.
One of the major reasons is that the ownership of vehicles has increased over the past few years which has lead to the growing number of automobiles on roads. According to some reports, Chennai experienced one of the biggest traffic congestions in 2014 which lasted for more than 24 hours. Secondly, in many cities, the infrastructure has not been properly set up for public transport resulting in people opting for a private mode of transport over public transport. For example, Bangalore has narrow roads which cannot accommodate so many vehicles during peak hours. Thirdly, people do not follow traffic rules in order to reach their target destinations on time. For instance, people employed in the private sector usually prefer to travel on their own two-wheelers and tend to skip traffic signals to reach their office on time.
There are certain measures that can be taken to handle this kind of situation. Firstly, the government should increase the quality of public transport by providing frequent services. In addition to this, fares of government transportation should also be reduced so that everyone can afford it. Another measure is to construct widened roads and bridges such that traffic can move smoothly even during peak hours. Furthermore, separate cycle lanes should be constructed and people should be encouraged to ride bicycles in order to lead a healthy life. Finally, major city centres or key connecting roads of the city must be declared car-free and penalty charges should be imposed on those who do not follow the rules.

On the one hand, there are myriad advantages to studying abroad. To begin with, students get high quality of education and as a result, they end up getting highly paid jobs and live a standard life. For instance, in many developing regions such as Africa parents sacrifice their facilities of life and send their offspring to overseas to pursue higher education. Thus, the percentage of individuals who give priority to attain foreign degrees for their young ones is rising day by day. Secondly, besides attaining degrees students also come across many different languages which are very beneficial for their future career. For example, many people studying abroad learn fluent English which is an international language. Owing to this, a person’s confidence level increases and feels more independent.
On the other hand, spending time studying overseas also has a number of disadvantages. Firstly, most youngsters feel upset when they are living far from their families and are suffering from homesickness ,therefore, they cannot concentrate on their studies. One clear example is that majority of students after immigration for their studies can not study and work, as a result, they get very poor grades and ultimately waste their time as well as money. Secondly, parents have to pay a huge amount of money for their course fees as well as for the cost of living. Furthermore, even if their children win a scholarship, the cost is still unaffordable because of the disparity in currency values between countries. For instance, one year of Post Graduate course study in Canada which includes accommodation and tuition fees, costs over 3 thousand CAD per year approximately.
In conclusion it can be inferred that besides advantages of going to foreign countries, there are some disadvantages as well. However parents should groom their children wisely from the beginning and not spoon-fed them, so that they can enjoy the benefits of studying in other countries as well.

I’m writing to express my annoyance regarding the noise coming frequently from your restaurant during the evening hours.
I am Celia Griep residing in an apartment close to your restaurant. For past couple of days, there is so much of noise coming from your restaurant especially in the evenings. I could see girls dancing and tapping their feet heavily on the floor with loud music. This is really causing lots of disturbances for my children to concentrate on their studies. Furthermore, it becomes worse in the nights such that we can’t even sleep peacefully after a tiresome day.
Hence, I would request you to stop playing music post 6 pm so that it wont be a hindrance to anyone in the surroundings. Additionally, you can have soundproof glasses enabled for your restaurant wherever they are applicable. And, also make sure of your customers be aware, not to create such loud noises after drinking alcohol.
I hope you will consider my request and solve these problems at the earliest. If you don’t resolve these issues, then I will have to rethink of filing a complaint with the nearest police station for further action.

One of the main problems caused by the internet is cyber crime. For example, online banking transactions or online services provide a high risk of stealing the confidential information such as credit card information and personal details leading to hefty financial losses and privacy. Furthermore, it aggravates the problems leading to bankruptcy if proper actions are not taken at appropriate time. Another annoying problem is easy accessibility to obscene or pornographic images where adolescents are getting affected with their personal lives. A recent example of a teenager in California who was a brilliant student in academics became mentally ill of watching obscene movies for past few days along with his friends. Students are getting addicted to such websites which distracts them from concentrating on their studies.

I have been living here over past 2 years and had never encountered such problems until yesterday. However, after the consecutive rainfall for past 24 hours has resulted in leaking of water from roof to every nook and corner of the house. And due to unavailability of power, the room heaters are not working as expected resulting in severe chillness inside the house.

Nowadays, schools have taken constructive measures to reward students for excelling in academics and extracurricular activities. This is an idealistic approach to encourage students perform well in their career instead of penalizing them for their bad behavior and irregular homework . In my view, this is a widespread technique which needs to be incorporated by each institution to motivate a child build his/her analytical and cognitive skills.
Firstly, children will attend school regularly, if they are rewarded for their achievements. This helps them to develop into a good student in future. For example: Awarding students for doing their homework regularly encourages to improve their writing skills and perform consistently well in their periodic assessments. Therefore, this helps the child to be optimistic and feel valued for the work they do.
Secondly, rewarding children with prizes during ceremonies for their outstanding performances boosts self-confidence within them.
Example: A student who secured high marks in final examinations being awarded the Student of the year helps him to excel in his studies further. Furthermore, it helps student think independently and thereby improving his overall personal abilities.
